The essential thing about breaks has been in relation to time, body, movement, force and room during my examination. Through conversations high-school students from two schools have taken part in this study. The examination is based on conversations with the students and has focused on students? experiences of breaks, and is also carried through by the method of phenomenology. The results of my studie show that students - during their breaks - experience a feeling of allways heading for something and also that time seem to exist in three levels: filled time, non-filled time and flow regarding of time.

Bakgrund: Läckage av fostervatten i fullgången tid utan att värkarbetet börjar, benämns PROM (Prelabour Rupture of the membranes). Förtidig vattenavgång förekommer i mellan 6-19% av alla graviditeter. Därför är det viktigt att barnmorskor har kunskap från den senaste forskningen om handläggningen av PROM. Syfte: Att genom studie av publicerad forskning identifiera optimal behandlingsmetod vid PROM efter graviditetsvecka 34+0, singelgraviditet och barn i huvudändläge. Metod: Beskrivande systematisk litteraturstudie.

The aim of this study was to investigate how maternity and child care was carried out at Regional Hospital in Morogoro, Tanzania as well as how it was perceived by mothers and children. The study was conducted with a qualitative method through observation and interviews. The results of the study showed that the staff knew what they were doing and how they should treat their patients and that they helped them without thinking about preventive measures. The study concluded that people wanted to seek the care provided at the hospital and some people stated that they had confidence in the staff. The people that came to the hospital sought care for various diseases and conditions and they all got medical attention of some sort.

Syfte och problemområde: Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka faktorer som har hjälpt par till att få en förbättrad relation samt att se om det finns könsskillnader i synen på dessa faktorer. Vi ville också se vad som var verkningsfullt i familjerådgivningens behandling.Metod: Utgångspunkten var par som genom samtal i familjerådgivning upplevde sig ha fått en bättre relation. Intressebrev skickades ut genom två olika familjerådgivningsbyråer i Göteborgsområdet och par i bekantskapskretsen tillfrågades också om medverkan. Sammanlagt tio kvinnor och män intervjuades var för sig kring sin bakgrund, relationen, familjerådgivningen, vardagslivet, familj och nätverk. För analys av materialet användes meningskategorisering och indelning i teman: vardagsliv, relationen och individen.

Syfte och frågeställningarStudien genomfördes med syftet att specificera vilken intensitet och duration vid uppvärmning som är optimal för att få ut största möjliga effekt vid anaerob prestation i form av maximalt vertikalhopp och fem sekunders maximal cykelsprint. Studien byggde på tre frågeställningar: På vilket sätt påverkar uppvärmningen prestationen vid ett maximalt vertikalhopp? På vilket sätt påverkar uppvärmningen prestationen vid ett maximalt fem sekunders sprinttest? Vilken uppvärmning är optimal för maximal muskulär explosivitet?MetodDesignen var en kvantitativ experimentell studie som innefattade fyra fysiskt aktiva kvinnor med genomsnittsålder på 24 år. Testerna bestod av nio tillfällen där en slumpad uppvärmning på ergometercykel genomfördes varje gång. Därefter genomfördes tre vertikalhopp, så kallade counter movement jump, på en kraftplatta och tre fem-sekunders sprint (5sCST) på Monarks Peak Bike.

Companies constantly strive for the perfect order which enables them to satisfy and retain their customers. This is a difficult process that can be facilitated by using different picking technologies. In this study, a research of the picking technologies Pick-to-Light and Pick-to-Voice have been made to investigate when each technology is suited.In order to collect relevant information and data to be able to answer the question formulation, a qualitative study with interviews have been made. The purpose of this essay was to investigate Pick-to-Light and Pick-to-Voice to see when each technology is best suited and to see what the differences between the technologies are. With our essay we wanted to help manufacturing companies to make the right decisions when implementing a picking technology.The results showed that those picking technologies give companies a higher picking quality and an increased work efficiency since the order picking is faster to perform, and that picking errors are reduced.

Jämställdhet har länge varit ett omtalat ämne. Trots att Sverige tidigare blivit utnämnt till världens mest jämställda land finns det fortfarande mycket att göra för att uppnå fullständig jämställdhet (SOU 1998:6). Uttaget av föräldraledigheten är starkt snedfördelat där kvinnan tenderar att ta ut den största delen av ledigheten. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om åldersskillnaden inom parrelationer har någon påverkan på fördelningen av föräldraledigheten. Utifrån syftet har tre frågeställningar formulerats som uppsatsen ämnar studera; Hur ser fördelningen av föräldraledigheten ut då mannen är äldre, yngre respektive jämngammal med kvinnan?Uppsatsen baserar på levnadsnivåundersökningarnas (LNU) datamaterial som samlades in år 2000.

En automatiserad beställningsprocess resulterar i olika effekter för detaljisten och beror till stor del på vilken grad av automatisering som uppnåtts och den rådande situationen. Automatiseringen ställer höga krav på ett korrekt lagersaldo, där återförsäljaren har svårigheter med svinn, stölder och egen förbrukning, som inte registreras. Dessa svårigheter tror vi i stor grad påverkar effekterna i automatiseringen. Teorierna har oftast en optimal situation som grund i sina beskrivningar av effekterna, men vi tror att dessa effekter är olika påtagliga beroende på graden av automatisering och rådande situation..

One way to achieve this is by investing in a Unit Production System.In our thesis we have questioned what the main driving forces for an apparel manufacturing company is when it chooses to invest in new technology.

The purpose of this essay was to try to find out if the optimal farrowing pen exists. By interviewing producers, veterinarians and salesmen and also through a literature study, I have tried to evaluate advantages and disadvantages regarding different types of pen formations and environmental details. The interviews with the producers showed that they all were satisfied with their particular farrowing pen. It also showed that one material can be functional in one farrowing pen but not in another. The determining factor for the outcome of the farrowing pen was the individual experience and the way of thinking of the producers. The veterinarians were of the opinion that there today were no existing farrowing pens that responded to the pigs needs. However, the results on the farms were generally good. The salesmen thought that the production costs could be lower if a sort of a standard pen was used.

ABORT ?n GO is a design project within the crossing boundaries of Critical Design and IndustrialDesign.The contemporary discourse on abortion is problematic, and infected by double norms. Thesenorms may cause feelings of guilt and shame in women who have an abortion. The abortion rightis built upon conflicting standpoints; one is that women have right to have an abortion, withoutbeing questioned. Second is the notion that abortion is something that should be avoided, implyingthat you?ve done something wrong if you have had an abortion.With this project and physical product I want to explore and discuss the contemporary discourseon abortion in Sweden.

Bakgrund: Sexualitet är väsentligt för människans identitet, relationer och upplevelser; ett komplext livsområde. Strålbehandling som ges till kvinnors bäckenregion påverkar hennes sexuella förmåga genom biverkningar till hud och slemhinnor som ger smärta och obehag samt minskad komfort i underlivet. Ofta ges inte den adekvata information som patienten har rätt till på grund av fördomar och okunskap. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa hur kvinnors sexualitet påverkas av strålbehandling mot bäckenmaligniteter och kvinnornas behov av information. Metod: Uppsatsen är en litteraturöversikt utifrån 10 artiklar som söktes i databaserna CINAHL och PubMed.

This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.
