Kunskapsöverföring inom studentnationer : En kvalitativ studie av Uppsalas studentnationers överlämningsarbete

AbstractThis study examines how knowledge transfer works within the student nations of Uppsala. The purpose is to describe and analyze how the knowledge is transferred when the officials are being exchanged within the student nation. Furthermore the purpose is to explore if the student nations work active to preserve the knowledge and how it is done in such case. Eight out of Uppsalas thirteen nations are part of the study and the survey was conducted by qualitative interview. The study mainly assumes from Argotes theories on the organizational memory, Davenport and Prusaks theories on knowledge transfer and Nonaka and Konnos SECI-model. The study reveals that the student nations work in different ways and more and less active with knowledge transfer.

Konsten att få pengar för sin idé : En kvantitativ analys över framgångsfaktorer på Kickstarter

Crowdfunding har de senaste åren haft en kraftig popularitetsökning och med detta har en samhällsdebatt väckts, därmed även det vetenskapliga intresset för crowdfunding, dess strukturer samt underliggande dynamik. Mollick utförde 2013 en av de större studierna i området med syfte att studera vilka kvantitativa faktorer som var avgörande för ett projekts utfall. Studien landade i slutsatsen att dessa framgångsfaktorer kunde kategoriseras enligt Kvalitet, Nätverk samt Geografi. Med utgångspunkt i Mollicks resultat ämnar följande studie att studera kategorierna Kvalitet och Nätverk samt utvidga Mollicks modell genom att samla data från 200 projekt, studera dessa med hjälp av 13 variabler, skapa sex modeller och vidare pröva modellerna med hjälp av linjär regressionsanalys. Studien landade i slutsatsen att en utvidgning av Mollicks modell var möjlig med hjälp av variablerna Uppdateringar samt Belöningssteg..

Problem: The great interest towards the company?s values has contributed to it becoming more common for individuals to seek out organizations that have a strong corporate culture. Where you work and whom you work for has thus become the dominant factors instead of what you are working with.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how the corporate culture, the rational and emotional benefits are experienced by the employees of the company. The aim is also to examine whether the corporate culture can become a management control measure by good communication between employees within the organization.Methodology: The essay is based on a qualitative research method and empirical data were collected through interviews from the company MTR Stockholm.Theoretical Frame of reference, Edgar Schein, Three Levels of Culture, Seven dimensions.Results: The study has shown that there are different cultures within the company. But also that there is a strong corporate culture within the business, the respondents feel an affinity with working within the underground rather than working for the company MTR Stockholm..

Trots coachningens popularitet har det forskats lite om vad coachningen bidrar med. Sustainability can be part of the overall company strategy but could also define the entire company. This study has shown that the main motive for working with eco-labelling is a genuine interest in issues concerning sustainability. The purpose of this essay was to further develop the discussion around the street-level bureaucrats and the dilemmas that they meet in their work environment. The paper will try to accomplish this by putting the spotlight on the professional role, the organizational control of the street-level bureaucrat and the effect of society on the work environment. Something that also will be discussed is the well-known difficulty of implementation of new programs and methods, especially when street-level bureaucrats are involved. The street-level bureaucrats that this paper focuses on are caseworkers within Försäkringskassan and handle benefits and take decisions about the need for rehabilitation for people who are ill and unable to work.I have used a qualitative method for this study. The empirical material consists of six interviews at two different offices.The main cause of the dilemma of the street-level bureaucrat is that there is a conflict between the human side and the professional role.

Denna uppsats handlar om stress och dess upplevda orsaker hos den svenska polisen. Uppsatsen utgår från en enkätundersökning som behandlar olika bakgrundsfaktorer till upplevd stress bland anställda vid de svenska polismyndigheterna. Både poliser och civilanställda deltog i undersökningen. Bland annat undersöks organisatoriska och individuella orsaksfaktorer. I undersökningen deltog 107 personer som genomfördes med en internetbaserad enkät.

Work gets more seamless and the demand on workers increases because of changes in the labour market. Studies show benefits for workers and companies if the employee achieves a balance between work and family, a way to facilitate it is family-friendly policies. A study done by Unionen shows that three out of four white collar workers choose to vobba (working and caring for a sick child), which blurs the boundaries between work and family. Research on flexibility, organisational culture and gender structures shows how these aspects affect the balance between work and family. This is a study where seven white collar workers (three men) that vobbar and two managers (one man) were interviewed.

