Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine different organizations' views on their communicative crisis work. The study will analyze organizations' crisis prevention efforts, its views on the crisis of accountability in relation to stakeholders and to work for a crisis to be elucidated. In order to delineate the study focuses the investigation on various train organizations. Then the concept of crisis is something that circulated widely in the train sector in recent years.Theory: This examination has chosen to use the theory Situational Crisis Communication Theory. It is an empirically tested theory of a collection of different strategies.

Unhealthiness is not just a damaged back or asbestos. The fact that mental ill-health seems to increase in our society is well known. Statistics from Arbetsmiljöverket proves a fourfold increase of work-related disorders since 1997. These are primarily caused by organizational and social factors, 60% are considered caused by stress and a heavy workload. Sick leave due work related fatigue and depressions are scarily common today.

Collaboration is a tool many organizations use to achive a certain goal. In previous research it can be read about both advantages and disadvantages of collaboration and also that a well-functioning collaboration is difficult to achieve. In previous research there is a shortage of scientific researches illustrating the outcome of collaboration. I have chosen to examine the cooperation between the social services and schools of the municipality of Växjö. The purpose of this essay is to understand what experiences staff working with children/young people in school and social services have of collaboration between each others organizations.
Bland ambassadörer och varumärken : En kvalitativ studie av svenska universitets kommunikationspolicydokument
The aim of this thesis is to investigate in what way Swedish universities regulates its internal and external communication by the use of policy documents. The purpose has led to three research questions: what scope of communication is given to the documents user, if the document is challenging or redefining the current means of power, and how questions regarding trademark is taken into consideration. In order to achieve the purpose a discourse analysis is used as both underlining theory and comprehensive method. The underlining theory is based around social constructionism, structuralism, poststructuralism and critical discourse analysis. The analysis have taken emphasis from Norman Faircloughs three-dimensional model in which the documents have been studied on three separate levels.
Product Development Processes in the Nordic Paper Packaging Companies : an assessments of complex processes
It is important for firms to continually develop their offerings as the business landscape develops in order to sustain their competitiveness (e.g. Schumpeter, 1934; Ansoff, 1979; Porter, 1985; Trott, 2012). In a context of globalization, rapid technology development and changing customer needs, the paper packaging industry is urged to enhance its product development activities (Hansen & Niskanen, 2007; Björkdahl & Börjesson, 2011). However, there is little research about paper packaging firms? product development processes (ibid).
Förändringen som kom av sig: En fallstudie av kommunikationens roll i en förändringsprocess
This study takes place within a publicly owned art producing organization and dwells on the problems of a change process that the organization was involved in. Both leaders and staff were disappointed by the way the change process had developed. The management team explained the outcome by referring to the uniqueness of working with artists who constantly put their own personal objectives before the benefit of the whole. The aim of this study is to find a complementary explanation to the one the management team provided us with; an explanation that can help in the understanding of the dynamics of a change process. Can perhaps theories on information, communication and change processes give an alternative explanation to why the change process faltered? To investigate this, we have used a qualitative single case study.
Peer-to-peer som företagslösning
Problemområde:
Idag är användandet av peer-to-peer (P2P) - applikationer såsom KaZaa, ICQ och
Seti@home utbrett bland privatpersoner. Användningen inom företag är dock ännu
i sin linda.
Vi kommer därför i den här uppsatsen utreda om ett eventuellt införande av P2P-
teknik i ett företagsnätverk ger några fördelar jämfört med en klassisk
Client/Server-lösning.
Hypotes:
Arbetet bygger på hypotesen: ?En P2P-lösning ger fördelar för företaget
jämfört med en Client/Server-lösning?
Genomförande:
För jämförelsen mellan P2P och Client/Server definierades och jämfördes fem
områden: Säkerhet, Användbarhet, Tillgänglighet, Bandbredd samt
Utrustningskrav.
Slutsats:
Inom områdena Användbarhet och Tillgänglighet ger en P2P-lösning klara
fördelar, däremot inom områdena Säkerhet och Bandbredd visar Client/Server-
lösningen istället klara fördelar. Området Utrustningskrav är oavgjort då det
inte
finns någon märkbar skillnad på lösningarna.
Säkerhetsproblemen är P2P-teknologins akilleshäl och det problem som är mest
troligt att stoppa stora investeringar i framtiden om det inte löses.
Slutsatsen av vår jämförelse blir sålunda:
För ett företag som redan har ett existerande Client/Server-nätverk är det inte
någon idé att helt byta system, däremot kan det vara av intresse att
introducera en applikation som möjliggör skapandet av så kallade Virtuella
Nätverk.
För ett helt nytt företag kan skapandet av ett P2P-nätverk vara ett väl så
intressant alternativ till Client/Server.

