Det är av stor vikt att vårdpersonal har goda kunskaper när det gäller bemötandet av kvinnor som blir utsatta för våld, eftersom sjukvården oftast är den första eller enda instans som kvinnan kommer i kontakt med. Det framgår enligt undersökning att nästan 50 % av alla kvinnor över 15 år har någon gång utsatts för psykiskt, fysiskt eller sexuellt våld av sin partner. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som påverkar vårdpersonals möte med våldsutsatta kvinnor. Metoden som användes var innehållsanalys av vetenskapliga studier enligt Burnard. Resultatet visar att viktiga faktorer som påverkar mötet är rädsla hos vårdpersonal, frustration och brist i kunskap när det gäller kvinnovåld och hur man skall kommunicera med kvinnan på ett tillfredsställande sätt.

The thesis work has been carried out at Volvo Aero Corporation (VAC) in Trollhättan. VAC has entered a partnership as developing and producing partner with engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney and is currently at the starting phase of producing the turbine rear frame (TEC) to the engine PW1000.The purpose of this study was to create a report on process level that describes the conditions and the potential with PW1000 TEC to reach the product cost calculation taking into account lead times and describe alternative method solutions.The report describes a comparison between the present flow (2012), a flow based on product cost calculation (2016) and a potential flow (2016). The work has mainly been based on acquiring the knowledge and information available to inspect the present flow; this has been done by workshop observations, meetings and gathering of the information that is available on the work site for the PW1000 TEC.The information obtained has been merged into an Excel document, called Roadmap. It serves as a roadmap with current situation as the start and the potential flow for 2016 as the goal. With the roadmap as a tool, assumptions have been taken considering the flow and how it will change, where processes have been eliminated, reduced or marked as a problem..

Kvinnor som genomgår en inducerad abort är inte en homogen grupp, utan var och en har en egen personlighet och historia som påverkar deras upplevelse. Syftet med studien var att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av sin inducerade abort. Metoden var litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades och analyserades. Resultatet visade att kvinnor upplevde negativa känslor i samband med sin abort, de vanligaste känslorna som uttrycktes i ord var; orättvisa, sorg, vemod, tomhet, ånger, upprördhet, depression, skuld och förtvivlan.

Globally, coastal ecosystems like mangrove forests, sea grass meadows and salt marshes are well known for their ability to capture and store atmospheric carbon effectively. In Sweden, there is still limited knowledge about local coastal ecosystems with similar functions, with alder swamp forests being an interesting example. Therefore, this study aimed to increase knowledge of the factors that can contribute to the potential carbon sequestering ability of alder swamps. Vegetation data and sediment samples were collected from a total of 37 sampling plots across four alder swamps in Bohusl?n on the Swedish west coast.

Mitt mål är att testa teorin som säger att krig beror på patriarkala köns-strukturer som konstruerar stereotypa maskuliniteter och femininiteter, vilka i sin tur definierar män som starka, aggressiva och känslolösa, medan kvinnor antas vara svaga, sårbara, och vårdande. Genom att undersöka och jämföra variabler i både positivistisk och konstruktivistisk forskning, söker jag likheter och skillnader som kan ge en vidare förståelse för hur detta fenomen är sammansatt..

The empirical data used for this master thesis, consists of eight manuals with the main purpose to help students evaluate information resources found on the web or Internet. The purpose is to elucidate the discourses and investigate those textual characteristics, which figure in the investigated manuals. The method used is a discursive and linguistic approach, with a power/knowledge discussion applied to the results. The analysis identifies, among other things, the production and consumption of the investigated texts, and that the manuals function as a reflection of the relationship between the participants in the situation, the sociocultural practice of the institution and its identity..