The purpose of this work is to find out how present manager contracts are set up in Landstinget Västmanland (the county council of Västmanland), explore managers? perception of these contracts and why managers have chosen leadership. The work has also reviewed the question if managers need to have a relationship or expertise to the activities they lead and which qualifications are needed in such case. The survey was conducted in two divisions in which nine interviews were held with managers at all levels. In addition to this a questionnaire including the 87 managers in the divisions were held.

Creativity and innovation have become two very important concepts in today?s society where the demand for these abilities are sought after. At the same time, the school system of today follows a more traditional outlook on what learning and knowledge means.The extend students ability to understand and elevate their motivation is possible through creative methods of working. In order to create a school system which can withstand the demands of the future by including creative methods in its model, a study was carried out to examine how teachers? thoughts on creativity could mean for its development.This study took place in an elementary school in Sweden where Entreprenöriellt Lärande (EL) has been in use for the last two years.

Knowledge management på en dagstidning

The purpose of this study was to describe how journalists do research for their articles and whether there is a need to create a knowledge bank of the material that journalists use for writing these articles. I also looked at how knowledge management could be used at a daily newspaper to add value to the information used by the journalists. The thesis is based on four interviews with journalists, a literature review and a practical project. I helped a journalist with his information seeking and later tried to organize the material. This project gave me an understanding of how varying the material that journalists use is and how difficult it would be to try to organize it in order to create an organizational knowledge resource of the material.

Samverkan- den vite riddaren? : En kvalitativ forskningsstudie om myndighetssamverkan mot trafficking

The purpose of this study was to examine how the authorities in Sweden collaborate when it comes to discourage trafficking for sexual purposes. More specifically the aim was to find which directives and problems the work of the individual authorities constitute in and how does it affect collaboration with other authorities. The study was based on interviews with six respondents, which have experience working within this field. Three themes were identified: what is collaboration, different perspectives, regulatory frameworks and different fundamental values within the organisations. The study concluded that collaboration is affected by several factors such as the absence of knowledge about trafficking for sexual purposes and the laws which regulate confidentiality, difficulties in defining collaboration as a concept and the authorities different ideas about what have to be done in the context of discouraging trafficking for sexual purposes.

Att samverka innovativt vid uppbyggnad av nätverk : En fall studie om Högvarv det växande varumärket i samverkan

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka faktorer som är viktiga att tänka på och hur de kan genomföras på ett innovativt sätt vid uppbyggnad av nätverk? Högvarv är en företagsmässa som arrangeras för att minska glappet mellan studenterna vid Mälardalens högskola och näringslivet. Författarna anser att små förändringar kan gynna organisationen, genom att låta förändringen träda i kraft får man möjlighet att se verkligheten ur en annan synvinkel eftersom allt förändras kan människan se på problem med andra ögon och ge individen en ny grund att stå på och ett nytt sätt att uppträda på. För att organisationen ska kunna utvecklas fullt ut bör organisationen lyckas med att motivera sina deltagare. Det är betydelsefullt för varje framgångsrik organisation att ha syften om att hitta medverkande krafter som gör det möjligt för de deltagande att bli motiverade i sin aktivitet.

Innovationsprocessen : från förnyelsebart material till produkt

Det pågår idag en diskussion om klimatfrågor i världen. Ett uttryck för detta är målsättningarna inom EU inom ramen för teknologiplattformarna för skogsindustrier och deras Strategiska forskningsagenda, samt den motsvarande svenska Nationella forskningsagendan. Dessa är båda dokument som understryker att man bör arbeta för att utveckla fler nya material som är förnyelsebara för att kunna ersätta gamla materialtyper. Denna rapport ämnar belysa vilka faktorer som påverkar möjligheten till lyckade innovations-projekt inom skogsindustrin för förnyelsebara material. Studien genomfördes som en fallstudie av innovationsarbetet i samband med materialet som är kommersiellt känt som Durapulp och ägs av skogsföretaget Södra. I korthet är materialet en cellulosabaserad massa med en inblandning av bioplast vilket ger materialet goda beständighetsegenskaper samt innebär att materialet är förnyelsebart.
