Uppsatsen har som utgångspunkt att studera hur vår identitet som svensk idealiseras i film och då främst genom Lars Hallströms Mitt liv som hund (1985) och Colin Nutleys Änglagård (1992).Teorin som valts för analysen är identifikationsframställning genom Frankfurterskolans ideologikritik, Foucaults läror om diskurs, kunskap och makt samt identitetsbegreppet i sig och idenitetsframställning. Genom tillämpandet av teorin ges möjligheten att kritiskt granska och omläsa de ovan nämnda filmerna i en omfattande analys. Metoder för uppsatsens analys är en fördjupad närläsning och genomgående omläsning utav de två filmerna.Uppsatsen utgår även från två frågeställningar som blir besvarade i ett analysresultat och sammanfattning. Genom en näranalys av filmerna ges en möjlighet att se hur propaganda uppstår och verkar, då filmernas idealiserande framställning kan misstas och brukas som sanning. I analysernas reslutat framgår det även att svenskhet vilar på en grund av föreställd gemenskap där man genom att tillämpa Peter Norman Waages teorier ser att idenitetsframtällningen som nation grundas på det så kallade ?omvända kylskåpet?.Identitet sammanför på samma gång som det söndrar då det verkar med värme inåt och kyla utåt, likt ett omvänt kylskåp..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka repatriaters upplevelser av repatriationsprocessen. Fokus ligger på arbetsrelaterade aspekter i syfte att utvidga förståelsen för hur repatriaters upplevda relation till organisationen påverkar tankar om uppsägning bland repatriater. Teorin är uppdelad i fyra avsnitt. Repatriatens uppfattning om hemkomsten samt arbetsvillkoren efter hemkomsten. Som efterföljs av repatriaterna i hemorganisationen för slutligen redogöras för vad den normativa teorin har för goda råd till företag.

In family firms altruistic effects can arise in order to preserve the ownership of the firm within the family. The family firm may chose to carry or take measures against these effects. Regardless, it will lead to different agent costs. Therefore, the aims of the study were to explain how altruistic effects in family firms exert an influence on the administrative systems and possible counter measures.In order to explain the origin of altruistic effects, we built a theory which showed that the altruistic effects were followed by agent costs. The family can take measures to counteract these original effects.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of Swedish companies? use of corporate sponsorships as a tool for communication. The research describes motives and goals of corporate sponsorships, the selecting process and methods used in evaluating its effects. The empirical data has been colleted through interviews with two companies sponsoring athletics at a top level in Sweden. The study shows that the principal objectives and motives companies have with sponsorships are related to brand exposure, image improvement and relationships.

Uppsala University Library owns eight volumes of manuscripts attributed to the academy equerry Johan Leven Ekelund (c.1701?1775). In this thesis, I apply methods from the field of material culture studies in order to establish which of the volumes that formed the donation from Leven to the library mentioned in his will. By mapping certain markers such as places, names and dates I am able to identify to some extent where Leven gained his practical skills and which writers influenced him. By analysing the texts, I draw the conclusion that the manuscripts can be divided into groups aimed for different audiences.

This is a thesis performed at GEMS PET Systems AB in Uppsala. GEMS PET Systems AB is a company within GE Healthcare. GEMS PET Systems develops and manufactures equipment for manufacturing of radioactive isotopes for PET which is a scanner used in medical applications. The systems includes an accelerator of cyclotron type and other support equipment. One system is shipped in two or three containers depending on order configuration.

This thesis concerns agreements for the exchange of information relating to tax matters between Sweden and the previous tax havens Monaco and Liechtenstein. Monaco does not apply any tax on income or capital for individuals and Liechtenstein has strict bank secrecy, both aspects are supposed to be counteracted by similar agreements. The purpose is to investigate whether the entered agreements increases transparency and effective exchange of information in accordance with the OECD´s objectives in the area. Furthermore, is there any regulation in the agreements that can be seen as potentially loopholes to avoid the exchange of information and if so; may these loopholes be justified in any way?OECD believe that the tax havens favorable tax regulation is resulting in harmful tax competition and they identify lack of transparency and lack of effective exchange of information as the main reasons.

