Människor tenderar att minnas utförda uppgifter och återkalla dem bättre än när de enbart kodar samma uppgifter muntligt, även känd som enactment effekt. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om enactment effecten ökar under en ny inkodning som aldrig tidigare utförts inom paradigmet ? Subject-Experimenter-Performed-Task. Sammanlagt medverkade 56 personer i studien, 32 killar och 24 tjejer i åldrarna 10-18. En grupp lågstadiebarn och en grupp gymnasieungdomar testades i VT, EPT, SPT och SEPT betingningar.

The thesis is about exploring possibilities for developing a standardised system solution for micro businesses, this since most of the micro business lack proper system solutions, a contributing factor of this is price and also incompatibility between the solution and the business itself. The system solutions we will refer to are solutions which task is to cover the most important needs that a micro business might have on their system. The main goal with this research is to see if this is possible, and if so, how the developers should think to take it further. We chose to do this by identifying the most significant of needs a micro business has when it comes to this type of system solution.In this thesis we will present three needs which were evaluated and brought forth through the analyses of various interviews and observations we had done during the study. The interviews took place at respective company with their employees and consisted both closed and open questions with our main focus on the open questions because we wanted to obtain as much information from the respondents as possible from several viewpoints.

My work has been to create a magazine for iPad to explore this format, whichthere are mixed feelings about. Instead of seeing the digital format as an enemy ofthe printed magazine, I have chosen to see it as an opportunity.I have given myself the task of designing a magazine that can justify the useof the digital magazine. I have looked at the identity of the magazine, but mainlyexplored the format and its prerequisites.I was triggered to do the project when I saw people who are just making a pdfof the printed magazine and publish it digitally. This essay examines the Swedish debate on Internet hate with focus on theories concerning Internet as a public sphere, sociocultural turbulence and subaltern counterpublics. Examining material fromnewspapers, alternative news media and discussion forums, with an hermeneutical influenced method, the task is to understand the Internet hate debate, and the study wishes to discover its relations to biggercontexts, such as social transformations and power dynamics. The conflict evolves between the establishment (journalists, writers, politicians et cetera) on one part, and Internet ?haters? on the other.The examined theme also shows a conflict where the two combatants show not only two opposite views on what Internet hate is, but also shows two different conceptions of the world..

The aim of this thesis is to study how librarians in Swedish libraries perceive the task of mediating fiction. What are the librarians private relationships to fiction and how do they perceive the position of fiction in contemporary society? What views have they developed of the borrowers approach to fiction and how do they perceive the borrowers increasing influence in the library? How do librarians prioritise and which principles form the basis for their purchase of fiction? How do they categorise fiction in the library and how much do economic and political factors influence the decision making process for the purchase of fiction? Finally, how do they define their roles as mediators of fiction and which strategies do they adopt to communicate which literature the library has to offer? The material used in this study was acquired using a qualitative interview technique in which six librarians with experience of literature mediation partook..

This case study examined what impact the neurological disorder Asperger?s syndrome has on the line of reasoning about religion and spirituality. Also, the question of whether the four informants showed any tendency to use the cognitive tools calledtheory of mind (ToM), existential theory of mind (EToM) and hypersensitive agency detection device (HADD) or not was put forth. From the interviews five themes were extracted: a stereoscopical view upon the world, thoughts on physical causality, prayer used as one-way communication, spiritual agency and intentionality, as well as existential and social questions. These themes were subsequently matched with theories on ToM, EToM and HADD.

De tvådimensionella spelen har enligttradition inte haft någon dynamisk ljussättning, utan de har bestått utav färdig grafik medförutbestämda intensiteter vilket gör att spelen kan se platta ut.Men inom andra områden av spelindustrin, framförallt tredimensionella spel, har utvecklingen avdynamiska ljussättningsmetoder kommit långt. Problemet med dessa metoder är att de kräverobjektens normaler, vilka normalt inte finns tillgängligt i tvådimensionella bilder.Idag är mobiltelefonerna kraftfulla och klarar av mycket tyngre beräkningar än vad de gjorde förbara några år sedan. Därför undersökte vi möjligheten att implementera dynamisk ljussättning i etttvådimensionellt spel på androidbaserade mobiltelefoner. För att genomföra detta krävdes också attvi undersökte metoder för att generera normaler för tvådimensionell grafik.För att ett fullständigt spel skulle kunna skapas så implementerades också saker somkollisionshantering, artificiell intelligens och procedurell generering av banor..

In this master?s thesis the problem of simulating conditional Bernoulli distributed stochastic variables, given the sum, is considered. Three simulation methods are considered, namely the acceptance/rejection technique, Bondesson?s method and the Markov chain Monte Carlo method.To compare the three methods the bias and the standard deviations of the simulated variables are evaluated. The results of the simulation study shows that the Markov chain Monte Carlo method is not the best method for this type of simulation.

Inledning: För barn kan sjukhusvistelser och allt vad de innebär av undersökningar och behandlingar ofta uppfattas som hotfulla och obehagliga. Insättning av perifer venkateter och venös provtagning tillhör de ingrepp som barn uppfattar som mest stressfulla och smärtsamma. Det finns i dagsläget gott om evidensbaserade metoder för att lindra barns oro och smärta i samband dessa ingrepp men det är oklart i hur stor utsträckning dessa metoder tillämpas.Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka sjuksköterskans tillvägagångssätt vid venös provtagning och insättning av perifer venkateter. Utgångspunkten för studien är undersöka sjuksköterskans förberedelser av barnet, hur sjuksköterskan arbetar för att främja barnets självbestämmande, användning av distraktioner, farmakologisk smärtlindring samt hur barn och föräldrar bemöts av sjuksköterskan inför och under provtagning eller insättning av perifer venkateter.Metod: Venös provtagning och insättning av perifer venkateter observerades och registrerades efter ett egenutformat observationsschema. Observationerna gjordes på avdelningar och mottagningar på ett barnsjukhus.Resultat: 18 sjuksköterskor observerades i 25 situationer.

För att undersöka resursallokering av processresurser vid informations-bearbetning av hotstimuli har ett ?Dual Task? experiment utförts med spindelrädda försöksdeltagare. Uppgiften bestod av att respondera på olika probe-stimuli som exponerades, direkt på bilder av olika djur (däribland spindlar), med olika tidsintervall. Latens och träffsäkerhet mättes, för ett mått på prestation, och EKG användes för att kontrollera att spindel-bilderna faktiskt utlöste rädsloresponser. Resultaten visar att större processresurser allokerades till spindelbilderna jämfört med alla de övriga bildkategorierna, men att denna differentiering inte verkar ske innan en kognitivt kontrollerad bearbetning och utvärdering av stimulus ägt rum.

The task we were assigned by MPQ concerned the development of a scooter that can be used year round. We have with the companydeveloped the criteria and requirements for the product in which the goal is toproduce a primary solution that meets the set criteria and fall within the project'sboundaries.The project involves a wide range of different design methods for idea generationand idea development. The project also addresses engineering methods such asprinciple and primary engineering. The purpose of this study is to show the importance of task texts for students in grades 5 when solving mathematical problems. It was conducted in a class 5 (where the children are 11 years old). The pupils were assigned two different tests with mathematical problems; one where the problems were described in text and one where the problems were presented with numbers and mathematical signs. Previously done research, done on bilingual children, (Bernardo, 2002) shows that pupils tend to do better on mathematical tests when no text is presented. My research supports that theory even though the correlation is not that strong.
