The purpose of this paper is to examine how the target to convert the Swedish military aviation industry towards working within the civilian sector was planned and implemented parallel to the target of building a world-class military aircraft. A number of Government bills have been studied, bills directly connected to the JAS-project as well as bills dealing with civilian project ?s for the military aviation industry. The first group includes bills dealing with the JAS-project ?s role in the overarcing defence policy, as well as the Government ?s bill specifying the guidelines for the JAS-project.

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has lately gained popularity throughout the globalized world. Swedish retail industry is no exception. Though increased levels of explicitly claimed responsibilities of companies, a number of other facts points out a development that contradicts this trend. Labour conditions and forms of employment is substantially retrograding, with an increased level of insecurity characterizing the Swedish retail labour market. At the same time, almost all Swedish retail companies explicitly state claims on social responsibility.

Detta leder till att den globala transporten av hästar ökar vilket i sin tur ger en förhöjd risk för spridning av sjukdomar och infektionsämnen. Några av dessa infektionsämnen är afrikansk hästpest, ekvin influensa och ekvin virusarterit. Afrikansk hästpest är endemisk i östra och centrala Afrika, den sprids med hjälp av mygg av arten Culicoides spp. Det har setts att sjukdomen kan spridas mellan länder exempelvis vid import av zebror. Det finns ingen behandling mot afrikansk hästpest, men det finns vaccin.

AbstractBuilding Information Model/Modeling/Management (BIM) is a tool that allows for efficient working methods. BIM saves time and money while providing the potential for visualization. This method of working is based on a 3D-model, and then a fourth and fifth dimension are connected. 5D modeling means that a spreadsheet creates cost estimates based on the 3D model. This provides opportunities to carry out calculations in the early stages of the projects. Calculations are currently performed manually and do not contribute to the development that the construction industry requires.

Volvo Cars in Skövde manufacture and assemble Volvo engines. When attaching the ignition coil to all 4-cylinder engines, a special mounting tool is required. This mounting tool is currently manufactured from injection-molded polyoxymethylene (POM), a thermoplastic. It has been noted that the life span of the tool is shortened as a result of abrasive wear that occurs during the attachment process of the ignition coil.An investigation of the possibility of manufacturing the mounting tool with a 3D-printer is undertaken in cooperation with ÅF, a consultant to Volvo Cars. A literature study is first presented to introduce broader knowledge on the subject.

During the last years, the importance of sourcing in firms has increased. Globalization, fierce competition and an increased level of outsourcing are common explanations to why firms have highlighted the potential to realize savings and the value creation that the Purchasing department can generate. One trend that follows in parallel with globalization is an increased pressure from society on firms to take responsibility for the impact that its products and services have on the environment. This responsibility creates even more attention as outsourcing involves trade with suppliers in low wage countries, where the level of environmental and social responsibility is not always satisfying. The Purchasing department, the firm?s interface with suppliers should therefore, together with the firm?s Environmental department, play a key role in the firm?s contribution towards sustainable development.

Malmö has often been described as a segregated city, with relatively low democratic participation and high poverty and alienation. Behind this kind of statements we often find a material reality, with unequal distribution of assets and potentials that needs to be taken into consideration for political action. At the same time this categorisation of people into different groups can take stigmatising effects and result in increased inequality.I find the theoretical basis for my thesis in Lefebvre?s writings on ?the right to the city?, that shortly means that all inhabitants of a city have the right to take active part in the constantly ongoing process of producing and reproducing the city ? on all levels, from a hands-on everyday life level to a more abstract political level.With an interdisciplinary approach, where the right to the city is discussed in relation to citizenship, presence, representation and public space, I try to understand the connections between democracy, participation, justice and equality. These discussions are then applied to examples from Malmö; both publically initiated projects and individual physical markings in the city.

Tractors of today come equipped with a CAN-system. A CAN-system sends information from sensors to electronic control units who process the signals. The sensors measure several interesting parameters such as force, pressure and speed for various components of the tractor. This thesis discuss a force sensor which is placed in the pivot of the tractors three point linkage, the sensor measure the horizontal reaction force from the load that the tractor is exposed to. Signals from this sensor can be used to measure the force from any implement that the tractor is exposed to during an operation.