This is my thesis on the D-level at the university in Karlstad at the department for environmental science. It is an analysis of the idea of self-realisation in the deepecology movement.The Norwegian philosopher Arne Naess is one of the profiles in the foreground of deepecology in the world. His teories is important for the development of how to look at ecophilosophical matters in the nordic countries.i will therefor investigate his theories and see how Naess constructs the relation man-nature in his ecosophy T. The principle of self-realisation and identification is there the most important foundation for the antropocentric perspective.In my analysis I use Martin Bubers philosophy of dialogue and his thoughts about relational concept of the self as tools for my investigation.Ecophilosophy is an academic subject that touches a variety of fields of studies but has the collaboration between the subject of culture and nature as its base. Bubers concept of the self that highlights the third.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka copingstrategier som kvinnor med bröstcancer, deras partners och barn använde. De vetenskapliga artiklar som ligger till grund för litteraturstudiens resultat söktes på databaserna Elin@Dalarna, Wiley InterScience och PubMed. De valda artiklarnas vetenskaplighet granskades med modifierade versioner av Willman, Stoltz & Bahtsevani och Forsberg & Wengströms granskningsmallar. Resultatet av denna litteraturstudie visade att det fanns olika copingstrategier som användes för hantering av kvinnors bröstcancer. Flera studiers forskningsresultat visade att de copingstrategier som kvinnor med bröstcancer använde var religion, acceptans, att ha ett positivt synsätt, förnekelse, emotionellt stöd och undvikande.

The study?s purpose was to gain comprehension and knowledge about immigrate women?s vision on benefits respective disadvantages with arranged marriages.The study?s question at issues was:(1) How do the women consider that the ideal marriage is suppose to be?(2) How do the women experience that their vision on marriage has changed in a new culture?(3) How do the women consider that parents reasons, around the choice of a partner at arranged marriages?To be able to answer these questions at issues we used a qualitative method where interviews carried out with four immigrated women from four different countries where Islam is widespread religion. Common for these women is that they all are Muslims and that they come from countries where arranged marriages are practiced. They also have concrete experience of arranged marriages, either through themselves or someone they know.Material from interviews was analysed with a help of patriarchal theory and social constructivism. We have also analysed the material with a theory about culture and a theory about groups.

Today, about 15 to 20 percent of Sweden?s total emission of carbon dioxide can be traced to the household sector. By examining apartment blocks in a life cycle perspective, the origin of the carbon dioxide emission has been charted and analyzed. This information has been used to create a computational model that calculates the total emission of carbon dioxide from a specific apartment block. The results from the analyzed apartment blocks indicate that both the use of energy and the emission of carbon dioxide have been reduced since the 1960s. Through the examination of building materials, it is possible to lower the emission of carbon dioxide that origins from the construction phase of an apartment block.

The study aims to describe and analyse the relationship between norm and practice regarding social services casework on honour-related problems. The relationship between norm and practice involves the difference between the way it is intended that social workers shall operate in these cases and how they perceive that this works in practice. We interviewed two focus groups of eight Swedish social workers, four in each group. We also held an individual interview with a social services business developer. Focus group interviews were based on two vignettes; one depicting an honour-related case and the second an "ordinary" case.

När en person lever med ischemisk hjärtsjukdom, så påverkar det förutom den som har sjukdomen, också starkt dennes eller dennas partner. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva partners upplevelser av att leva med en person som har ischemisk hjärtsjukdom. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: Att ha störd nattsömn och vara känslomässigt påfrestad till bristningsgränsen: Att vara överbeskyddande och kontrollerande: Att sakna bra samarbete med sjukvårdspersonal och önska stöd i partnerrelationen: Att ha svårighet med livsstilsanpassning och längta efter det tidigare livet: Att med positiv inställning tillsammans genomföra livsstilsförändringar. Resultatet visade att partners inte blev sedda av vårdpersonal och de önskade mer kunskap om sjukdomen och professionellt stöd.

Sexualitet är en väsentlig del av människans hälsa och något som alla har rätt till oavsett ålder. Att tala om sexualitet med äldre människor upplevs ofta hos vårdpersonal som obekvämt och tabubelagt. Med ökad ålder kommer naturligt sjukdomar och åldersförändringar som kan påverka sexualiteten. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa äldre personers upplevelse av sexualitet. Studien baserar sig på 14 kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar och utfördes efter induktiv ansats.
