In Italy in 1528 the famous author Baldassare Castiglione published the book Il Cortegiano. In words Castiglione portraits the ideal courtiers and provides a lot of advice on how to achieve the ultimate courtier manner. For example he introduces and explains the words sprezzatura and grazia. His advice spread from Italy and influenced the courts around Europe. My purpose with this study has been two folded. Firstly, I have analysed Castigliones Il Cortegiano in order to examine his vision of virtues and ideals.

In relation to the development of IT-products it is very important that the software supplier is aware not only of the target group but also the field of application. Usability should characterize the whole IT-design process as, in relation to this context, design includes more than merely those aspects which are visible to and thus can be interpreted by the naked eye. The study examines the specific qualities and properties that substantiate the usability and the demands that a customer rightfully expects from an IT-product. The user and the customer are highlighted in the same context in order to demonstrate that it is through the customer that an IT-product is defined as being useful. Thus, from this perspective, the user and customer can be considered as being the same person.

Recent corporate challenges require effective communication in order to secure a company?s reputation. Companies as a result, need to be committed to a series of corporate social and environmental practices along with their financial commitments to their shareholders and investors. In fact, businesses are required to go above their ordinary operations and involve all potential stakeholders that can be affected by their strategies. Companies also need to communicate social, environmental and economic consequences of their activities along with their CSR commitments to their internal and external stakeholders in order to make a better corporate image and improve their market opportunities.

Syftet a?r att klassificera varje enskild bild som gynnande, missgynnande eller neutral.Teorin utga?r ifra?n klassisk kommunikationsteori. Vidare diskuteras bildens betydelse, verklighetsgestaltning samt medias demokratiska uppdrag, semiotik, retorik och ansiktsuttryck.Metoden a?r en kvantitativ och kvalitativ inneha?llsanalys.

Den svenska sjukvården har kritiserats för att vara ineffektiv och trots tidigare reformer kvarstår problemen. Managementidén värdebaserad vård utvecklades som en lösning på problemen och ämnar effektivisera sjukvården genom att sätta patienten i fokus. Eftersom värdebaserad vård är utvecklad för den amerikanska sjukvården syftar den här studien till att undersöka hur idén har tagits emot i en svensk sjukvårdskontext. Detta undersöktes på avdelningen för brännskadade vid Akademiska sjukhuset. Teorin om översättning användes för att analysera hur idén förändrats genom individernas egna tolkningar, och teorin om särkoppling användes för att utreda huruvida den planerade förändringen fungerat i praktiken.Resultat: Flera komponenter i värdebaserad vård hade tagits bort under planeringsstadiet, de flesta på grund av att det svenska systemets utformning inte medgav dessa förändringar.

This master thesis concerns the occupational safetyenvironment at Outokompu Stainless, Avesta Work.The study is of a sociotechnical approach wherehumans are involved and interconnected in the samesystem with technology and organisation. In order toreach the corporation?s goal of zero accidents with losttime injury, the work of improving and maintainoccupational safety and health has to regard behaviourand cultural aspects. The aim of this study is todescribe the safety culture at a specific production unitand research what work which has to be done in orderto change and improve the safety culture at AvestaWork.There are several opportunities for improvementpointed out in this paper and here are some mainresults presented. First and foremost, the concern ofsafety among blue-collar is often secondary due toproduction.

Studien undersöker hur könsfördelningen ser ut på den samtida konstscenen i Sverige. I vilken utsträckning kön representeras på ett jämställt sätt inom utställningsproduktion antas kopplat till hur de delaktiga i beslutsprocessen förhåller sig till externt jämställdhetsarbete. Tre kategorier av organisationer studeras för att kunna avgöra om det finns skillnader i tillvägagångssätt. Officiella dokument från varje organisation undersöks för att förstå hur de formellt förhåller sig till jämställdhetsarbete. Statistik av den faktiska könsfördelningen för varje organisation tas fram från de två senaste årens utställningsarkiv.

