The purpose of this master?s thesis is to examine how some university students, who are using the libraries extensively, use and experience the public and the university library and what they expect from the two different library types. I also compare their expectations with the different tasks and aims of the two library types. To answer this I have interviewed seven students at the department of history of literature at Göteborg University. I have also studied some literature and research related to this subject, for example user studies about students and libraries and the information behaviour of distance students.

Sewage sludge contains plant nutrients and has earlier been utilised as fertilizer to cropland. Unfortunately not only plant nutrients but also heavy metals, pathogens and organic contaminants tend to accumulate in sludge. The suitability to use sewage sludge in agriculture has therefore been subject to several discussions over the years. The Swedish food industry does no longer accept sludge as fertiliser for Swedish producers. In 1999 the Swedish parliament accepted several objectives for environmental protection. In order to prevent environmental pollution and further exploitation of the earth crust, one of these objectives confirm that phosphorous from sewage shall be recirculated to arable land.

Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka om och hur man i grundskolans tidigare år arbetar med elevernas självbild under lektionerna i idrott och hälsa. För att få svar på detta använde vi oss av en kvalitativ metod i form av intervju med fem stycken lärare som alla undervisar i ämnet idrottt och hälsa i grundskolans tidigare år. Lärarna som blev intervjuade var alla utbildade lärare i idrott och hälsa och var från fyra stycken olika skolor från två olika kommuner.Resultatet visade att samtliga lärare tycker det är oerhört viktigt att jobba med elevernas självbild i idrott och hälsa men att de tyvärr känner att de har alldeles för lite tid till allt som ska hinnas med under lektionerna. Det framkom i undersökningen att alla lärarna ansåg att de ständigt jobbade med elevernas självbilder under lektionerna. Man jobbar med elevens självbild genom att försöka stärka eleven och lyfta fram den med positiv feedback.

Epiteloidcellig granulomatos (ECG) är en patologanatomisk diagnos (PAD) av en inflammationstyp som kan ses i orala vävnadsbiopsier. Inflammationsbilden visar infiltrat av inflammationsceller och epiteloidcelliga granulom med eller utan jätteceller, därtill kan ödematös vävnad och fibros presenteras. Makroskopiskt ses en symtombild med t ex läpp- och ansiktssvullnad, munvinkelragader och gingivala hyperplasier. Klinisk ställs exklusionsdiagnosen orofacial granulomatos (OFG). Etiologin är multifaktoriell och kan ses vid exempelvis Crohns sjukdom (CS) och sarkoidos.

There has been a lot of research done in the field of financial bubbles and ofcapital structure, as of yet no studies seem to address these two areas in combination.The aim of this study is to examine if financial bubbles affect a company?s capital structure and through this also examine if the supposed changes in capital structure can be generalized.The study comprise of two identical time-series which examines the changes in leverage and the choice of financing during the Swedish real estate bubble in the early nineties and the IT-crash at the end of the 2000th century.

Det är ett projekt som ägdes av Region Gävleborg och skapades för ?att samordna samhällets insatser för att motverka de negativa följderna av höstens snabba konjunkturnedgång? och målgruppen var företag där det fanns risk för varsel eller där man hade varslat personal. Det fanns ett behov av 11 000 utbildningsplatser i de 144 företag som deltog.

Studien syfte var att beskriva fotbollstränares verbala beteende samt analysera vilka förutsättningar dessa beteenden skapar för utveckling av spelarnas exekutiva förmågor (EF) som, enligt Vestberg et al (2012) är en avgörande faktor att bli elitspelare. För att komma fram till resultatet av fotbollstränarnas verbala beteende användes kvantitativ observation med inspiration från observationsschemat Coach Analysis Intervention System (CAIS) (Cushion, Stephen, Bob & Lee, 2012). Därefter analyserades vilka förutsättningar resultatet skapar för utveckling av exekutiva funktioner hos spelarna genom kvalitativ bedömning utifrån Annerstedts (2001) teoretiska perspektiv och tidigare forskning (Jackson & Beilock, 2008; Pearson & Webb, 2006;Williams & Hodges, 2005). Resultatet visar att tränarna har högst frekvens på instruktioner, lägst frekvens på reflekterande feedback och få divergenta frågor. Analysen visar att förutsättningarna för spelarna att utveckla EF är störande. Here I study some European films from the late 1950?s and the early 1960?s by directors like Fellini, Visconti, Pasolini and Godard. By comparing them with different sociological studies on the subject of female prostitution I try to find out if these films are interested in the actual situation of the prostitute, or in their own image of the phenomenon. Is she an object used for sex or just an sex object? Is she positively or negatively pictured? With realism or as a stereotype? Which aspects of her situation is shown and which ones are concealed? What is the view on the men who actually use her services?It seems natural that different types of films, with different types of prostitutes, illustrates different aspects of what prostitution might be.

