ABSTRACT Poverty, and in particular child poverty, is a serious social problem. Statistics show that the number of children living in poverty has increased over the last ten years. Earlier research shows that there are huge gaps in our knowledge of how the actors in civil society handle child poverty. With this study we hope to help fill this gap. The aim of our study is to look at how four different organisations working in the civil society in Uppsala perceive and handle child poverty.

Den tid som patienter vårdas på sjukhus blir kortare och kortare vilket gör att ansvaret förflyttas till familjen. Detta ställer samtidigt krav på sjuksköterskan i mötet med familjen. Syftet med denna kvalitativa intervjustudie var att belysa sjuksköterskors föreställningar om och erfarenheter av familjen och familjens roll i vården. Sex individuella intervjuer genomfördes med sjuksköterskor på två medicinska avdelningar och intervjumaterialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. I resultatet framkommer det att sjuksköterskor inte har en enhetlig definition av vad en familj är och betraktar familjen både som en resurs och ett hinder.

Bland det viktigaste vid en omorganisation är att kommunikationen fungerar väl. I en offentlig förvaltning finns det två led av ledning där kommunikationen måste fungera. Syftet med denna studie är att ge ökad förståelse för internkommunikationens påverkan på effektiviteten i förändringsprocessen och att visa på viktiga faktorer när det handlar om kommunikation vid omorganisation där det finns två led av ledning. Med effektivitet menas att förändringen genomförs snabbt och smidigt så att medarbetarna och de som verksamheten är till för inte far illa. Studien är en kvalitativ fallstudie med inifrånperspektiv i en kommun där forskaren själv varit aktör.Studien utgår från ett tolkande hermeneutiskt synsätt och forskningsstrategin är abduktiv.

The aim of this study is to explore if and how library managers market their competence in communication with local politicians. It is also our aim to find a definition of the competence of librarians. The report identifies and describes problems and possibilitieswith marketing of competence to politicians on the basis of one Swedish municipality's library managers. In order to fulfil this aim we have used a literature study on marketing, competence, the political process and the librarian profession. We have alsocarried out an empirical study where we interviewed ten library managers in onemunicipality, seven politicians in the same municipality and ten representatives for central professional organisations mainly in Sweden.The results are that most library managers don't market their competence because they don?t believe in marketing competence.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how small organisations within the subject field health and training work with their environmental scanning. The main questions in this thesis are: How do the organisations work with business intelligence/environmental scanning? What is their environment like and of which parts does it consist? How extensive is their work with business intelligence/ environmental scanning? Which are their main fields of application and how is the work compiled practically? In order to answer these questions we have chosen to use a qualitative method, which in our case consists of two interviews with people in managerial positions within the health and training subject field. The result of the two interviews is presented in a compilation, and it is thereafter discussed and analyzed. We used an existing theoretical model and altered it in order to correspond to the aim of this research..

Social workers in this study describes various experiences of the assessments of interventions for children and adolescents. Social workers experience of the many different situations where an assessment of best effort must be made on the basis of BBIC, which is the Social Services investigation records. To make this assessment, the Social workers need social assistance and support of their colleagues and manager. Knowledge mixed with experience is also an important part when it comes to being professional and not let emotions control that could otherwise be happened when the social worker meets and builds relationships with clients. Social workers are also those who will decide which achievement the client needs from the needs.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur barnkonventionens artikel 12, barns rätt att komma till tals tillämpas i familjebehandling genom att göra en pilotstudie. Familjebehandlare inom kommunens öppenvård fick svara på hur de gjorde barn delaktiga, på vilket sätt barn kom till tals och ifall det fanns tillfällen när barn inte skulle delta i familjebehandlingen. För att få svar på dessa frågor gjordes en semistrukturerad telefonintervju. Den valda teorin var systemteori.  Studien innefattade även familjebehandling, barnkonventionen och BBIC.

Detta är ett examensarbete utfört inom ämnesområdena informationsteknik och interaktiva medier, inom utbildningen Medie- och kommunikationsteknik vid Linköpings universitet ? Campus Norrköping. Arbetet handlar om hur man skapar en gemensam webbplats för en kommunal organisations olika enheter. I arbetet tas problemet upp med att hitta ett sätt att representera olika delar av en verksamhet på Internet så att denna återspeglas på korrekt sätt i förhållande till vad som är den faktiska kärnverksamheten, och hur man gör för att införliva information och funktioner från äldre webbplatser med sinsemellan olika publiceringssystem så att information och funktion interagerar, snarare än står i konflikt med varandra. I arbetet behandlas inte bara de tekniska svårigheter som kan uppstå, utan även de rent gruppdynamiska problem som komma upp till ytan vid en sammanslagning av flera tidigare autonoma enheter.

Detta arbete är tvådelat och syftar dels till att genom tematisk analys av den genererade empirin svara på frågan: Varför små och medelstora företag arbetar med Miljödiplom i Jönköpings kommun? och dels till att genom diskussionen belysa resultaten av denna analys och med utgångspunkt i Luhmanns sociala systemteori problematisera: Hur små och medelstora företag tolkar och arbetar med miljöfrågan på olika sätt. Empirin har insamlats genom kvalitativ intervjumetodik bland företag i Jönköpingsregionen som har viss koppling till miljöledningssystemet Miljödiplom, ett alternativt MLS enligt den s.k. Göteborgsmodellen. Genom den tematiska analysen visade resultaten på att de studerade företagen tolkar sitt miljöarbete genom ekonomiska incitament där insikten om att företaget måste arbeta med miljöfrågor kommer genom intressenters påverkan på verksamheterna.
