Barns rÀtt till förÀldrar eller förÀldrars rÀtt till barn? : En kvalitativ studie om riksdagspolitikers normer om förÀldraskap och familj i debatten om assisterad befruktning för ensamstÄende kvinnor och surrogatmoderskap

This study is based on how politicians? standars were represented in the debate about assisted reproduction of single women and surrogacy in Sweden. And also which arguments the politicians performed on both issues. The study was based on the protocol 2011/12:91 from the parliamentary debate in Sweden. The aim of the study was to examine political standards is identified according to parenting and family in the assisted reproduction and surrogacy debate.

FÄ pli pÄ dina barn : En undersökning av tankar om tillrÀttavisningar av barn i förÀldrahandböcker

This is an examination that investigates how parental guidebooks advise parents on how to solve conflicts between them and their children. The main purpose of this essay is to examine what these parental guidebooks say about rebuke. The following four questions will help to answer the main investigation. These questions are:What do different parental guidebooks write about rebuke?What do parental guidebooks consider to be the goal of rebuke?Which are the consequences of rebuke according to the parental guidebooks?Are there any clear patterns and connections that can be shown?To find an answer to these four questions, I have used eight parental guidebooks.

This case study examines how upper secondary schools in a municipality in the northern parts of Sweden structure their special pedagogy with students who have ADHD and dyslexia, students? and parents? experiences of this, and what regulates the schools management in this particular aspect. The results show that all the schools have special pedagogues and other support staff employed, though in varied extent. Furthermore, the resources are distributed differently from school to school. The focus, however, is always around communication between the concerned parties.

"Vi Àr starka, ÀndÄ faller vi som furor i stormen"- Hur förÀldrar till barn, ungdomar och unga vuxna med autismspektrum-tillstÄnd upplevt stöd frÄn vÄrd och omsorg.

Introduktion: FörÀldrar till barn med funktionsnedsÀttning Àr en grupp som i högre grad Àn andra förÀldrar lider av psykisk ohÀlsa i form av exempelvis oro och nedstÀmdhet. Det Àr utmanande för dessa förÀldrar att försöka överblicka och mobilisera de stöd och resurser som finns tillgÀngligt för deras barn. Forskning visar att bristande samverkan mellan olika professioner och vÄrdinrÀttningar samt bristande kunskap gör att det blir ytterligare utmaningar för dessa förÀldrar. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva hur förÀldrar till barn, ungdomar och unga vuxna med diagnos inom autismspektrat upplevt stöd frÄn vÄrd och omsorg.Metod: En kvalitativ design med intervjuer valdes. Datainsamlingen genomfördes genom autismföreningen i Göteborg dÀr förÀldrar till barn, ungdomar och unga vuxna med autismspektrumtillstÄnd tillfrÄgades.

Abstract (Engelska)The aim of this study is to investigate who is being emphasized, constructed and normalized as the addressee written for, in the text book ?Körkortsboken 2013?. Körkortsboken is used as the major textbook in the theoretical part of the education necessary to obtain a drivers? license in Sweden. Most people in Sweden obtain a drivers? license, sooner or later.

Studieval och yrkesval : En jÀmförande studie om elevers val pÄ Teknikprogrammet respektive El- och energiprogrammet.

The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that are affecting students at the Technology and Electricity- and energy programs in their choice of studies and vocation. The study is a comparative case study and quantitative method has been used in the form of questionnaires. The result shows that students do not like to be affected by another person but believes that they themselves have made their choice. Interest turns out to be the biggest influence factor of choice for both students at the Technology and Electricity- and energy program. For Electricity- and energy students have also access to work had some impact.The parents' education level was higher for Technician students and their parents worked with occupations requiring university degrees.

Barns perspektiv pÄ fritidshemmet och skolan : En kvalitativ intervjuundersökning om barns upplevelse av skolans och fritidshemmets samverkan

Who is integrating school-holiday home? It is for the teachers, recreational pedagogue or the students? How do the students think and act to keep the different activities apart?My purpose was to study how children sort the day between school and recreational home interactions. The issues were: How do they distinguish between the different activities during the day?  See the students their stay after school program as part of the school day? Who decides whether you have to go to school, and whether you have to go to after school program? And do you really have to?I have interviewed six students at an elementary school, based from a phenomenographic perspective, I've used myself of issues that students have been able to respond from a school perspective and after-school perspective. My interview questions have been comparative in nature, where the same question have given different answers depending on whether the question focused on school or the afterschool program.

