The porpuse of this paper is to find out how three teachers working in years four to six in a Swedish school say they use formative assessment and how they use it in educational practice, and if there is a difference in the use of formative assessment between year four, five and six. Formative assessment is the kind of assessment that aims to enhance the student?s learning, as opposed to summative assessment wich is intended only to summarize student?s accomplishments. To answer the purpose, I conducted qualitative interviews with the teachers, and observations in each of the teachers? classrooms.

Komplikationer kan uppstå om inte munvården sköts och därför är det viktigt att sjuksköterskan har kunskap om munhälsa. Hur människor uppfattar sin munhälsa är individuellt och kan ge bra underlag i omvårdnadsarbetet. Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskans och patientens syn på munhälsa och dess påverkan på välbefinnandet. Arbetet genomfördes som en litteraturstudie och 13 artiklar användes till resultatet.

This study is an initial attempt to investigate the relationship between banks and developers in Stockholm and its regions. It gives a good impression about the field of construction and project developments in terms of the finance and the negotiations associated with these types of projects. Main actors of the Stockholm?s construction financing market were of major interest for this study. On this regard, the relationships and ramifications of this group were investigated by using a qualitative and quantitative research method.

Undersökningen är deskriptiv till sin karaktär. Sex stycken respondenter från åk 9 blev intervjuade. Intervjun består av två delar en skriftlig del och en muntlig del.

This thesis is built on a field study that was carried out in two seed-tree stands near by Götbrunna in Uppland, Sweden. The aim was to examine if scarification carried out in spring time could generate a more dense seedling establishment when using natural generation, than scarification carried out in autumn. It was also investigated whether there were differences in mortality the first season between the two plot-types. Plots were established block-wise with 50 blocks (pairs) on each site. The spring scarification was made with a hoe during 22-23 of April.

This rapport is result of a project. The purpose of which was to design a circuit that is used in a heat glove. The heat glove is the technical aid which provides heat inside a glove.It is specially suited for old people who have problems with cold hands because of decreased blood circulation.There already was an old circuit in the glove that gives a constant current which develops heat from battery to glove through a circuit. The temperature is between 32 and 34 degrees.The problem with the existing circuit was to regulate the temperature. There is only on/off switch and there is no way to adjust desirable value of the temperature.In order to solve the problem the old circuit was investigated.

The study analyses the planning of the Edsvik Konsthall in Sollentuna and the first 14 years after the opening 1996 until late 2010. The study focused on the cultural discourses that have influenced the Edsvik as result of the choice of managers, the public figures and actions taken by different actors around the art gallery.The influence by different actors is analyzed in the art field terminology defined by Pierre Bourdieu.I have demonstrated how the head of Edsvik Konsthall, because of different social capital and habitus, raised different types of conflicts on the local art field.  .

The purpose of this thesis is to highlight the work with line extensions by companies in the media industry. To obtain this purpose a case study was performed to learn about Norrbottens Media?s actions regarding their new launch of the magazine Extra. Information was gathered through an interview and media observations and was analyzed and compared to previous studies on the subject. Results of this case study show that the main reasons for the company?s line extension were new trends on the market and that the company had unexploited recourses to make use of.

By using univariate analysis, tobit and logit regressions, this thesis investigates determinants of asset writedowns. After controlling for variables indicating reductions in asset values, the results show that changes in senior management are significant in explaining the writedown decision and magnitude, which is in line with previous research. The explanatory power of changes in senior management has not increased with the transition to IFRS in 2005. No evidence is found supporting the hypothesis that the explanatory power of management incentives is higher for more discretionary types of asset writedowns..

Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori används för att undersöka om skillnader i personalmotivation mellan män och kvinnor är en bidragande faktor till detta problem. Efter genomförda intervjuer med ledningen och besvarade enkäter av anställda på advokatbyråer kan det konstateras att det finns avgörande skillnader i faktorer som motiverar män respektive kvinnor i arbetet. Featured adjuvant chemotherapy treatment in women with breast cancer can lead to pain. The aim of this study was to explore, the variety of perceptions and impact of adjuvantchemotherapy-induced pain in daily life, of some women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.Inclusion criteria were participating in an ongoing stress management projectand chemotherapy of (anthracycline/taxan) in doses of 75mg² or more. Exclusioncriteria were inability to understand and communicate in Swedish and mentalillness. After ethical approval of the sub study in September 2010, women wereconsecutively included through oral and written request. Phenomenologicalapproach was used in the eight interviews and data analysis.

Är arbetsmiljön tillfredsställd ökar chansen för trivsel.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka aspekter som påverkar anestesisjuksköterskanspsykosociala arbetsmiljö.Metod: Studien genomfördes på ett sjukhus i mellersta Sverige under våren 2013, där nioanestesisjuksköterskor intervjuades. Insamlad data analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Ur intervjuerna framkom tre kategorier; betydelsen av en trivsam miljö, arbeta över professionsgränserna och tidspress. Det var viktigt att ha förståelse och att ha trevligt tillsammans med sina arbetskamrater. Att även kunna hjälpa varandra i arbetet ansågs betydelsefullt.

Socialt stöd i rollen som enhetschef inom Socialförvaltningen är intressant med anledning av att deras arbete är självständigt och ensamt. Enhetschefernas mellanposition i organisationen innebär att förväntningar finns från flera nivåer inom organisationen. Syftet med studien är att öka kunskapsbilden och förståelsen för enhetschefers sociala stöd. Jag är intresserad av vad de upplever att de får för socialt stöd i chefsrollen samt vilka stödpersoner de anser är viktigast. Syftet är också att ta reda på vilken betydelse socialt stöd har för enhetscheferna i deras roll som chef.
