Den första process som möter den akutsökande patienten på en akutmottagning är triaget, vars syfte är att bedöma patientens medicinska tillstånd. Att hänvisa en akutsökande patient till annan vårdnivå är ett komplext beslut, som ska fattas med kunskap, erfarenhet och med respekt för den enskilda patienten. Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjuksköterskornas upplevelse i hänvisningssituationen av akutsökande patienter, med Triagehandboken som beslutstöd. Metoden var kvalitativ med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Åtta sjuksköterskor på en akutmottagning i södra Sverige inkluderades i studien.

The transformation within the swedish infrastructure has been a slow process from thebeginning of time. For almost a decade, the traditional form of contracting regardingbuildings and foremost infrastructure has evolved contracting involving the owner to definethe outcome of the product, regardless involvement from the supposed contractor. This bachelor thesis focuses mainly oncontracting regarding design-build-operate-main (DBOM), the new contracting formulabetween the owner and the contractor.

Gastric ulcer is a common disease among pigs in the whole world where an intensiveproduction occurs. It is mainly the upper region, the nonglandular region of the stomach thatis affected. Gastric ulceration is a disease with several risk factors. The factor that seems tohave the largest impact on the development of gastric ulceration is a small particle size of thefeed. The reported prevalence of gastric ulceration differs from 5 to 100 % and it is a largeherd-to-herd variation.

Women ledaers and profitability, is there a correlation? Earlier research show different outcome on the correlation between women leaders and profitability. A Swedish consultant firm, Caran has a belief that more women leaders would create more financial profit, we ask us if that is the true situation. Using two different IC measurement methods we have shown the difficulties in calculate intagible resources, which methods that can/ can not be used and if women leders create financial value. We found the women leaders in Caran to add more value per dollar spent on the woman leaders than the value added per dollar spent on men leaders.

Today we spend a lot of time at our place of work. Changes in the Swedish labour market have caused illness for many people. This has contributed to that many people have been reported sick. The purpose with this study was to investigate and deskribe factors the staff, at a social insurance office, identify as important for health at a place of work. Ten employees at the social insurance office took part in the study.

Background: To wait on an emergency department is a reflected and well-documented problem. Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

Sjuksköterskor inom somatiken möter patienter med psykisk ohälsa i sitt dagliga omvårdnadsarbete. Syftet med studien var att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelser av omvårdnad av en patient som utfört suicidal handling och vårdas på somatisk akutavdelning/akutmottagning. Författarna använde sig av en kvalitativ metod med intervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Tio sjuksköterskor intervjuades som arbetade inom akutsjukvård och hade minst ett års erfarenhet. Resultatet bestod av fyra teman; svårigheter i omvårdnaden, känslor i mötet med patienten, resurser och samarbete med psykiatrin.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

Bakgrund: Cirka 70 % av alla kvinnor i världen har någon gång blivit utsatta för våld. Forskning visade att det fanns en rädsla hos vårdpersonalen för att ta upp problemet med kvinnorna. Vårdpersonal har ett ansvar när det gäller att upptäcka och identifiera våldet som kvinnan upplevt. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa fysiskt våldsutsatta kvinnors upplevelser av vad som kännetecknar en god vårdrelation. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie, detta med hjälp av 11 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Objective: From the patient?s perspective describe communication difficulties, which can arise, and how they are handled in their contact with public health care and illustrate their needs of communication.Method: A study of literature was carried out to receive a background and an insight in previous research concerning the subject area. Twelve women with hearing loss was asked to complete a questionnaire, with open questions, regarding communication difficulties in health care situations.Sample: For the literature review, scientific papers were selected via the database, PubMed using relevant keywords. Seven were selected for closer review. For the survey study twelve women were asked to participate which ten of those responded.Results: The study of literature shows that communication difficulties occur in public health care between patients with hearing loss and the nursing staff.

The legitimacy of the European Union is being questioned, and this has put focus on the democratic deficit, as the main reason for the negative outcome of the referendum about implementing the last initiated treaties of the union. In this essay the credibility of the problem solving strategy through the communication policy of the commission is being put under the scope. The objective is to treat the credibility of the solution to the main problems of the EU as an important part of how the democratic, political system works and how it deals with taking care of its? supporting and demanding channels of communication. The purpose of this study was to describe how adolescents aged 12-18 years with inflammatory bowel disease experience their illness and what coping strategies they use to manage their illness and improve their wellbeing. The method used was a descriptive literature study, and the result of the study included 15 scientific articles. Our results showed that IBD affected the adolescent?s everyday life and social life with friends, family and activities. The adolescents also reported that they experienced a feeling of vulnerability, altered body image and that they saw themselves as different from healthy subjects.

Visualization is a rapidly growing area of computer graphics. Due to the very progressive development of computer technology and especially 3D-graphic boards yesterdays imagination of visualizations, today is a reality. At Saab Bofors Dynamics in Linköping missile systems are developed. Through the development, different subsystems are simulated before the manufacturing starts. The results of these simulations have to be visualized to get a meaning.

Blood sampling is one of the most important diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine, and this is also true for avian medicine. A properly collected and handled venous sample can be used for serology, biochemistry and electrolyte analysis, as well as for blood smears, packed cell volume and cell differentiation. Caring for sick birds is a challenge for all veterinary staff. Many birds are easily stressed individuals, and to a very ill bird a big increase in stress level can even be fatal. Avian patients who are presented in a veterinary clinic are often in a poor condition, and blood sampling is an invasive procedure that can cause stress to the patient.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa kulturens betydelse för upplevelsen avsmärta. Metod: En litteraturgranskning genomfördes och artiklarna klassificerades ochkvalitetsbedömdes samt kategoriserades innan de slutligen sammanställdes. Resultat:Sjuksköterskor världen över var överens om att utbildning och kunskap kring andrakulturer är bristfällig i yrkesgruppen och att patienternas upplevelse i sin smärthanteringinte stämde överens med sjuksköterskornas uppfattning.