?W? zh? ramla-le? : Om kinesisk-svensk kodvÀxling hos tvÄsprÄkiga barn i Sverige

This thesis focuses on Chinese?Swedish code-switching of bilingual children in Sweden. The purpose is to, through a case study, study what Chinese?Swedish code-switching looks like in daily conversations between bilingual children and their parents. Three main questions are formulated from the purpose of the thesis, foucusing on the types and frequencies of code-switching, the grammar of code-switching, and the motivation of code-switching.The linguistic material comes from voice recordings of naturally occurring conversations between three children and their parents, which are transcribed afterwards.

The purpose of this study was to examine social workers working process in social assistance with focus on the childÂŽs perspective. We were interested in learning about the existence of variations in approach and attitude between two municipalities. Question to be answered about what methods and approaches used by social workers to include the childÂŽs perspective in the process of social assistance. Another question to be answered about what the manner in which social workers took into account the childÂŽs perspective when the families apply for social assistance in relation to the operations and requirement. To fulfill the purpose, qualitative methods were used.

JÀmstÀlldhetens inverkan pÄ förÀldrars tid med sina barn

One purpose of our study was to investigate if equality in work time and parental leave in a relationship affect the time that parents spend with their children. Our first hypothesis was that increased equality in work time and parental leave leads to a reduction of the parents? total time with their children, ie the children spend more hours in pre-school and begin pre-school earlier. In order to test our hypothesis, we investigated the relationship between the woman?s and the man?s work time and parental leave and the time that the children spend in pre-school as well as at what age they began pre-school by using two surveys.Our study showed a significant coherence between both working women?s work time and the children?s time in pre-school as well as women?s parental leave and the children?s age at start in pre-school.

"Barn gör inte som vuxna sÀger, barn gör som vuxna gör..." : Skolpersonalens tankar om hÀlsofrÀmjande insatser och preventionsarbete - studie av en skola.

The aim of this study was to investigate how school personnel work with preventive and health promoting efforts to motivate young people to achieve interest in physical activity and nutrition awareness. Further the aim was to describe the possibilities and difficulties that school personnel experience in their work.  The research questions were: How do school personnel describe their health promoting work at school? In a health promotion perspective, what efforts do school personnel think is important when it comes to nutrition and physical activity? What possibilities do school personnel experience with health promoting efforts? What difficulties do school personnel experience with health promoting efforts?The study has a qualitative approach in which seven individual interviews were conducted with personnel at a secondary school. The respondents worked with different aspects which broadened the perspective.

The purpose of this study is to examine discourses about norms and norm criticism regarding sex/gender and sexuality in preschool teachers? and nursery nurses? speech using a post-structuralist perspective. My two research questions are:How do the educators describe norms in general and norms about sex/gender and sexuality in relation to their work?How do the educators describe their work with norm criticism in relation to norms about sex/gender and sexuality?The theoretical base of this thesis is feminist post-structuralism and queer theory. Qualitative interviews were used as method to gather material and then a form of discourse analysis was made based on the transcribed interviews.

Familjelycka? : En litteraturstudie om förÀldrars upplevelser av Postnatal depression.

Postnatal depression (PND) is a condition which affects about 8-15% of recent parents. The cause of PND is unknown but several underlying factors have been purposed through different studies. This descriptive literature review aims to illuminate the parent?s situation when the mother is affected with PND. In search of literature, the databases Medline (via PubMed), Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES and SweMed+ were used.

UppmÀrksammas fosterförÀldrarnas egna barn vid en familjehemsutredning?

The purpose of this essay was to look into whether any attention is paid to the biological children in foster families when the investigation about foster home is made. I did some qualitative interviews with six foster home-investigators, working in five different municipalities. Some of the main questions have been: Do the investigator meet the biological children during an investigation? Are the childrenÂŽs opinions taken into consideration? Is the suitability of a foster home judged even from the biological childrenÂŽs perspective?It was shown that it could happen that a foster home was not approved, if it for some reasons should be a negative experience for the biological children, if a foster child would be placed in their home. All the six persons in my interviews thought that it is important to take the biological childrenÂŽs opinions into consideration, and that the family is not suitable to be a foster home if not all of the family members have a positive attitude.

Är alla förĂ€ldrar lika vĂ€lkomna i förskolan? : En studie i hur samkönade förĂ€ldrapar upplevde deras barns start i förskolan

The purpose of this study is to see a display on how family, gender and sexuality are produced in four same-sex parents? stories about their children?s pre-school start. The question formulations that have been used were aimed to find out what expectations and concerns parents may have on the pre-school organization, if the parents have any saying regarding the organization, if the pre-school have worked with equality and how they have been treated as a family. The method used is a qualitative study based on interviews. Four lesbian women have been interviewed on their experiences of their children?s pre-school start and after finishing the interviews the content has been analyzed from different viewpoints found in the material.
