This study is about care managers, who process in the care of the elderly, regarding to needs, rules, regulations, guidelines and their freedom of space. The purpose with this study is to understand how the care managers process out of the basis from the needs of the elderly, the municipal guidelines in relation to the caremanagers freedom of space.The study has a qualitative approach and is based on semistructured interviews with five different care managers.To analyze our interview material we have use the street-level bureaucrat theory by Lipsky and Johansson and the theoretical idea empowerment. Before we started our research about care managers we had an understanding in that the organization had an influence in the judgment of the needs of the elderly. Now we have an understanding in that the relative to the elderly is the one who wants to affect the care manager during the judgment of needs in what effort to make. Our study indicates that it exist insecurity regarding to the municipal guidelines, which was surprising. We thought that the guideline was something positive and a help full tool for the care managers.The result in our research points out that the guidelines makes insecurity instead of comfort.Our study shows that the care managers are contradictory regarding to their freedom of space. In the other hand they consider that their freedom of space is positive, but on the other hand when the municipal guidelines don´t work, they become worried and insecure.It´s the none working municipal guidelines who gives the care managers a huge freedom of space. Which leads to that the care managers is afraid of doing misjudgments. Our result don´t distinguish from other studies made in this subject area. .

Title: Collaboration in BoDa-units. A qualitative study about collaboration regarding people with disabilities. The purpose of this thesis was to internally examine the cooperation between different professions in municipal BoDa-units. By doing a qualitative study using focus-group-interviews in three municipalities, we were able to examine the personnel?s experience of cooperation issues and opportunities in BoDa-units.

I have studied literature to get theoretical background. I visited a seminar to get information and inspiration. Interviews have been done with six persons to get empirical information.      Result and conclusions: Through this study I have seen that social enterprises can co-operate to strengthen their position in the community. Together they can run issues they have in common, undertake major assignments and purchase material to get better deals.

The public sector has through the years been exposed to a rather radical alteration. The aim with this alteration has been to make the public sector more effective. It?s a dynamic society that Norrbottens läns landsting (NLL) operates in today and it is therefore of great importance that the managers get a solid foundation to rely on, since they have a central role in the ambition for efficiency. Another reason to educating the managers is that NLL can secure the future pension losses.

Dagens samhälle kräver att varje enskild individ måste ta beslut över alla de val som vi ställs inför. När det gäller val som antingen gynnar eller missgynnar vår hälsa är möjligheterna idag oändliga. På grund av detta finns det många som ökar i vikt och därmed kan behöva hjälp med att göra en livsstilsförändring. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som kan ha påverkat och motiverat i valet av att göra en gastric bypass operation, samt att urskilja vilka förändringar som följer efter den typen av livsstilsförändring. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes där fyra informanter deltog och studiens data analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Bakgrund: Här presenteras rökningens påverkan samt allmän kännedom om tobak, vilka risker som förekommer inför operation samt operationssår. Hur patienten bör sköta om sitt operationssår för att hindra uppkomst av infektioner. Sårläkningsprocessen beskrivs och är en betydande punkt för patientens hälsotillstånd. Sjuksköterskans roll redogörs samt problemformulering om hur litteraturstudien valda ämne. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva tobaksrökningens påverkan på sårläkning av operationssår.

Until recently, the art market has expanded for several consecutive years. The primary art market is characterized by an unclear pricing mechanism and an infinite as well as limited supply. Previous business studies have so far primarily focused either on art as an investment or on the gallery?s activities. This thesis takes an explorative approach and aims to shed a light on the art collector?s behavior on the Swedish market for contemporary art.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka om patienter upplever att de fått tillräckligt med information inför sövning vid operation. Information är en viktig del i omvårdnaden, för att skapa en trygghet hos patienten. Många patienter upplever oro inför sövningen, vilket kan minska om patienterna är välinformerade. Studien bedrevs med en kvantitativ ansats som en enkätstudie på sju avdelningar på Karolinska sjukhuset, Huddinge. Frågeformuläret konstruerades av författarna inför studien och testades i en pilotstudie.

This thesis is intended to analyze if Fortums grid in Stockholm could be described correctly, using equivalent comparison standards. In Ekm every part of the distribution grid is designated a weighting in relation to 1 km 0.4kV over head line. These Ekm-measurements are intended to simplify comparison between different grid areas with different structure and geographical conditions.

During the last decade executive coaching has become an increasingly popular method of management development. Few studies have been conducted within this area, especially in Sweden, and little has been said about the construction of management in executive coaching. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study executive coaching from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the construction of management. The two research questions are: How is management constructed in executive coaching? How can we understand the construction of management in executive coaching? Additionally, we identify gender as a social construction of importance and thus include a gender perspective in our analysis.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse how the leadership and the structure of the organization affect the process of changes within a specific department in Lunds kommun socialdepartment, from the director of social work to the co-workers at Utredningsenheten för ungdom och familj. We aim to answer the following questions;How does the structure of organisation affect the process of change?What do the co-workers and the leaders believe is the best way to engage the co-workers in the change?How does the leaders view their own leadership in the process of change?How does the co-workers view the leadership in the process of change?How does the leadership affect the process of change?To develop an organisation and to make it a functional, change is a necessity. The leaders are they who create the change but the co-workers are they who make it happen. In the process of change, leadership and the leaders capacity to create motivation for the co-workers, is therefore a matter that is decisive to its success.This is a study based on a qualitative method, where the interview is the main source of empirical material.

Background: Having chosen to take a degree in international business, we have had many opportunities to meet people from different cultures. These encounters have, we believe, made our lives richer, but they have not always been problem-free. When different cultures come together, the differences inevitably become apparent. Being among friends, one can maybe laugh at these differences or it may be a good opportunity to get people to talk to each other, taking the time to explain why they do things a certain way. Being at work and experience these differences might not at all have the same ice-breaking effect - rather the opposite sometimes.

Att påverka sin egen skolgång kan betraktas som en ynnest eller som ett krav. I vilket fall så anser författarna att elevens utvildning blir den bästa möjliga om eleven får möjlighet att vara med och besluta - både i lärandeprocessen och i examinationsprocessen. Syftet med detta arbete var just att studera elevernas inflytande i lärande- och elevernas inflytande i examinationsprocessen. Utifrån författarnas studier så visar det sig att eleverna mycket riktigt förespråkar ett inflytande i dessa. Författarna utförde två studier, Studie I "Janne", där elever från gymnasieskolan och folkhögskolan fick ta ställning till en fiktiv elev, Janne, och hans svårigheter kring den skriftliga examinationsformen.

Att sövas inför en operation innebär att lämna över kontrollen av sina livsfunktioner och är en situation många patienter känner oro inför. För att kunna utveckla anestesisjuksköterskans preoperativa omhändertagande är kunskap om patienters upplevelser av omhändertagandet nödvändigt. Dessa upplevelser kommer att studeras med utgångspunkt i en teoretisk begreppsmodell om personcentrerad vård.Syfte: Att beskriva patienters upplevelse av det preoperativa omhändertagandet inför anestesi.Metod: Kvalitativa semi-strukturerade intervjuer kommer att genomföras med ett tiotal personer som i slutenvården genomgått en operation i generell anestesi. Intervjuerna kommer att analyseras med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. För att testa metod och forskningsplan genomfördes en pilotstudie där två forskningspersoner som nyligen genomgått en operation i generell anestesi intervjuades.