Litteratur inom systemutvecklingsområdet påvisar fördelar med användarmedverkan. Fördelarna kan påverka organisationer och systemutvecklare att vilja involvera användare i utvecklingsarbetet. Det resulterar dock inte automatiskt i att fördelarna uppnås, eftersom det finns faktorer som kan påverka användare under samarbetet.Detta arbete syftar till att klargöra vilka faktorer som användare anser vara mest betydelsefulla under samarbetet och vad de anser om faktorerna. Syftet är även att klargöra vilka faktorer systemutvecklare tror att användare anser vara mest betydelsefulla och vad de anser om faktorerna. Likheter och skillnader mellan användares och systemutvecklares rangordning och kommentarer till faktorerna lyfts också fram.För att få frågeställningarna i problempreciseringen besvarade har ett antal intervjuer genomförts med användare och systemutvecklare.

The purpose of this essay is to identify and analyze the term leadership based on democratically-, authoritarian-, and passive (laissez-faire) leadership and find out which of these types are to be preferred among employees. Our main aspects are:Do employees prefer democratically-, authoritarian-, or passive leadership?Are there any differences regarding ideal leadership considering sex, age, length of service and sector?We have chosen to make a quantitative study of two equivalent organizations, one in the private and one in the public sector. Our method is an explorative method were we seek to find new knowledge about our fenomena. Our study is based on the already established theories on leadership and our empirical data is gathered by questionnaires.The conclusions to be drawn from this study is that our respondents to a large extent prefer a democratic leadership towards an authoritarian and passive leadership. Most of them prefer a democratic leadership with elements of the other leadership types.

För att överleva på den globala och konkurrenshårda marknaden måste företag vara flexibla, innovativa och optimera sina resurser. Genom att hyra in konsulter kan företag med snabb och effektiv verkan påverka sitt kunskapskapital. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda huruvida utvärdering av projekt kan öka konsultens kompetensutveckling och kvalitetssäkring till framtida projekt. Uppsatsen undersöker om det finns något samband mellan konsulters kompetens och erfarenhetsåterkoppling, den omfattas av en litteraturstudie och en empirisk undersökning. Det empiriska underlaget består av intervjuer med fem konsulter som representerar fyra konsultbolag i Sverige.

Currently there is a controversial debate about that we must reduce our impact on the global warming; therefore both the Government and the local authorities have invested heavily in developing renewable energy in Sweden. The major development on the wind power market can be seen as a result of both the technological development and also on the decision that the Government took in 1996, which opened up the wind power market for private parties.This paper has aimed to examine the types of financial innovations that have arisen from the investments and financing of wind power on Gotland, and what these innovations can contribute to the future development of wind power.The problems that this thesis is based on is; what kind of financial innovations have occurred within investment and financing of wind power? How can these innovations contribute to the continued development of wind power on Gotland? The conclusion of this study shows that respondents and participants have defined a number of financial innovations that have emerged. Where some of the innovations only can be seen as incremental since they are based on continuous improvements, while others can be seen as radical as they are completely new for the context in which they operate. The study has also shown that Gotland has a great potential to produce more renewable electricity, but the development is dependent on the new power lines being built, in order to export electricity to the mainland..

In recent years, the demands for effectiveness and evidence in social work have increased in all work areas, including that of healthcare. This has sparked the discussion on concepts such as practical- and theoretical knowledge and their respective roles in social work. In the light of this, the purpose of this candidate thesis is to investigate healthcare social workers understanding of practical- and theoretical knowledge in the working process as well as their respective influence and importance. This candidate thesis is based on three interviews with social workers from different departments in Norrlands Universitetssjukhus in Umeå, Sweden. To provide range to the thesis, the interviewees were chosen from a purposeful sampling.

The focus of the thesis is: how conditions for agriculture in the Republic of Macedonia today may form the basis for development of the agricultural sector towards conditions needed for future accession into the European Union. The method for investigating this question has been to look at newly available farm monitoring system (FMS) data from Macedonia. Also to look at the latest government policies created in the country for the agricultural sector and rural areas in relation to the requirements for EU accession. Articles and empirical studies published by other authors related to the questions which arise in this study have been reviewed and presented herein. Trade relations, trade patterns and national economic and agricultural trends are displayed to provide a background overview for the study of the agricultural sector.
