I den svenska försvarsmakten har på senare år, bland annat i samband med attSverige börjat nyttja NATO:s ?Guidelines for Operational Planning?, intresset för spel ökat bådepå Försvarshögskolan och inom Försvarsmakten. Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hurkrigsspel kan bedrivas för att stödja framtagandet av en stridsplan samt sedan att pröva planeninnan den sätts i verket. Uppsatsen har också som målsättning att ta fram några grundläggandeprinciper för krigsspelens genomförande.Inledningsvis genomfördes övergripande litteraturstudie som ledde fram till tre hypoteser. Dessaprövades sedan mot två olika fallstudier.De sammanfattande slutsatserna är att två olika typer av spel behövs, en kreativ modell somhjälper till i själva planeringsprocessen och ett prövande modell som hjälper till med beslutsstödetinför verkställandet av planen.

Background: In the eighties the debate concerning the declining relevance of the traditional calculation started. The reason was that the method of calculating not had been changed despite that the costs and manufacturing had changed in many companies. This led to the development of activity-based costing. Management by means of activity information is called activity-based management, but there is no general accepted definition of what the term com- prises. Neither are there any studies which describe within which areas activity information is used as a base for decisions.

Purpose: The aim of this thesis is to examine how word of mouth and buzz marketing affects Uppsala´s businessstudents attitudes towards Red Bull. To solve this purpose we intend to answer some underlying questions.Theory: We have used relevant theories within word of mouth, buzz marketing and consumer behaviour. Our thesis will bring up the essential parts within these three different theories that we believe are relevant to our purpose.Method: In this thesis we have used both quantitative and qualitative methods such as interviews and questionnaires. The questionnaires will be handed out at Economicum at Uppsala University.Empirical study: This part is based on our questionnaires handed out to business students at Economicum, but also on our interviews made with employees working for Red Bull.Conclusion: Our empirical study has given us a clear picture of how Red Bull works and use marketing tools to promote their product. Through our questionnaires we have also found out what attitudes consumers has against the brand and the product.

The aim of this thesis is to answer whether a group of databases dedicated to selling books or a group of databases dedicated to lending books is more efficient. The measurements used to determine the efficiency of the two kinds of databases are Cumulated Gain and precision in modified versions. The inquiry has been conducted thus that the same 18 queries have been put forth to six databases and these results have consequently been judged according to relevance on a 4-graded scale by five respondents. The rankinglevels have then been merged to one average value per respondent and ranking. These values have then been used to determine CG/iCG/nCG and P@n per query, rank 1-10, per database and per group (the groups being STORE (BUTIK) and LIBRARY (BIBLIOTEK).

Syftet med studien är att studera vilka uppfattningar som pedagoger i förskola och pedagoger i förskoleklass har kring överlämning av information. Undersökningen fokuserar på hur pedagogerna uppfattar att de arbetar med detta och hur de ser på kommunikationen mellan varandra. Även vilken information som de anser är relevant att ge vidare och varför information ska ges vidare där både fördelar och nackdelar tas upp. Sju kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes i Västernorrlands län, i två olika kommuner. Fyra av intervjuerna skedde med förskolepedagoger och tre med förskoleklasspedagoger.

Interest in the implementation of AGV-systems (Automated Guided Vehicle) has in recent decades increased. The reason is that it allows companies to perform reliably and secure internal transport while reducing the need of personnel. It is one of todays most advanced and complex material handling system that can independently make their own decisions regarding flow paths and traffic control. An AGV-system consists of transport units carrying cargo from point A to point B, and communicates using a computer.The purpose of this study is to develop a model on how to proceed in order to design an AGV system in heavy industry. The model is tested by a case study of a company in the metal industry to determine if the model works and gives the correct result.

Lärare ska i sin undervisning se till varje elevs behov, förutsättningar och intressen så att varje elev möts på sin kunskapsnivå och får den uppmuntran, hjälp och det stöd som krävs för att tillägna sig kunskap. Alla elever är olika och behöver därför olika metoder och inlärningstid. Ämnet är relevant då vi under vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning märkt att en del pedagoger är dåligt förberedda att möta varje elev, alltså att bedriva en individualiserad undervisning. Undersökningen har skett genom kvalitativa intervjuer med sex pedagoger på fyra olika skolor. Pedagogerna är verksamma i årskurs 4-5.

The purpose of this paper has been to explore how Swedish users of the file-sharing software Direct Connect perceive their own situation and the file-sharing phenomenon. In addition to ascertain what attitudes prevail in the file-sharing culture and what knowledge file-sharers have regarding the relevant Swedish legislation. The questions central to my area of interest were: - Why do file-sharers use the program Direct Connect? - What knowledge do file-sharers have of the relevant legislation in Sweden? - What attitudes prevail in the file-sharing culture? - Is file-sharing behaviour affected by an individuals experience and/or level of knowledge? I compared the results of my survey with earlier surveys done. In addition I compared categories within the file-sharing group such as gender, age, experience and level of knowledge to determine if there were any patterns within or differences between the groups.

Syftet med studien var att genom granskning av litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar undersöka vilka typer av arbetsterapeutiska interventioner för vuxna med Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Den metod som legat till grund för denna studie var en litteraturöversikt. Valet av litteratur har bestått av vetenskapliga artiklar samt relevant litteratur. För att identifiera relevant litteratur har sökningen av litteratur gjorts i ett flertal olika databaser däribland de tillgängliga databaserna vid Luleå Tekniska Universitet. Totalt identifierades sju vetenskapliga artiklar som legat till grund för denna studie.

This paper aims to give an insight into how venture capital work with their investments in the school sector. The purpose of the paper is to examine their work, regarding to goals of the company and the process of controlling the goals.  The study also aims to determine the way the companies work with value growth.This study uses a qualitative research method, where the theories license to operate, the relationship value management framework, agency-principal and new public management theory is tested in relation to the collected data. Eleven persons were interviewed in this paper. This paper also aims to give an overview to venture capital in the school sector, where it will examine whether financial goals could collide with social goals.What the study can tell is that venture capital does not have a license to operate in this sector, according to the theory.

This paper was part of the ongoing cooperation between the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority and the Department of Psychology at Lund University. The purpose of this study was to develop a self-report measure regarding human factors, for the air traffic controllers to fill out before they start their working shift. This in order to aid the team leaders in their judgment regarding the air traffic controller's ability to perform at the right safety level. The self-report measure would also serve as an aid for the air traffic controllers who have a responsibility regarding their own performance. If successful this self-report measure would make it easier for the air traffic controllers to be alert regarding certain factors that can have a large impact on their performance.
