For general information gathering has literature from well-known sources collected in libraries and through the Internet. It shows through the work that Peab has routines for experience feedback in the construction process, but that these procedures work in a small scale and the practical work experience feedback does not work at all. This is also something the construction industry in general also perceived as problematic. The questions in the report are of a wide scale and concerns construction errors cost, how the employees perceive that the company takes advantage of the skills and the mental stress in production line. The goal is to find how Peab Stockholm Building 3 will work on the experience feedback to allow for better productivity. In conclusion, the report author tries to demonstrate what can lead to increased productivity and improved work experience..

The construction industry hasn?t highlighted the quality in recent times which have contributed to the construction industry receiving much criticism in the field. The public sees it as an offhanded industry where errors and delays are common.The reason for this is considered to be primarily the lack of time, constant pressure to reduce costs and skills and the ability to communicate between the parties about what the correct quality really means. The industry has begun to realize that it must start setting clearer standards and that there are great opportunities for improvement.This report will give Peab an opportunity to develop their quality work.

The construction industry stands as one of the industries in Sweden where most employees tend to encounter accidents. At the same time, the Swedish authority of work environment estimates that there are large numbers of hidden statistics with accidents and incidents that never gets reported. To prevent accidents, the Swedish authority of work environment has decided that every company have to, beside report every accident and major incident to the authority of work environment, keep statistics and evaluate every incident that happens at their places of work.The people responsible for work environment at the Swedish building contractor Peab, believe that it is only a fraction of all incidents happening at their construction sites that actually gets reported. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reason why employees of Peab do not report incidents. By an inquiry and interviews with both craftsmen and office holders at Peab Bygg Öst 1, the employees? attitudes and knowledge have been studied and evaluated.The study shows that the craftsmen´s knowledge of incidents is relatively low.

Informationsflödet i hela försörjningskedjan, som består av Peab, Swerock och BASF, är bristfällig som enligt parterna leder till kapacitet- och ledtidsproblem i försörjningskedjan.SyfteSyftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur beställningsprocessen av betong ser ut i försörjningskedjan, samt att lokalisera vilka delar i processen som har förbättringspotential med avseende på information-, kapacitet- och ledtidsproblem. Även att undersöka vilken materialplaneringsmetod som är mest lämplig i försörjningskedjan under de nuvarande förutsättningarna och om någon förutsättning måste ändras för att en implementering ska vara genomförbar. Likaså är syftet att undersöka vilken inverkan den eventuellt nya materialplaneringsmetoden får på försörjningskedjan.SlutsatsDet återfinns förbättringspotential i försörjningskedjan med hänseende på informationsflödet. This final year project is made for Peab Jönköping and its target group is the construction industry. The main focus is the use of unutilized building material in the most economical and environmental-friendly way. Unutilized building material is here defined as material purchased for a construction project that for different reasons not has been used. The most important thing to find out was how much building material considered as being waste is actually useable material, and how much less it costs to use that building material instead of throwing it away.When this information was gathered a proposal on how to efficiently use the unutilized building material instead of wasting it was designed. Costs and incomes were investigated and the proposal suggested a storage area where Peab can store their unused building material.

Föreliggande rapport behandlar åsikter och inställningar om ackordslön på Peab AnläggningRegion Syd, Projekt/Infra. Synpunkter från hantverkare och tjänstemän har ställts motvarandra för att ge en objektiv bild av vad man anser om ackordslön.En förändring i anläggningsavtalet med SBAF, Svenska Byggnadsarbetareförbundet, harmedfört att den nya huvudlöneformen för anläggare ska vara ackord. Därför görs dennaundersökning för att ansvariga på personalavdelningen på Peab Anläggning Region Syd,Projekt/Infra, ska få en inblick i hur de anställda, som är involverade i produktionsfasen,uppfattar ackordslön.Undersökningen har gjorts genom enkäter och intervjuer med ett antal frågor gällandeackordslön. Frågorna har ett brett spektra och behandlar såväl arbetsförhållanden somlöneuppfattningar. De som medverkat i undersökningen har varierande erfarenheter omackord.SBAF menar att ett prestationslönesystem som ackord är det mest rättvisande och utvecklandeför hantverkarna.

