Introduktion: Uppskattningsvis lider 4-20% av världens vuxna befolkning av tandvårdsrädsla. Rädsla är individens normala emotionella reaktion inför hot eller fara. Rädslan uppväcker en fysiologisk spänning i kroppen som skapar ett kamp- och flyktbeteende hos individen vilket kallas akut stress. Det finns olika metoder för att förebygga och behandla tandvårdsrädsla.Syfte: Att beskriva bakomliggande orsaker till varför tandvårdsrädsla uppstår hos vuxna samt att undersöka om tandvårdsrädsla kan få konsekvenser för den orala hälsan och i så fall vilka konsekvenserna är.Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie.Resultat: Orsaker: Det har konstaterats att patienter som har upplevt en obehaglig tandvårdssituation uppvisar högre grad av tandvårdsrädsla. Tandvårdsrädsla är multifaktoriell men rädsla för smärta har visat sig vara en central orsak till att tandvårdsrädsla uppstår hos individer.

Our objective with this study has been to find out if there are any problems that begin in the early part of the project. Problems that, if they aren?t solved directly, can become bigger problems later on in the project.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

Speech disorders are common in children with 22q11-deletion syndrome, but there is limited knowledge about speech in adults with this syndrome. The aim of this study is to describe speech and voice in adultswith 22q11-deletion syndrome, and compare the results with a control group.Ten adults between 19-49 years participated in each group. The study wasbased on the Swedish dysarthria assessment, Dysartribedömningen. Thetested abilities were respiration, phonation, oral motor function, velopharyngeal function, articulation, prosody and intelligibility. Communicative participation was examined as well.

This thesis focuses on information seeking and use by volunteers and employees in women?s organisations helping women who have been subject to violence. These organisations for example provide help and support, legal assistance and temporary shelter. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with five women working in Terrafem, which is a women?s organisation directed towards women with a non-Swedish background.

Introduktion: Gingivit förekommer hos en större del av befolkningen och kronisk parodontit förekommer hos upptill 40 % av alla vuxna i Sverige. Kunskapen om parodontala sjukdomar och vad de kan leda till är begränsad hos den svenska befolkningen. Den parodontala behandlingen delas in i icke-kirurgisk och kirurgisk infektionskontroll. Mätinstrumenten OHIP-14 och -49 är de mätinstrument som används oftast för att mäta livskvalité.Syfte: Att beskriva livskvalitén hos individer med kronisk parodontit.Frågeställningar: Hur upplever individer med kronisk parodontit sin livskvalité?Metod: En litteraturstudie.Resultat: I resultatet framkommer det att livskvaliteten hos personer med parodontit påverkas påtagligt.

Uppsatsen syftar till att identifiera faktorer som påverkar vid köp via enprisjämförelsesida. Faktorerna söks både i konsumentens tillvägagångssätt samtprisjämförelsesidans utformning. Identifieringen av faktorer sker med hjälp avett eget utvecklat ramverk för utvärdering. Ramverket bygger på befintligateorier och modeller som presenteras i litteraturgenomgången. I uppsatsenpresenteras empiriskt material från observationer och djupintervjuer med tiorespondenter.

 Over the past ten years, the pupils' performance and grades has fallen and the number of competent to high school has decreased gradually. The Swedish school has been criticized and the role of the teachers has been questioned, among other by the media. In autumn 2007 Johannesskolan, one of Sweden's tenth worst schools replaced the ordinary teachers of Class 9A against eight of the country's "main" educators with the goal of the class to become one of Sweden's third major. The teachers have the autumn term in which to achieve the goal and the outcome will be measured by national tests in core subjects Swedish, English and Mathematics. The aim of this paper is to examine the role of the teacher's leadership in relation to the pupils' social and intellectual development, and identify common leadership of these eight educators.

Syfte: Att studera bakomliggande faktorer som påverkar hur den vuxna befolkningen upplever sin nuvarande och framtida orala hälsa. Material och metod: Uppsatsen består av en litteraturstudie vilken kombineras med analyser av delar av en enkätundersökning som genomfördes 2011 och omfattar Kalmar län och, i denna uppsats, specifikt Emmaboda och Kalmar kommuner. Resultat: Litteraturstudien resulterade i ett urval artiklar som berör bakomliggande faktorer relaterade till munhälsa. Analyserna av enkäten visade att Emmaboda i jämförelse med Kalmar hade en högre förekomst av faktorer som hypotetiskt kan påverka munhälsan negativt. Respondenterna i Emmaboda hade även en mer negativ uppfattning om sin munhälsa.

Det uppskattas att ca 2 barn av 1000 har autism (AST) i Sverige idag, vilket innebärgenomgripande störningar i utvecklingen. Barn som drabbas av denna störning har ofta ettstort hjälpbehov från sin omgivning och att som förälder få ett barn med denna diagnosinnebär stora förändringar i det dagliga livet. Syftet med denna studie var att beskrivaföräldrars erfarenheter och upplevelser av att leva med barn med autismspektrumtillstånd.För att besvara studiens syfte har en litteraturöversikt genomförts, där sammanlagt 9artiklar har analyserats. Vid analysen framkom 5 olika områden: outtaladansvarsfördelning, att känna sig isolerad, oro, stress och depression, strategier för att kunnahantera situationen och vikten av socialt och professionellt stöd. Det framkom av resultatetatt de föräldrar som lever med ett barn med AST upplever att de bär en tung börda som ärrelaterad till barnets problem och svårighetsgrad.

ABSTRAKT Elisabeth, Olsson (2009). Self- concept and mathematics. Syftet med studien har varit att få en bild av elevers uppfattning kring matematikämnet, matematikprestationer och hur bemötande i undervisningsmiljön påverkar deras prestationer i matematik. En kvalitativ metod i form av djupintervjuer med åtta elever som går det individuella programmet på gymnasiet. Sammanfattningsvis visade resultatet av min studie att alla de intervjuade eleverna uppfattar matematikämnet som viktigt. Framförallt den matematik som är relevant för eleverna, det vill säga matematik som har syftet att användas i vardagslivet och för kommande yrkesval.

Since storytelling is a growing form of teaching we wanted to interview teachers to see what their experiences and opinions were on the subject. Therefore the purpose of this study is to use interviews to examine teacher perceptions and experiences about storytelling and its effect on language development. I will investigate both the use when the teacher is telling a story but also when students are telling stories. With help from my supervisor I was able to come up with interview questions that would help me answer my research question. After the interviews I reviewed the answers and analyzed them.
