Att arbeta evidensbaserat innefattar både ett förhållningssätt och en process, vilket ställer krav på den enskilde arbetsterapeuten att kontinuerligt ompröva olika arbetsmetoder. Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa arbetsterapeuters kunskap om och attityd till evidensbaserad praxis. Vidare att undersöka vilka hinder som angavs och förslag till lösning av eventuella hinder för att arbeta evidensbaserat. Metoden litteraturstudie användes och artiklarna valdes utifrån systematisk litteratursökning. Tio artiklar, publicerade 2000-2005, från fyra olika länder granskades avseende olika aspekter av evidensbaserad praxis.

The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

När idrottare hamnar i en svacka kan de vända sig till en idrottspsykolog och det är den processen studien utgår ifrån. Studien avser att undersöka upplevelserna som sker vid mentala idrottssvackor hos både idrottare och idrottspsykologer, och därigenom sker en jämförande studie. Urvalet har bestått av fyra idrottspsykologer och tre idrottare. Materialet har samlats in via intervjuer som sedan kategoriserats i gemensamma kategorierna: mentala svackor, livshändelser, prestation, rådgivning, bakomliggande faktorer, generella övningar, mental träning, spänningsnivå, koncentration, visualisering, mål, självförtroende och självbild, rutiner och planering samt framtiden. Resultatet visar på att arbetet som sker vid mentala svackor är en individuellprocess med utgångspunkt från varje idrottares egen tolkning och arbetet med mål är centralt för både idrottspsykologer och idrottare.

Research shows that there is a lack of knowledge of adult students with ADHD. Most of all research focuses on children with ADHD in school. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of how adult learners with ADHD experience academic studies related to cognitive difficulties, emotion, motivation, and their experience of SOC. The questions tried to determine how any cognitive difficulties and emotions are perceived, how students' motivation to study impacted and their experience of SOC based on studies in higher education. To answer the purpose and questions used qualitative interviews based on three students with ADHD using a hermeneutic method.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study the organisational culture of two public libraries managed differently. One of the libraries in my study is run by the local bookstore and the other is run by a staff co-operative. My aim is to elucidate characteristic features in the culture of these two public library organisations. The questions I posed are which types of organisation culture can be identified in the two given examples and what the factors are that may be of importance for these cultures.

Background: An effective management of the healthcare's organization on one disaster site is considered as a condition in order to decrease damages and suffering at them as been hit of an accident. In KAMEDO-reports is described true accidents, how among other thing organizational parts been implemented and evaluations of which importance different decisions had. Aim: The aim of the study was to examine KAMEDO-reports concerning prehospital medical management on disaster sites. Method: Eight KAMEDO-reports was examined with focus on organization and management. Results: Four areas in which all could be influenced by the healthcare personnel in leading position was described: Management and Co-operation, Load and Go - Stay and Play, Priority and Triage.

Syftet med studien är att skapa en förståelse för hur en byråkratisk organisation arbetar för att på en och samma gång vara såväl regelstyrd som deltagaranpassad samt hur detta påverkar individerna som deltar i verksamheten.För att uppnå syftet har det utgåtts från följande frågeställningar:  Hur upplever deltagarna samarbetet med konsulten?Hur ser Arbetslivsresurs metod för arbetet med deltagare i omställningsuppdrag ut?På vilket sätt individanpassar konsulten mötet med deltagarna? För att uppnå syftet har kvalitativ metod tillämpats. En intervju har genomförts med en konsult på Arbetslivsresurs som bland annat arbetar med omställningsuppdrag samt har intervjuer utförts med åtta deltagare som medverkat i omställningsuppdrag i anslutning till Arbetslivsresurs. Resultatet visade att konsulten i samtalet med deltagarna använder en arbetsmetod som utgår från individen. Vidare visade resultatet att samarbetet medfört positiva upplevelser för deltagarna samt upplevde deltagarna ett individanpassat bemötande i stor utsträckning. .

IKEA is probably one of the most well known Swedish companies in the world. During thepast decades millions of people all across the globe have decorated their homes according tothe style of IKEA. But just exactly how big and influential are they? Many, if not to say all,municipalities in Sweden wants IKEA to establish and build their famous stores in one oftheir towns. But at what cost? When deciding on a municipality to establish in, IKEAnormally tends to have an advantage when it comes to controlling the conditions and terms ofthe establishment.To undertake this dissertation I use a theory based upon the inter-organizational theoriescalled resource dependency theory.

Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka om det finns skillnader i attityder hos de arbetsgivare som har anställt personer med funktionshinder, jämfört med de arbetsgivare som tog emot personer med funktionshinder som praktikanter, i grupperna över sex månader och under sex månader, samt om arbetsgivarens attityd har påverkat längden på praktiken? Metoden var kvalitativa intervjuer med sex arbetsgivare som varit i kontakt med Misas dagliga verksamhet. Resultatet visade framförallt att störst skillnad i attityd, mellan intervjupersonerna som anställt personer med funktionshinder och dem som tog emot praktikanter med funktionshinder. Arbetsgivare som anställde personer med funktionshinder hade mer tillit och förtroende för personen och ansåg att personer med funktionshinder kunde uppfylla deras krav, samt att lönebidrag var största anledningen att anställa personer med funktionshinder. Arbetsgivarna som tog emot praktikanter med funktionshinder trodde däremot inte att personer med funktionshinder kunde uppfylla arbetskraven samt fungera väl utifrån alla faktorer som är viktiga på arbetsplatsen.

The unemployment rate in Sweden is increasing even though there are more and more municipal activation policies established. The activation policies aim is to decrease the unemployment but that is not yet happening. This problem has led us to go through with this study.The aim of this study was, from an organizational perspective, to examine and describe how the interaction works between the Municipal Employment Services, Employment Office and Social Services in a Swedish medium sized municipality. Special focus was upon the legitimacy of the Municipal Employment Services.  This study was based on nine semi-structured interviews with managers and employers within the organizations in this study.

Syftet med denna kvantitativa studie var att undersöka om kvinnliga studenter hade sämre självkänsla och rapporterade mer stress och psykisk ohälsa än manliga studenter, samt att jämföra skillnader i självkänsla, stress och psykisk ohälsa vid två olika institutioner. Undersökningen avsåg också pröva om självkänsla och stress predicerar psykisk ohälsa. En enkätstudie genomfördes på 79 studenter från Institutionen för psykologi vid Lunds Universitet och ekosystemteknik på Lunds Tekniska högskola. Med hjälp av skalorna RSES som mäter självkänsla, USSQ som mäter stress, samt GHQ12 vilken mäter psykisk ohälsa, konstruerades en enkät.Resultaten visade att de kvinnliga studenterna upplevde mer stress än de manliga, men rapporterade inte sämre självkänsla eller högre psykisk ohälsa. Det fanns inte några skillnader mellan studenterna vid de båda institutionerna i fråga om rapporterad självkänsla, stress och psykisk ohälsa, och inte heller någon interaktionseffekt mellan kön och institution vad gäller dessa variabler.

This master?s thesis will try to describe the beginning and development towards a modern public library of the town library in Karlskrona between 1906 and 1959. The specific years refers to the year the library was established and the year it moved to the new library building in the centre of Karlskrona. The aim of the thesis has been to do this historical description and to look at the course from the perspective of the national policies and development for the Swedish modern public library. The thesis is based mainly on reports of the proceedings of the public library and other biographical documents and literature, which has been found in two local archives.

I vår studie har vi kommit fram till att det inte finns någon entydigt och klart svar på våra frågeställningar. Vårt exempelföretag Previa visar och mäter att kundens investering ger effekt genom ett unikt kommunikationsverktyg som heter Hälsoeffekten. Verktyget fungerar så att företagets alla siffror förs in i ett system som ger en överblick av företaget. Previa kan sällan garantera att den önskade effekten av investeringen verkligen uppstår, det vill säga att den kommer företaget till del. Det föreligger vidare ett problem att kunna bevisa att förebyggande insatser kommer att ge effekt, eftersom det ibland inte kan påvisas att problem i framtiden kommer att uppstå och då inte heller åtgärdas.

This thesis presents an analysis of a conversation between a therapist and her client. Through a study of the conversation's topics and structure I have been able to draw conclusions on how the therapist governs and steers the session. With the use of certain tools, such as introductions of topics, invitations, paraphrasing and explorative questions, the therapist presents the frames of the conversation. At the same time, though, she invites the client to state her point of view and correct the views imposed on her through, for example, formulations from the therapist. I in my study I have used the methods of Conversational Anlaysis (CA) com-bined with quantitative methods such as calculating the frequency of a phenomenon.Throughout the thesis I have compared my results with the results presented by Ulla Melander Marttala in her dissertation Content and perspective in doctor-patient conversa-tions.

Organizations today face changes continuously as the society, the surroundings and the technology change. The information technology used in organizations has become essential, where intranets are a big part of it. Many organizations embrace social intranets, and these kind of changes has an impact on the members in the way they work, handle information and communicate. As many organizations and the members in it face new kinds of changes, they also face new kinds of challenges. This paper presents an interview study at Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner in Piteå, whom are about to go through a change process unlike any other change they have ever gone through before.
