Vikaholm är en fantastiskt trevlig plats med många fina natur-, kultur-, och rekreationsvärden. Platsen gränsar till stadsdelen Teleborg i södra Växjö. Examensarbetet beskriver hur det är möjligt att inrätta bostadsbebyggelse i ett sådant område utan att förstöra dess stora värden. Arbetets intention är istället att bostäderna skall integreras i platsens stora värden och därmed göra platsen mer tillgänglig för flera av stadens invånare..

The purpose of this essay was to examine the experience of the judicial process concerning domestic violence from the perspectives of abused females and from some of the authorities and organisations which meet these women. The essay investigated several views of the judicial process in order to obtain a wide perspective. It responded to the following questions:- How are abused women treated by the authorities and organisations?- Are there enough resources and knowledge among the authorities and organisations?- Is there any collaboration between the authorities and organisations which the female meets in the judicial process and if so, how does it look like?- What does the aspect of security of person look like for the women which have been exposed to domestic violence?- What in the judicial process is important for the women's ability to move on in her life after experiences of violence in a relationship?This study was based on a qualitative method, where the interviews constituted of empirical material. The essay was based on interviews with two females who have experiences of violence in a relationship, two social workers from Kvinnojouren in Lund, two social workers from Kriscentrum in Lund, one lawyer, one prosecutor, one policeman and one social worker from Kvinnoforum in Lund.

Studien utgår ifrån ett sociokulturellt ? och interkulturellt perspektiv. Syftet och frågeställningarna har besvarats genom en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer.

ERP system is divided in several applications with a modular software design that allow people in every department in a company to store and retrieve information accurately and in real-time. This master thesis investigates attitudes toward ERP systems among business organisations and ERP suppliers with the overall purpose of analysing to which extent a new ERP system will bring change in the business process. The purpose of this thesis is to make a survey of attitudes toward ERP systems among business organisations and ERP suppliers.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att titta på och jämföra hur Sverigedemokraterna och Feministiskt Initiativ konstruerar och talar om kultur och gemenskaper i politisk kommunikation. Intresset i studien är också att se huruvida man kan koppla dessa konstruktioner till reaktioner på globaliseringsprocessen. Materialet till denna studie grundar sig i politiska texter om kultur funna på respektive partis hemsida. Analysen utgår från ett diskursteoretiskt perspektiv och använder diskursanalytiska verktyg för att titta på konstruktioner av ?vi och dom? i texterna.

AIDS is a huge problem in the world and it is spreading rapidly, especially in Africa. Botswana is one of the worlds worst-hit countries, with over one-third of the inhabitants infected by HIV/AIDS. The measures that have been taken to stop the spread of AIDS are to inform and enlighten people on how the disease is spread and how to protect oneself. The aim of this thesis is to investigate what different ways of informing people about AIDS different organisations make use of in Botswana. The thesis also addresses how some receivers of the AIDS information experience it.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att synliggöra och problematisera vad kulturen sägs vara i svensk kulturpolitik, hur kulturpolitiken är utformad och för vem. Genom kvalitativ textanalys av 2009 års kulturproposition Tid för Kultur visar undersökningen att det i propositionen inte finns någon tydlig definition av vad begreppet kultur innebär. Det finns en uttalad medvetenhet om att kulturbegreppet är svårdefinierat men eftersom kulturbegreppet inte definieras i propositionen medför det en inkonsekvent användning.En viktig utgångspunkt för uppsatsen är att kulturen ? liksom kulturpolitiken ? kan utgöra en arena för maktspel. Av den anledningen är sociologen Pierre Bourdieus teorier om kulturella dominansförhållanden viktiga för undersökningen.

I the year of 2008 there were more than 60 000 purebred dogs newly registered in theSwedish Kennel Club. In addition there are a lot of mixed breed dogs and in the year of2006 it was estimated that there were over 700 000 dogs in Sweden. In today?s society it isnot unusual that people change their life situation by moving, getting a new job or startinga family. Because of this there is a risk of rehoming for dogs owned by these people.In Sweden dogs are among others rehomed by advertising or by rehoming organisations.

This paper aims to examine performance monitoring in project organisations. The number of organisations that regularly performs projects as a key part of their operations grows rapidly, why this topic has become of large interest. Through a theoretical framework developed by Lars Östman in 1977, the performance monitoring system of the Swedish government-owned public utility Svenska Kraftnät is studied closely. The results from this analysis are then linked to an analysis of the organisation's internal structure through Mintzbergs generic organisational structures. Close connections are found between organisational structure and performance monitoring, which leads on to interesting observations about the connection between size of a project organisation and choice of monitoring method..

It is now increasingly common for organisations to work actively with HR issues. Furthermore, it is a constant top priority for organisations to remain profitable. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether so called soft HR values, as manager?s communication skills, has an actual impact on hard values in terms of costs for the organisation. Leadership is largely characterised by emotional communication, which together with personnel costs were the main focus of the research.

Syfte: Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka kulturprogrammet K specials profil kontra image, samt vad programmets medarbetare och tittare associerar till begreppet kultur.Metod: Studien är genomförd med kvalitativa metoder i form av personliga intervjuer och telefonintervjuer samt en nätundersökning.Resultat: K specials projektledare har en samlad bild av hur de vill att tittarna ska uppfatta programmet. Tittarna som har medverkat i denna studie har i många anseenden en positiv likartad uppfattning om programmet. Det finns dock en skillnad i hur en del tittare associerar till namnet K special, då namnet stundtals associeras med frukostflingor. Gällande kultur visar det sig att K special är en kultur i sig och utgör en livsstil hos tittarna som medverkar i denna studie. Både tittarna och programmets medarbetare ser begreppet kultur som ett samlingsnamn på livet och människors uttryck, allt som inte platsar inom ramarna för naturvetenskap.

This perspective turns the question of socialism and the way to get there into an issue of working class power over the state. Another theoretical perspective is the partition of the labour movement into a trade-unionistic branch, seeing unions as financial organisations of interest, and a pro-state one, considering unions as political organisations.During the period investigated Gruvarbetaren was quite radical and advocated a firm class struggle strategy towards employers. Since these were considered unreliable, class struggle was seen as the only way to better the conditions for the working class.