Glulam?s position at the Swedish market for building constructions has been established over the past decades. Factors affecting glulam demand are found both in global and national contexts as well in customer attitudes and knowledge of the material. Arguments for environmentally friendly and sustainable construction processes and energy-efficient designs are nowadays common, which is something that should motivate increased usage of wood as a renewable material. For the glulam industry to increase its sales, improve profitability and thereby gain market share in present competitive climate, reliable market information and updated market intelligence is required.

Det svenska samhället har under lång tid varit väldigt elberoende och detta beroende har inte minskat trots politiska intentioner i den riktningen. Syftet med denna uppsats har uttryckts i två delar. En del var rent empirisk där det skulle undersökas om Sverige är beroende av andra länder i sådan utsträckning att det utgör ett hot mot statens säkerhet. För att uppfylla det syftet skulle uppsatsen behandla kopplingen mellan energi och säkerhet. Den andra delen av syftet var teoretiskt och skulle testa i vad mån neorealismen och interdependensteorin hade något förklaringsvärde vad gällde att skönja energibehovets konsekvenser för en enskild stat.

Nya utländska dagligvarukedjor med främmande varumärken och lägre priser har etablerats på den svenska marknaden under de senaste åren. Genom egen import och i vissa fall inköp av partier kan de hålla priserna nere och på så sätt skapa konkurrenskraft mot de etablerade butikerna och orsaka påtvingade nedskärningar för dem. Detta har i sin tur kommit att hota deras överlevnad. Då de etablerade butikerna innehar kända varumärken, till skillnad från flertalet nyetablerade, är det i deras intresse att se om konsumenter är varumärkeslojala eller vad som får konsumenter lojala. Detta leder oss in på denna uppsats problemformulering; Vilka faktorer är viktiga för att skapa lojalitet till produktnamn hos konsumenter inom den idag hårt konkurrerande dagligvarubranschen?Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom en enkätundersökning analysera hur viktiga varumärken är för konsumenter vid inköp av dagligvaror samt undersöka vilka faktorer som skapar lojalitet hos dessa.Undersökningen visar att flertalet respondenter anser att varumärket är viktigt vid köp av dagligvaror.

Delia flies (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) are economically important pests in several horticultural crops. The control is commonly relying on chemical insecticides, though there are possibilities with biological control from the natural enemies in the field. An important natural enemy is the parasitic wasp, Trybliographa rapae Westwood (Hymenoptera: Figitidae) that lays eggs in the Delia fly larvae. The parasitoid larva and the host larva have a parallel development until the host dies within its puparium and an adult parasitoid emerges. The aim of this thesis was to understand the attraction to host- and food-associated plant volatiles of T. rapae, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the parasitic wasp as a biological control agent.

Att underhålla ett stort system som redan är ute hos produktanvändaren ställer krav på utvecklarna, både i anpassningsförmåga och att snabbt hitta lösningar på funna problem. Här gäller det rapporteringssystemet Paid som används av det norska företaget Gramo. För att hitta nya lösningar och förbättringar så fick jag i uppdrag att gå igenom Paid systemet. Med fokus på funktioner som används vid import och matchning mot databasen.Programmet har tidigare inte givit tillräckligt bra rapporter på vilka fel som uppstått och var de inträffat. Även hanteringen av fel har inte varit tillfredsställande då programmet tidigare avbrutit hela processen och inte kunnat hantera fel separat.

Företag x fungerar som en knytpunkt ur ett logistikperspektiv på orten och här sammanstrålar mycket av godsflödena som kommer eller avgår med båt. Stora delar av exportflödena består av stål och trä där stora importflöden i huvudsak består av kaffe och olja.Nulägessituationen är som sådan att det är en ojämn fördelning andel importflöden med container jämfört med exportflödet. Skälet är att vi befinner oss på en plats med mycket tillverkande industrier som exporterar varor ut i världen. Resultatet av detta är att andelen import via Företag xs containerterminal är 25% jämfört med 75% i export. Ett problem som uppstår i samband med detta är att tomma containrar måste skeppas till Företag x för att möta den, i nuläget, större andelen export.
