Många människor lockas av utmaningen att bilda familj och bli föräldrar. Denna C-uppsats handlar om hur politiker och tjänstemän anser sig kunna säkerställa funktionshindrade människors möjlighet att kunna välja och fullfölja föräldraskap och vilket samhällsstöd som erbjuds. Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ metod nämligen halvstrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjuerna visade att detta var ett område som det inte har forskats eller pratats om i någon större utsträckning. Intervjupersonerna har inte arbetat med frågeställningen trots att flera av dem varit engagerade i handikappolitiken.

Animals in zoos live in small enclosed areas. If a pathogen is introduced to the zoo, the animals are extremely vulnerable. The highest risk of introducing new pathogens occurs when new animals are introduced to the collection. Therefore it is essential that zoos have a protocol in place for disease prevention. This review has studied literature on the subject of disease prevention protocols when translocating animals between zoos.

The purpose of our essay is to study the institutional-, demographic and accounting theoretical factors that influence an organisations actuarial commitment.The research was performed through a web based survey, with complimentary telephone interviews, directed to companies listed on Stockholm Stock Exchange A- and O-list on the 30 of November, 2003.Our data was analysed with a Median test, Kolomogorov-Smirnov test, T-test and a Mann-Whitney test. The purpose of the Mann-Whitney test was the low number of respondents that took part in the research. The Kolomogorov-Smirnov test was done to determine whether the population variances was equal or not. The data showed that organisations with a majority of female employees assume a lower salary increase, and a higher average age than other companies with a male majority. Only 2 of 11 hypothesis can be accepted as temporary truths but several other visible relations are indicated in our research, but can not be statistically proved.We think that the major problem with our is the time it was performed.

Studien syftar till att öka förståelsen kring institutionella mekanismer, styrsystem och work passion i symbios till varandra. Genom att förklara de institutionella mekanismerna bryter studien ner den kulturkognitiva pelaren i form av det kända fenomenet kring isomorfism. Vidare redogör studien för hur isomorfismen kopplas mot en organisation och huruvida man ställer sig till den styrform som förekommer. Studien redogör även för work passion som är ett fenomen som föreslår att individens tillfredsställelse är viktig för en organisations välmående och funktion (Vallerand 2012). Dock utelämnar work passion medel som styrmodeller och affärsidé.

The management of assets in organisations today can be a challenging task and optimising their usage is critical to ensure maximum profit. For rental businesses offering tangible products efficient management of movable assets are an essential part of the business strategy. The main purpose of this study is to investigate how asset management and asset information management can be carried out in rental businesses and in what ways information technology can support it. By doing a literature review combined with a case study where three rental businesses and their use of information technology were examined we could identify several important aspects regarding asset information management. The results we have found is that rental businesses with a high degree of digitization in existing asset information management systems are able to rationalize existing work processes, which in some ways changes the roles of employees.

This thesis analyses ideas of gender in the Swedish radical right. The aim of the study is to see if there are any differences or similarities in the way gender is being formulated by a populist radical right party as the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna), the extreme right party, Party of the Swedes (Svenskarnas Parti) and the extreme right movement Swedish Resistance Movement (Svenska Motståndsrörelsen). Ideas of gender are presented in the theory chapter which is used later on in the analysis to compare with the radical right organisations of Sweden. To fulfil the aim we have performed a comparative ideological analysis between the three organisations and the base for our analysis is texts from each organisation?s webpage.

Undersökningen utgår från åtta specialpedagoger som arbetar inom förskoleverksamhet i olika kommuner. Vi har med hjälp av intervjuer undersökt deras syn på och möjligheter att arbeta utvecklingsfrämjande på förskolorna. Genom detta arbete vill vi kunna bidra med kunskap om den specialpedagogiska kompetensen och utvidga användningen av den i skolutvecklinsfrågor i förskolan..

Forskning har påvisat ett samband mellan personer med neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder och kriminalitet. Aggression Replacement Training (ART) som förebyggande arbete har visat sig vara effektivt i syfte att reducera brottslighet. Tillämpning av metoden är dock inte vanlig avseende personer med neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder varför det inte finns mycket forsk-ning på området.Syftet var att utifrån systemteori med fokus på Bronfenbrenners socialekologiska modell samt kognitiva behavioristiska teorier och social inlärningsteori teori beskriva och studera den ART- träning som ingår i grundsärskolans undervisning på Engelbrektskolan i Örebro kom-mun. Utifrån att en ny målgrupp med särskilda behov har identifierats är det angeläget att erhålla information om metodens eventuella effektivitet.Författarna har valt att basera det empiriska materialet på kvalitativa intervjuer. I avsnittet empiri presenteras relevant material kring ART-träningen på Engelbrektsskolan.

