People are constantly using there friends in order to ask for a favor or to get hold of some information. This is usually done unconsciously and it is just viewed as everyday life behavior. The function and the use of these links definitely have a value, which means that it can be viewed as a form of capital. But this capital is not caught in the traditional theories of physical capital or human capital; it demands it?s on theorization.

The thesis is an examination of the methods that are appropriate and long-term choice to obtain clamping force and secure screw joints in production. The employer, Scania CV AB, transmission manufactures axle gears to all trucks produced in Södertälje. One of the most common assembly elements is screw joints, where the clamping force is essential to achieve a secure joint. Current methods to secure the joint is due much of the friction effect and is an indirect method to measure the clamping force. The clampforce accuracy becomes more widely with torque angle control.

Animal welfare is of increasing concern in present society. In commercial pig farming, animal welfare problems are common. One of the causes for these problems is the barren environment in which pigs are housed, which can cause oral manipulation of pen mates. Providing straw might be one solution to this problem. Another solution could be reached through genetic selection.

Denna uppsats behandlar ämnet internkommunikation. Vi har valt att genomföra en undersökning om Polismyndigheten Värmlands internkommunikation då de innehar ett stort ansvar att bevara trygghet och säkerhet i samhället. Polismyndigheten har även stora krav på sig idag gällande dialog och grad av kommunikation inom organisationen för att effektivisera det polisiära arbetet. Syftet med denna uppsats är att erhålla en insikt om den interna kommunikationens funktion och hur den gestaltas utifrån chefernas och de anställdas perspektiv. I denna uppsats använder vi oss utav relevanta teorier inom organisationskommunikation, internkommunikation, organisationsidentitet, organisationskultur och kommunikationsmodeller.

Artificial insemination (AI) has had a great influence on the development of pig production and is today widely practiced (Gerrit et al., 2005). With AI, genetic progress can at a short period of time be spread worldwide compared with using natural service and the best boars can be intensively used. This is also one of the biggest risks with AI; the impact of semen containing a genetic disease or contamination of pathogens can be enormous. Fortunately, it is a small risk of disease transmission due to many tests of the boars and the semen before use (Maes et al, 2008). It is important that the boars used for insemination have good breeding values along with good reproduction features and have good fertility results (Robinson et al., 2005).

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid Volvo Car Corporation Transmission & Chassi som tillverkar och delmonterar chassi- och transmissionskomponenter till Volvo personbilar. Examensarbetet är utfört vid avdelningen för chassikomponenter. Bakgrunden till examensarbetet är att andelen returer från kund ökat de senaste åren. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utvärdera arbetet med returer genom kund leverantör kedjan Köping, Bulycke och Torslanda. Målet är att ge konkreta förslag på hur företaget kan arbeta för att nå målet med nollfelsprincipen.

Bakgrund: På intensivvårdsavdelningar finns olika rutiner kring huruvida endotrakealtubens position hos intuberade skall skiftas eller bibehållas i samma mungipa, då sidbyten kan leda till allvarliga komplikationer. Rutinen vid CIVA har varit att byta endotrakealtubens position på alla intuberade patienter en gång per dygn. Varken rutinen med skifte samt bibehållen position har utvärderats. Syftet med studien är att undersöka oralt intuberade patienters munhälsa vid bibehållen position av endotrakealtub under vårdtiden. Metod: Studien är en kvantitativ deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie.

Detta examensarbete har utförts vid Linköpings universitet i samarbete med Scania Transmission i Södertälje och behandlar kravsättning av ytstrukturer samt processer för hårdbearbetning av kugghjul och axlar. Aktuella artikelritningar innefattar endast krav för Ra-värde, den aritmetiska medelavvikelsen för ytjämnhetsprofilen (R-profilen). Förslag på nya parametrar enligt av Scania tillämpade SS-EN ISO standards har tagits fram, detta för att ge en noggrannare beskrivning av vilken ytstruktur som skall uppnås. Resultatet är generellt tillämpningsbart men fokuseras mot kugghjulens hål, plan och diametrar. Vidare presenteras en jämförelse mellan metoder så att transmissionsverkstäderna kan tillverka kugghjul/axlar på ett kostnadseffektivare sätt.

