Personlighet och objektivitet inom revisionsarbete : Har revisorns personliga egenskaper inverkan på förmågan att stå emot extern manipulation?

Objectivity is often emphasized as one of the fundamental principles for the auditing profession and is also a requirement for preserving satisfactory professional practice. The multiple company scandals in the first decade of the 21st century have created distrust for auditors? capability to maintain objectivity. The purpose of this study is to contribute with a new way of thinking when it comes to the factors that affect objectivity. Earlier studies have indicated that personality factors may affect work performance in many different fields and this study is exploring the connection between separate personality factors, and the capability of less experienced auditors to maintain objectivity in the relationship with dominating and demanding clients.Data was collected through a survey that was divided into two separate parts where the first part measured the participant?s score on different personality factors, and the other part measured the participant?s score on perceived objectivity.

This thesis treats how accountancy companies works to maintain customer relations. This is getting more important in the accounting business because there are several inner and outer factors available that may affect customer relations in this business area. The main question with the thesis is: How works accountancy companies with keeping customers?The purpose with the research was to investigate and identify which inner and outer factors that may be important from a company perspective to keep customers. Another purpose was to investigate if there existed any differences between the companies in how they are handling different factors like for example a law change and how it could affect customer relations.

Mötet mellan patient och sjuksköterska : en litteraturstudie om upplevelser hos patienter med diabetes typ II

Bakgrund: När en person söker vård för sin diabetes typ II sker ett möte med sjuksköterskan. Mötet mellan patient och sjuksköterska utgör grunden för att en patient ska kunna skapa tillit och känna trygghet i samvaro med sjuksköterskan. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur patienter med diabetes typ II upplever mötet med sjuksköterskan. Metod: En litteraturstudie som bygger på tio kvalitativa artiklar. Resultat: Genom analys hittades fem huvudkategorier: Att ta emot och förstå information, att ta emot stöd och bli motiverad, att våga känna tillit till sjuksköterskan, att vara delaktig i sin vård och att genom kommunikation skapa en relation med sjuksköterskan.

Background: Palliative care is a type of care, which does not cure but eases the suffering caused by the disease. The goal of palliative care is not to extend or shorten the patient's life, but to relieve pain and distressing symptoms and to promote the patients? quality of life (QOL). QOL can be understood as a subjective sense of happiness of existence, which means that the patient is experiencing life when her total life situation is consistent with her ??wishes.

Sjuksköterskors upplevelse av stress i arbetsmiljön

Studies have shown that stress is common in the nursing profession.Purpose: The aim was to investigate nurses' experience of stress in the work environment at the University Hospital in Uppsala and how nurses deal with this stress and whether the perceived stress experienced affect patient safety and in what way. Method: The study had a descriptive, qualitative design based on nine interviews. The selection criteria for the study was that participants were nurses and that they had worked at least one year within the profession and that they had experienced stress in their work environment. Data from the interviews was analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method by Graneheim and Lundman. Results: The analysis resulted in three categories: "Stress in the workplace?, "stress management" and "patient safety? and showed that all participants had experienced stress repeatedly in their workplaces.

Upplevelsen av Irritable Bowel Syndrome i det dagliga livet

Bakgrund: Forskningen har visat att humor är ett socialt fenomen som kan ses som ett universellt språk. Den har visat sig påverka en rad faktorer positivt, däribland vårdmiljön, relationen mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt patientens hälsa. Humor är inte enbart positivt i en vårdkontext, däremot finns det tillfällen då den bör undvikas.Syfte: Syftet är att belysa användandet av humor i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och patient.Metod: Examensarbetet är en litteraturöversikt där tio vetenskapliga artiklar valts ut, skillnader och likheter har identifierats och slutligen sammanställts.Resultat: Resultatet består av tre huvudteman: Humorns inverkan på avdelningens vårdatmosfär, interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt humorns effekter. Under huvudtemat interaktion mellan sjuksköterska och patient hittades två underkategorier: kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient samt förlorade tillfällen till humor. I huvudtemat humorns effekter hittades underkategorierna: humor som strategi samt humor som lindring.Diskussion: I resultatdiskussionen följer en diskussion där resultatet implementeras i Travelbees omvårdnadsteori, Human-to-Human Relationship Theory, men också hur ny forskning förhåller sig till resultatet.

Betydelsefulla faktorer för ensamkommande barn : En kvalitativ studie om faktorer som påverkar ensamkommande flyktingbarns liv

The aim of this study is to examine which factors in the receiving-country that have had an influence on three now adult unaccompanied refugee children. The method used in the study is qualitative interviews with the three above-mentioned participants. The results show that some factors are perceived as helpful, having a positive influence on the participants life while other factors are perceived as worsening, having a negative influence on their life. Depending on the context some factors such as age, the Swedish language and housing arrangements have had both positive and negative influences on their life. Positive factors are among other things: access to good treatment and support, help with processing trauma and bad mental health, help with understanding coherence, access to a social network, family reunification, resilience and other internal factors.
