An increased awareness about the global warming has created a demand for more information on how the climate is affected by different activities.This master thesis was initiated by Tricorona, a Swedish company that offers its customers analysis and calculation of their climate impact. Tricorona also supplies climate neutralisation with CERs, in accordance with the Kyoto protocol and controlled by the UN. This work demands updated emission factors for greenhouse gases. An emission factor gives information about the greenhouse gasintensity of a service or a product [kg CO2-eq./ functional unit].The purpose of this thesis is to examine how electricity, district heating, hotels, taxis, food and materials affect the climate and how emission factors for these areas can be calculated.This was done by reviewing and comparing different studies and by interviewing experts. The information was evaluated and recommendations on calculations and emission factors were made.The consumption of energy is the main source of greenhouse gas emissions for district heating, electricity, hotels, taxis and materials.

This study was done regarding whether sealing or ventilation is the best solution to prevent moisture on cold attics. The authors of this report addressed the problem with moisture in attics when they started their cooperation with Peab.The methods included interviews with people, database research, and calculations of a project in Akersberga north of Stockholm. The conclusion is based on interviews and other information as they are analyzed in relation to the house of reference. The focus of this report is on problems with moisture in the attics known as cold attics.The background of the problem with moisture is that today?s slabs are usually insulated to save energy and that the attics nearly gives the climate as the outdoor climate.

Klimatfrågan är idag mer aktuell än någonsin tidigare. Detta beror på den akuta situation som vi levande på jorden faktiskt befinner oss i. Det har nästan alltid funnits hot mot vårt klimat, men det är först idag som vi tydligt börjar se följderna av vårt tidigare handlande och det jag syftar på är den förstärkta växthuseffekten och dess konsekvenser. Syftet med studien är att utifrån en lärandesituation i form av ett rollspel beskriva elevers handlingsberedskap och känslor kring växthuseffekten. Frågeställningarna är följande.

Byggsektorn står för en stor del av de emissioner som påverkar klimatet negativt. Byggmaterial baserade på trä påverkar den globala miljön mindre negativt jämfört med alternativa byggmaterial som betong. Trähusindustrin kan därför anses ta ett miljömässigt ansvar eftersom deras produkter har en lägre klimatpåverkan, vilket bidrar till att minska byggsektorns totala miljöpåverkan. Informationen om träbyggandets klimatfördelar behöver också kommuniceras för att skapa möjligheter för kunden att göra miljömedvetna val vid köp av hus. Idag tenderar trähusindustrin att marknadsföra kostnadseffektiva fördelar i större utsträckning än miljömässiga sådana.

Syfte: Som blivande fastighetsekonomer ville vi finna mer kunskap om ämnet outsourcing och om hur fastighetsföretagen tänker och agerar kring detta.Outsourcing känns för oss verklighetsförankrat och inspirerande, och vi hoppas vår studie ska bidra med förståelse för vad som styr valet av outsourcing samt ge en inblick i hur dess framtid kan komma att se ut.Metod: För att få en användbar teori i denna uppsats har vi undersökt litteratur om outsourcing och fastighetsförvaltning. Vår studie sträcker sig över Gävleborg och Dalarna. Vi har skickat ut en enkät om trenden för outsourcing till 85 företag och fått svar av 52. Utifrån dessa enkäter har vi sedan valt ut ett antal företag som använder sig av outsourcing och sedan intervjuat dem mer ingående.Resultat & slutsats:Outsourcing är vanligt förekommande bland fastighetsföretagen i Gävleborg och Dalarna. 89 % av de svarande företagen använder sig av outsourcing i någon form.

The Telecom industry is facing a paradigm shift, where the industry is converging with Internet technologies and the market is becoming more sophisticated. This results in more demanding customers, and the need for offering more content and services with a focus on usability for the end-users. The operators are starting to loose both their strong position and revenue in the Telecom industry, due to new technology and the fact that other actors are starting to enter the market, offering new content and services. In the end, the operators have two choices, to become bit-pipe providers, and only focusing on network management, or keeping the control over their networks. The latter would mean that they block other actors who are taking parts of their revenue, e.g.