Chronic atrial fibrillation is the most common diagnosis being treated, but other diagnoses such as venous thrombosis), pulmonary embolism, stroke, coronary stent thrombosis and arterial thrombosis treated. There are a variety of anticoagulant drugs. In Sweden Warfarin is used as standard medicine for oral anticoagulation therapy.PurposeThe purpose of this study is to examine and reflect nurses' experiences of working on anticoagulation clinic, and if he / she claims to have access to the necessary skills and resources to carry out a safe care.DesignThe study has a qualitative design with semi-structured interviews which were analyzed with an inductive approach. The interviews included six respondents.FindingsThe results showed that nurses who worked at anticoagulation Clinics had no specific training to operate these clinics.

Partille municipality is planning an extension of the building Forellen. Green environments in health care have been shown to improve the health of patients, especially in elderly care. This report addresses the possibility of using the leftover space in close connection to a dementia and short-term accommodation to a winter garden and a terrace. The report also analyzes the impact of these green spaces on the residents.The purpose is to find alternative answers on the issue through the study of nursing homes and green spaces, and that these may be useful for Partille municipality and inspiration for future projects. The goal is to get conclusions in to a report, drawings, and an oral presentation.The results show that the design of environments can affect human well-being and also be healing both mentally and physically.

One of the main tasks of the Swedish Armed Forces over the past few years has been International assignments, which increased the importance of the Lessons Learned process. Methods of simulator training with computers have become more frequent and the technical ability to collect digital data from sensors has been developed as well. This work demonstrates how the experience of Lessons Learned can be communicated with the computer simulator StriSimPC and how modern technology in future support experiences from the Lessons Learned process at the tactical level in the Army.Currently knowledge sharing consists of several processes and strategies in the Swedish Armed Forces. This is done by written reports, oral presentations and different practical exercises.This case study shows the functions of the simulator StriSimPC, methods of training and how it is used today. The study also describes the future opportunities, where digital metadata acquired from the modern combat vehicles could contribute sharing of experience in the Lessons Learned process.The summarized conclusions indicate that StriSimPC can combine the two strategies for personalization and codification of knowledge transfer to reach a higher level of learning.

En fungerande munhälsa är centralt för att människan ska kunna tillgodogöra sig näring och för att känna välbefinnande. Hälso- och sjukvården har gjort stora framsteg som bidragit till att medellivslängden ökat och den äldre populationen blivit större. Tandvården har också gjort stora framsteg vilket bidragit till att den äldre befolkningen behåller sina egna tänder i högre utsträckning. Paradoxalt nog har den förbättrade tandhälsan hos äldre gjort att problemen med tandhälsan ökat på grund av att tandhälsan har blivit eftersatt. Det har visat sig att äldre personer med kognitiv svikt som bor kvar i det egna hemmet har stora munhälsoproblem.

Background: Testosterone is the most important androgenic hormone in the male. Aging is closely associated with reduction of serum testosterone which can lead to reduced muscle mass, muscle strength, bone density, and depression. These symptoms may be counteracted by administration of testosterone. Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of hormone replacement in men with age-related testosterone deficiency. Method: We performed a systematic review using Randomised Controlled Trials (RCT).

Bakgrund: Ortodontisk behandling utförs vanligtvis på ungdomar och kan innebära en risk för den orala hälsan. Studier har visat att patienter med fast apparatur löper större risk att utveckla svullen gingiva och karies. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka tandvårdspersonalens rutiner kring munhygien hos patienter med fast apparatur på ortodontikliniker. Metod: Studien är en kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie i form av en enkät med 11 frågor. Enkäten skickades till fyra ortodontikliniker i fyra olika län i södra Sverige.