PROBLEM: En demografisk förändring i form av en ökad kulturell heterogenitet har på kort tid ägt rum i Sverige liksom i många andra länder. Idag har nästan 2 av 9 miljoner invånare i Sverige invandrarbakgrund. När företag arbetar med marknadsföring förbises ofta betydelsen av skillnader i form av språk och kultur som följer grupper med invandrarbakgrund. SYFTE: Syftet med uppsatsen är att skapa hypoteser rörande om företag i sin marknadsföring kan använda specifika strategier för att nå individer och grupper med invandrarbakgrund på den svenska marknaden. METOD: Den övergripande metoden som använts är en fallstudie där Folksam varit huvudobjekt.

The intention of this qualitative study is to describe and analyse women's violence against men from the perspective of authorities and volunteer organisations. Data has been collected trough semi-structured interviews with six respondents stemming from the police, social services and a help organisation for men respectively. The data has been analysed using existing research and common theories about power, sex and gender. The study shows that IPV does not only contain physical violence, but also acts of psychological-, sexual-, economical-, material-, and latent violence as well as the fact that one act of violence almost never exists alone. It is shown that women more often use psychological abuse against their partner then men do and also that men tend to stay longer in an abusive relationship then women.

The purpose with this essay was to analyse the view of parental leave in the public and private labour market. How does the economical compensation affect the parent's use of parental leave, with focus on the fathers "earmarked" months? Were there any differences in private companies and public organisations? We chose to look at past research and theories about father/men's usage of "60 day parental leave" from a point of gender and equality perspective. In regard to our questions we preformed qualitative, semi structural interviews. We picked people at random to interview at both private companies and public organisations that had or had not extra economical compensations except what the social insurance office paid during parental leave.

Denna studie handlar om vilka erfarenheter och upplevelser som anhöriga till missbrukare kan ha. Den visar också hur ett missbruk påverkar en hel familj och hur den anpassar sitt liv i vardagen. Den visar att det kan finnas ett stort behov av stöd till anhöriga och att det faktisk finns stödformer. Vi har även undersökt om de anhöriga vill och kan ta del av det behandlingsarbete som finns kring en missbrukare. Undersökningen har gjorts med halvstrukturerade intervjuer där två anhöriga förmedlade sina erfarenheter och fyra personer som var behandlingspersonal från varsin enhet också fick dela med sig av sitt perspektiv.

In this study we examine five selected media organisations with different forms of productionplatforms that all appear in Stockholm's southern and western suburbs, which are part of themillion-construction project. Their stated ambition is to present an alternative image of thesuburbs than that found in mainstream media. They want to portray themselves instead ofconstantly being described by others.The purpose of the study is to gain a better understanding of the reason for the emergenceof these media, their visions according to the media producers themselves, and how theyrelate to mainstream media. The study is based on a theoretical framework that focuses ondiverse approaches of alternative media and the journalists' role in a democratic society.The wide data analysis from qualitative informant interviews, with small observations as acomplement, showed results indicating criticism against the misrepresentation of Stockholmsuburbs in mainstream media. Furthermore the results show that the overall dissatisfaction ofthis misrepresentation is one of the main reasons why the different media, which are bothrepresented by citizens and journalists, were founded.

Since the 1970`s the Non Governmental Organisations, NGO:s, have taken an increasing responsibility in the development cooperation work. Apart from an increase in resources delivered through the NGO:s it is also obvious in various official documents that the idea of NGO:s in regards to; reaching and involving poor people in the work and as capable of delivering aid resources to a low cost, is very widely spread and commonly accepted among political decision makers and aid agencies. In addition it?s very seldom that those positive statements about the NGO:s abilities, are backed by any kind of scientific study. This study argues that the ascribed abilities are more the rhetoric of a political idea than an empirical reality.

Inertia is often described as an unavoidable state that organisations reach when they grow to a certain size. Theorists present a number of different phenomenons, which together create the foundation for inertia. This study deals with the apparent resistance that appears among the large Nordic betting companies with regards to establishment on the electronic sports (eSports) market. The analysis is based on how the old phenomenon inertia takes place in young and seemingly flexible industries. This area has received limited coverage in current theory on inertia.