Peab är ett av Sveriges största bygg- och anläggningsföretag. Division Väst är en del av Affärsområde Bygg och utför nybyggnationer och renoveringar i Västra Götaland och Värmland. Peab jobbar för att sänka byggkostnaderna för kunden genom kostnadseffektiviseringar i alla delar av byggprocessen. Som en del i detta arbete har företaget uppmärksammat inköpen. Idag saknar Peab en beräkningsmodell för totalkostnaden.

Fo?r att kunna ha?nga med i byggbranschen utveckling ga?ller det att vara konkurrenskraf- tig. Ma?nga byggherrar stra?var efter korta byggtider som ibland kan vara va?ldigt sva?ra att uppna?. Fo?r att kunna uppna? korta byggtider ga?ller det att hitta smarta lo?sningar och ett bra produktionssa?tt som i sluta?ndan ger ett bra resultat.

Implementeringen av tablets ämnade för inspektioner inom drift och underhåll av vägar har studerats och utvärderats med målet att fördjupa kunskaperna inom drift- och underhållsbranschen och skapa effektivare arbetsmetoder som gynnar alla byggprocessens parter.  Examensarbetet är utfört hos Peab på deras anläggningskontor i Sundsvall och implementeringen har ägt rum på deras driftområde Sundsvall som består av cirka 122 mil statlig väg där Trafikverket är beställare. Genom litteraturstudier, tester av tableten och deltagande observationer så har tabletens användbarhet och utvecklingspotential analyserats och slutsatser har dragits för att ge Peab feedback på deras innovation med ett antal förbättringsförslag. Utvärderingen blev ej fullständig då Peab inte hann införa tabletsen inom vägdriften innan de 10 veckorna för examensarbetet var avslutade. Att använda tabletsen inom vägdriften kommer att effektivisera inspektionerna med dels digital dokumenthantering och det viktiga införande av GPS positionering  i de fordon som utför inspektionerna. Detta kommer bli mycket smidigare än den tidigare arbetsmetodiken där i stort sett alla processer innefattande mycket onödigt pappersarbete. Peab rekommenderas fortsätta att se utvecklingsmöjligheter med tabletsen inom andra områden av vägdriften samt fullfölja utvecklingen av tableten för att få en användbar produkt. .

Jag utförde mitt examensarbete hos Peab på projektet Kiruna dammhöjning 2013. Peab hade entreprenaden på beställning av LKAB. Examensarbetet utgörs av flera delar. Dels fakta om maskinstyrning, avprickningsplan och statistik över maskinkontroll.Maskinstyrningen kontrollerades kontinuerligt i höjd och position. Jag studerade hur stora avvikelserna har varit på noggrannheten.

This thesis is ordered by Peab Sweden AB Regional Jönköping and concerns of warranty inspections.The intention is to work out a basis, which show the most common complaints is the warranty inspections, and make a small analysis on what causes them to be. The report also presents possible solutions to prevent the occurrence of defects. It also covers the issue of how the client looks at Peabs way to overcome the objections of warranty inspections. The report has the following issues:?What are the most common errors observed during the warranty inspection??What are the causes of complaints??What can be done to reduce the number of complaints??How the customer thinks that the complaints be addressed?Twenty-five Guarantee survey records from the projects Peab has done in recent years has been the starting point for the investigation.

In autumn 2010, the Division of Civil Engineering at the Swedish building contractorPeab made a campaign to increase the number of reported incidents. Informationwas sent to the branch manager who was responsible to enlighten the employees onthe establishment. The goal of Peab Division of Civil Engineering is to have at least 10reported incidents per accident that generate more than 8 hours absence. Therefore,it is important that the employees understand how the report system for incidentsworks. The number of reported incidents differs between regions.

Denna undersökning har tilldelats från Peab Anläggning i Uppsala. Peabs intresse är att undersöka hanteringen av oönskade jordmassor för att kunna minska den ekonomiska och miljömässiga belastningen. Förutsättningarna för att lyckas undersöka detta har skett med hjälp av intervjuer med anställda på Peab, samt genom läsning av det undersökta projektets förfrågningsunderlag. Det givna projektet som studerades är en vatten- och tryckspillvattenledning i Uppsalaområdet.De faktorer som står i fokus för undersökningen är den ekonomiska och miljömässiga faktorn. Dessa punkter har undersökts med hjälp av en kontroll av arbetstider och hanteringsmetoder som undersökts.