Detta examensarbete är gjort i samarbete med iOpera AB i Kramfors. iOpera är ett företag som just nu arbetar med ett projekt som innefattar virtuell musikteater på internet. Deras vision är att skapa ett större intresse för opera då den genren har kommit i skymundan i den nya musikindustrin på internet. Denna uppsatts handlar om att hjälpa iOpera med akustiksimuleringar eftersom akustiken i den virtuella miljön är väldigt viktigt för att skapa ett mervärde i deras projekt.Med hjälp av datorprogrammet CATT-Acoustic kan man simulera akustiken i ett rum. Genom att definiera absorptionskoefficient och diffusionskoefficient på rummets alla ytor samt placera ut källa och mottagare skapas möjligheten att simulera.

The purpose with this essay was to examine how the European Union is working totransfer norms to states they signed an agreement with and provide support for inframe of the Barcelona process and the Tacis programme. The theory which weused was Ian Manners (PhD in Political Science) theory of "the EU as a uniquenormative power". The aim was to examine whether the EU - which Manners mean- has had a normative power to influence states to change. We used a qualitativeapproach through the use of a multiple case study and qualitative text and contentanalysis. The States which formed the basis of our study were within the BarcelonaProcess; Morocco and Tunisia as well as Azerbaijan and Armenia funded by theTacis programme.

Aim: The aim of this thesis is to through a survey, gain information about the tenant owners knowledge concerning their own and the real estate agents rights and obligations, this to elucidate one of the factors we think play a big part in the general publics dissatisfaction about the real estate agents and the negative picture painted of them in media today. By throwing light on the assumed lack of knowledge in this area we hope to contribute to improve the information communicated to the customers so that they can feel safer when consulting a real estate agent in this matter.Our main question in this thesis is: How much knowledge does tenant owners and tenant owners to be have concerning the division of responsibilities when it comes to selling and buying a tenant owned flat and what problems can the presumed lack of knowledge in this area lead to?Method: We have used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Data has been collected through a survey which we have put together and analyzed both based on the results we got from the survey but also based on the reactions we received from the participants. The results are presented both in text and in diagrams.Result & Conclusions: The results we got from the survey indicate that the knowledge among our participants is much worse than what would be desired.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur man som belysnings-planerare i Italien arbetar och tänker kring belysning. Vi ville också ta reda på om det finns skillnader i sättet att arbeta som belysningsplanerare i Italien gentemot Sverige och vilka skillnaderna är. Undersökningen bidrar med ny kunskap och förståelse kring belysningsplanering i ett större geografiskt perspektiv.Frågeställningarna är följande:Vad har italienska belysningsplanerare för fokus i sitt arbete med belysningsplanering?Vad har svenska belysningsplanerare för fokus i sitt arbete med belysningsplanering?Vilka eventuella skillnader finns det mellan italienska och svenska belysningsplanerares sätt att arbeta?För att svara på frågeställningarna valde vi att genomföra en utforskande studie. Vi valde att använda oss av öppna individuella intervjuer med belysningsplanerare från Sverige och Italien för att på så sätt kunna gå på djupet i våra frågeställningar.

The rising demand for housing in recent years has resulted in a need and an increase in cost housing projects. The need has led property owners wanting to build old office buildings to apartments. The case study is carried out in Lycksele town and in close contact with consultancy TM (Technician Mercantile) ? consulting, which has operations in the area.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to research and analyze how the establishment in new markets of small and medium Swedish fashion companies can be made more efficient from a network perspective. Methodology: The researchers have decided to take a phenomenological standpoint and undertake an exploratory study in order to gain understanding of the phenomenon of market entry and the use of networks. The researchers have chosen to undertake a qualitative study and to adopt an abductive approach. Two ?case companies? have been chosen which are Filippa K and House of Dagmar.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka och beskriva chilenares upplevelser av att återvandra till sitt hemland Chile efter att ha varit bosatta i Sverige som flyktingar. Teori: Bubers dialogfilosofi samt begreppet stöd hämtat från House studie från 1981. Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ och deduktiv strategi.