Syfte: Vårt syfte är att undersöka hur TBSB påverkar kundernas lojalitet inom dagligvaruhandeln. Metod:Efter att vi läste in oss på ämnena TBSB och lojalitet valde vi ut delar ur teorin där vi koncentrerat oss på lojalitet hos kunder i dagligvaruhandeln ur ett beteende och attitydperspektiv samt TBSB-faktorers påverkan på servicekvalitet och kundtillfredsställelse. Utifrån dessa två teoridelar har vi sedan härlett en sambandsmodell vilket utgör grunden för en rad testbara hypoteser som vi sedan utgår ifrån när vi gör analysen. Vi testar våra hypoteser genom att göra en enkät med kunderna som målgrupp. Enkäten har utarbetats efter teorin, sambandsmodellen samt de fakta vi erhöll från intervjun med en av Coops butikschefer.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att fördjupa kunskapen om och förståelsen för processen från delaktighet i en dysfunktionell familjesituation, präglad av en familjemedlems missbruk, till separation, frigörelse och integritet. Utifrån detta syfte ställdes frågorna: Hur upplevs processen från den påverkan som det innebär att leva tillsammans med en alkoholist till att frigöra sig och hitta sitt eget sätt att leva och hur kan man utifrån symbolisk interaktionism och teorin om spegeljaget fördjupa förståelsen av denna process?Som metod har används kvalitativ intervju med en kvinna som har levt med en alkoholiserad man. Uppsatsen belyser frågorna ur en social synvinkel och utgår från det teoretiska perspektivet symbolisk interaktionism som sätter fokus på interaktionernas betydelse. Teorin om spegeljaget visar på betydelsen av andras spegling för människans självbild.Uppsatsen kommer fram till att kvinnans liv på ett genomgripande sätt har påverkats av att leva i en relation med en man som missbrukar alkohol.

Den här uppsatsen försöker genom djupintervjuer med åtta respondenter att förstå om det finns några skillnader i nyhetsintresse och -konsumtion samt politiskt intresse och engagemang, mellan personer som växte upp i ett hem med och utan dagstidning. Om det uppkommer skillnader som inte går att koppla till om man vuxit upp med eller utan dagstidning ämnar den här uppsatsen också ge svar på vad de skillnaderna då kan bero på och utbildning finns med som möjlig variabel. Detta görs för att förstå om mediearv påverkar individers intresse och engagemang för nyheter och politik med en ansats i att nyhets- och politiskt intresse ligger till grund för en demokrati. Den teoretiska ramen består av teorin om kunskapsklyftor samt tidigare forskning om att internet kan överbrygga dem. Även kommersialisering av medier samt samband mellan dagstidningsläsning och demokratiskt engagemang gås igenom för att belysa olika personers olika utgångspunkter. Studien kommer fram till att de mest nyhetsintresserade och politiskt engagerade växte upp med dagstidning i hemmet och att den minst nyhetsintresserade och minst politiskt engagerade växte upp utan dagstidning i hemmet.

This paper illustrates the working conditions at the copper factory in Åtvidaberg during 1800-1890 from different views. The highest salary was given to the building contractor. Thereafter came in order the rust turners, the garmaker, the melter, the ore booker, the factory supervisor and the garmaker hand. Also the rest of the working conditions for different employees might differ from each other in this order. The mine workers generally earned a little less than the other workers at the factory, and especially the workers in the Bersbo mine.

The purpose of this study was to describe how journalists do research for their articles and whether there is a need to create a knowledge bank of the material that journalists use for writing these articles. I also looked at how knowledge management could be used at a daily newspaper to add value to the information used by the journalists. The thesis is based on four interviews with journalists, a literature review and a practical project. I helped a journalist with his information seeking and later tried to organize the material. This project gave me an understanding of how varying the material that journalists use is and how difficult it would be to try to organize it in order to create an organizational knowledge resource of the material.

The purpose of this degree project is to study if there is a intentional work with technology in the elementary school, preschool to fifth grade, in a municipality. The work will also study what conditions there are in the schools in order to work with technology. 95 questionnaires were distributed to the responsible teachers in all primary schools in the municipality, from preschool to fifth grade. The results of the survey show that more than half of the respondents do not consider themselves to work with technology in the school. The conditions, in order to work with the school subject technology in the municipality, are primarily external such as: material, facilities and the ability to divide students into smaller groups.

The aim of this master thesis is to describe some general trends and important steps in the Swedish university libraries user-orientation from the implementation of the university college reform 1977 until today. The aim gave rise to four further questions. Literature studies and empirical studies in the form of focusing interviews have been carried out, in order to answer the questions. Of the entire background material I have made a simple form of general analysis. I found that the libraries, during the years have interacted with the following four interested parties, the government, the mother organization, other libraries and the library users.

Gender is a universal factor that is unavoidable in classroom interaction between pupils and teachers. The principle aim of this essay is to illustrate whether, during the interaction between pupil and teachers still occurs behavior that expresses a gender order. We also want to establish if the ones who attract attention from the teachers is the individual, or if teachers still on a subconscious or conscious level, think of the pupils gender and ascribes him or her some characteristics or qualities. Especially we want to bring out the pupils thoughts and sights of there is a difference on how teachers treat boys and girls. Another purpose we wanted to achieve was to illustrate how teachers work with the concept of equivalence between the sexes, according to Lpo94.Our essay is built on our studies around what teachers think on how they treat the pupils, on the basis of gender perspective.