The method used to meet the objective was qualitative. The qualitative study was conducted with a hermeneutic basis, where individuals were asked to describe their experience of empowerment and how they feel affected of it. This thesis has a deductive approach, where existing theories dealing empowerment formed the basis for the design of interview substrate, which is then paired with the empirical evidence, based on this the conclusions was drawn.Result & Conclusion:What separates the different kinds of empowerment and how it affect the staff depends most of all on how the management chooses to communicate and share information with their staff.Suggestions for future research:A study regarding managers that works with different kinds of empowerment, and how that affects them, could be regarded as an interesting future research.Contribution of thesis:It shows that different kinds of empowerment affect the staff in different ways, which I made clear to the readers.Keywords:empowerment, thinking skills, relations and organizational - structure and theory.

AbstractLean production has become one common concept within industries to make the work more effective and to meet today?s hard competition. A challenge for Chinese production is the threat from new low cost countries. It will become very difficult to succeed to produce to a lower cost than these countries; this led to that Chinese companies must develop new strategies, according to Lee and Zhou (2000). This will put China in front of new challenges and new strategies can be needed to retain their strong competitive advantages.
Pratbubblan: den röda tråden : En studie av Karlstads Stadsnäts visuella kommunikation
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Karlstad City Fiber Network visual elements in the form of a pair of speech bubbles fit into the organization's holistic external communication and branding. The study examines whether Karlstad City Fiber Network image of the organization and the speech bubbles match the stakeholders view and how the visual elements are perceived and recognized by stakeholders. The theory associated with the study is theories of corporate visual identity, image, identity and branding and visual communication. These three elements are important to be aware of when a generation of an effective external communications. Qualitative interviews with employees at Karlstad City Fiber Network and Karlstad municipality has undertaken to give an idea of ??what the organization wants to achieve and what their opinions are.
Att hålla det balanserade styrkortet levande : En fallstudie i Locum
Syftet med studien är att utifrån lärandet och de förändringar som hittills skett i styrkortsarbetet beskriva och analysera hur Locum håller sitt balanserade styrkort levande. Forskare inom styrkortsområdet framhåller att styrkorten kontinuerligt måsteuppdateras för att kunna spegla företagets situation. Lärandet anses vara en förutsättning för förändring, därför inriktas studien på hur förändring och lärande i företaget håller detbalanserade styrkortet levande. I den teoretiska referensramen har en cirkelrutin för förnyelse av det balanserade styrkortet tagits fram utifrån befintlig teori inom området. Den kvalitativa studien omfattar datainsamling i form av interna dokument,årsredovisningar och fyra semi-strukturerade intervjuer med medarbetare på olika nivåer i Locums organisation.

AbstractIn this study eight caregivers, all with long experience from working in nursing homes for people with dementia, were interviewed. The aim of the study was to describe the caregiver?s experiences in caring for people with dementia and Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia disorder. Data were processed by qualitative, inductive, content analysis. The results were presented in four categories: To connect, Two days are never the same, Being calm and giving time and All are needed. The result showed that caregivers met a variety of difficult and varied tasks in nursing.

This research is based on the observation that people in the service industry is being replaced by technology. This insight formed a foundation for the presentation of the problem this essay is based upon. We began to speculate over how tourist information bureaus handle the changes, regarding information technology, in their surroundings when their main task is to inform and communicate with their market. Information technology has created new possibilities for organizations to reach their consumers and it has influenced all kinds of industries. We decided to examine organizations in the tourism sector because it is one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the world. The entering of information technology in the tourism industry has changed its structure and we want to examine how tourist information bureaus succeed to deal with this phenomenon.The aim with this essay is to examine how and to what extent tourist information bureaus integrate with changes in their surroundings caused by information technology and which values that slip away/ is added by the adaption.

Today Internet is clogged up and packed with homepages and information from both private persons and commercial companies. This has led to a decreased availability for a company to be noticed. The most common tool for consumers to use while searching for products online is via search engines. But because of the nature of these, not all companies can have good placements. Our research question was, "How do small online-companies attract consumers to their website"? The purpose of this thesis is to identify how a company works through online-communications and how to attract consumers to their home page.