Syfte:Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka och kartlägga varför och på vilket sätt IAS 39 anses vara en komplicerad standard. Vi vill även undersöka bakomliggande orsaker till problematiken kring utformandet av generella principer för redovisning av finansiella instrument. Metod:Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod i kombination med en induktiv ansats. Strauss och Corbins resonemang om den grundade teorin har genomsyrat arbetet. Frågeställningar härledda utifrån den offentliga debatten har behandlats genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer.

The Swedish healthcare system is characterized by lack of resources and extensive hospital queues. In order to counter these difficulties the Lund University Hospital have introduced Lean Healthcare to the hospital organization. The purpose of this scientific paper is to study the relationship between the implementation of Lean Healthcare and the experienced motivation among the staff. This essay thereby intends to impart knowledge, which could be used on future implementations of Lean Healthcare at other hospitals. In order to fulfil the purpose of this essay a case study have been conducted at two wards at the Lund University Hospital in which qualitative research interviews have been the method chosen in order to gather data.

Det finns idag en osäkerhet över hur budgeten bör användas och hur den påverkar den offentliga sektorn. I den kommunala grundskolan är det rektorerna som fördelar resurserna inom deras skola och är ansvarig för att inte gå med underskott. Samtidigt måste rektorerna ta hänsyn till det uppdrag de har från staten där elever ska få det stöd de behöver. Studiens har som syfteatt undersöka budgetens användning och utförande inom den kommunala grundskola. I den teoretiska referensramen så förklaras budgeten och vilka skillnader som förekommer mellan offentlig sektor och privat sektor.

In this thesis, a transparent model of the human head has been constructed which was filled with a substance that represented the brain. This model was later crash tested. This was done in order to examine how a transparent model of the human head can be constructed to generate accurate data from crash tests. It was also done in order to examine how impacts on the front of the head can deform the rear of the brain. When a head is decelerating, the brain moves forward inside the skull and may hit the front of the skull.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore whether male kindergarten teachers perceive additional expectations from their surroundings (such as co-workers and parents). Furthermore, we aim to understand and explain how these expectations are related to gender norms and hierarchies in society, that is social constructions concerning what men and women should do and be like. In addition, the thesis aspire to understand and explain how these constructions relate to more specific social constructions about sexual molestations in kindergarten contexts and explore how these discourses influence male kindergarten teachers in their work including which strategies they use in order to cope with them.How do male kindergarten teachers perceive additional expectations from their surroundings?How do male kindergarten teachers perceive the effects and consequences of the social constructions about sexual molestations in kindergarten contexts? Do they use coping strategies in order to attend to the expectations projected on them, and if so, what kind of strategies? The thesis is based on a phenomenological approach and conducted through interviews with six male kindergarten teachers. The interviews were directed with an interview guide in hand while allowing for spontaneous input from the interviewee.

The saw blade producer, Håkansson Sågblad AB, patented in the U.S. a new blade profiledesigned specially to cut fish and meat. The most important advantage of that blade is that its teethare not set, therefore the material lost when cutting is really smaller. The special geometry of thatprofile made that nobody had found a proper way to produce it before.The goal of the outlined work is to develop a machine to produce these new blades in afeasible way.The research approach of the project can roughly be divided into three phases:1.- Invention and development of a proper distribution of blades to produce a big amount ofthem at the same time.2.- Research of the best production process to produce the blades.3.- Main design of the machine to produce the blades.In the Thesis these three points are carefully developed and studied in the form of the startpoint of a really bigger project. Some tests had been done in order to prove all the analytical ideasand the results obtained had been satisfactory enough to give Håkansson the start point of a bigbusiness.

           Bakgrund: Företagsförvärv har under den senare delen av 1900-talet uppvisat en stadigt uppåtgående utvecklingsriktning. För att minimera riskerna för ett misslyckat företagsförvärv genomför köparen en granskning av förvärvsobjektet, en så kallad due diligence. Syftemålet med en due diligence är att förvissa sig om att förvärvsobjektet inom rimliga gränser motsvarar det som köparen förväntar sig.Syfte: Att kartlägga om och i så fall hur, skillnader i utförandet av en due diligence föreligger mellan riskkapitalister och uppdragstagare. Identifiera huruvida det existerar ett gap samt hur det ser ut, mellan den normativa teorin och jämförelseobjektens utförande av en due diligence i praktiken. Förklara eventuella skillnader och gap med stöd av positiva teorier.Metod: I vår uppsats har vi använt oss utav ett positivistiskt synsätt och tillämpat ett abduktivt angreppssätt.
