Att beskriva och tolka några pedagogers upplevelser av sina långsiktiga arbeten ur genus-perspektiv, har varit mitt syfte med det här arbetet. Vad upplever de har varit av betydelse för att kunna hålla arbetet vid liv under längre period? Studien bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer av sex olika pedagoger på tre olika förskolor i en stad i Norrbotten. Samtliga informanter påtalar att ledarens stöd och engagemang har haft eller kommer att ha avgörande betydelse för deras arbete av långsiktig karaktär. Även kunskapen om deras eget förhållningssätt och att få syn på genusmönster i barngruppen har varit avgörande.

A study was made to evaluate how current measurementscould help to determine how particles from fish farms are dispersed. During sixweeks of the summer 2012, two different current measurements were conducted.One of them consisted of measurements each fifth minute at 5 m and 15 m atthree locations for 14-16 days each. The other consisted of profilemeasurements at each location at four times during the period of six weeks. Forthe current measurements two instruments (model RCM 9) were used. A two weekmeasurement can give enough data to make an evaluation of how the currents at alocation will transport litter from a fish farm.

The cost of construction projects have increased during the past few years. Different actors in the construction industry work together to advocate various measures to mitigate these cost increases. One of these measures is to try to improve the efficiency in the phase of production. By striving for a kind of standardization with a constant quest for improvement, the productivity can increase while the costs of production fall.For this thesis has a case study been conducted at the construction company JM AB which is seeking this. They call the approach structured production and have implemented various measures to achieve a more productive output.Based on information from reconciliations, the cost and the spent hours of craftsmen have been analyzed at the company where the case study took place.

This study is a qualitative investigation where surveys where performed on five Swedes from Lebanon. The purpose with the survey was to learn how these persons were affected by the war against Lebanon in the summer 2006, how they reacted to it and what measures they took to overcome their crisis. The result shows that the state of crisis of the interviewed persons was caused by several factors, such as the war being both unexpected and intensive. Other causes was the worry that their children would be hurt by the effects of the war as well as the material and human losses that the war brought.The interviewed persons responded with both negative and positive reactions, which may have affect their recovery process. Some of them where offered physiological support in Sweden by their municipalities.

The purpose of this study was to compile when and why piglets die during the suckling peri-od. Piglet mortality is an important factor influencing the profitability of piglet production. There are many factors that play a role and interact whit each other. This study summarizes when the piglets die during the suckling period and reasons why the piglets die. The infor-mation given is crushed, illness, management/environmental, genetic influence and piglet birth weight/farrowingprocess.

In this modern period, societal and religious groups are strongly divided regarding the acceptability of abortion. Despite so many attempts by various groups to find a middle ground, the debate on abortion still remains largely polarized, at its most dramatic point with the extreme conservatives claiming abortion to be the moral equivalent of murder and the extreme liberals see it as devoid of moral import. And this polarization is due to the legal battle that continues to shadow moral discussions. An acceptance of an ethical nuance will here play as a concession on the deeply contested question of whether abortion should be a legally protected option for a woman, and to an extent blame for the continued crudeness which can be laid at the doorstep of a moral theory itself. Apparently, the ethical literature on abortion has focused almost exclusively on the tiniest moral assessment on whether and when abortion is morally permissible.

The essay deals with hierarchies that occurs between inmates in prison. It deals with a theory that these hierarchies, when seen through a gender perspective, can be understood as a hierarchy where you are valued based on traditional male characteristics. Empirically, the paper consists of interviews with five inmates, or former inmates, who during a period in his life, has served a prison sentence at a closed institution. Based on the informants' statements, conclusions are drawn about which properties are valued low in the hierarchy. This becomes clear when the informants speak humiliating about sexually deviant groups, snitches, or sex offenders.

Some of the questions which are investigated in this thesis are: why did the State decide to introduce a PLR and why did it take about 20 years to make the decision? The question why the PLR was not introduced on a copyright basis is also discussed. The focus of this study is during the period of 1934-1956 and it is a literature-study. Mainly there are four reports made by different committees that have been examined.

This report is the result of several interviews of employees within the field of pedagogy. The background behind this report is my period as a trainee in one of the daily activities in Malmo. In daily activities the employers gets training, education and guidance in Marte meo, which is funded by public finances. The method, which this study focuses upon is called Marte meo. It is a method of communicating and developing the means for the participants to evolve their skills in communicating and increase self esteem.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how contemporary Swedish picture-books describe ethnicity. The analysis is based upon eight books that were published during the period 1996 to 2006. The thesis is based upon a qualitative content analysis and a model of analysis that has been constructed with inspiration from Maria Nikolajeva and Pil Dahlerup and their conceptions of analyzing literature. The study?s theoretical framework is primarily based on the sociology of literature and the perspective of the society in literature.

The aim of this study is to learn about the nineteenth century poor relief system, how itoperated in the rural parish Kristdala during the period 1881-1890, and not least, who was thesupported person? The poor are defined as the individuals that received public poor relief, but in onechapter this definition of poverty is contrasted with a definition based upon tax exemption:inability to pay taxes. Two villages have been selected for intensive study, namely Kroxhult and Calerum, and Calerum is the smaller one. The connection between age and the poverty ratio is clear, and tobe a lodger was especially disadvantageous with respect to poverty. Further the position ofwidow was the most unfavourable among the female poor people.

Denna uppsats i etnologi handlar om hur Zlatan Ibrahimovic framställs och beskrivs utifrån en speciell konflikt under hösten 2006 och våren 2007 i Aftonbladet och Expressen. Denna konflikt började med att tre fotbollsspelare i det svenska A-landslaget i herrfotboll gick på krogen en kväll och fortsatte sedan med att Zlatan sa nej till detta landslag under en period. Jag upplever det som att Zlatan får stå som symbol för mycket mer än bara fotboll i dagens Sverige, han får representera bilden av ?invandraren?, av utanförskap, av individualism, han kan också ses som ett bevis på att alla kan lyckas bli en stjärna.Media både bekräftar rådande svenskhet och skapar svenskhet genom att beskriva Zlatan.

Denna uppsats har avsett utreda och utvärdera huruvida avkastningen av en aktieportfölj, sammansatt utefter Benjamin Graham?s (1973) värdestrategi, har överträffat avkastningen av indexen OMX STOCKHOLM_PI och OMX 30 under en 20-års period med startpunkt i årsskiftet 1989/1990. Tidigare forskning kring värdestrategiers resultat indikerar att det historiskt sett varit möjligt att erhålla högre avkastning än marknaden vid användandet denna strategi. Den undersökta portföljens sammansättning är baserad på sju finansiella urvalskriterier som förespråkats av Graham (1973). Dessa urvalskriterier urskiljde sex bolag till den slutgiltiga portföljen.
