Purpose: The objective of this study is to illustrate how participants in leaderless based projects communicate with each other. Several studies have focused on technology-supported projects, such as Open source projects, with an established project manager and goal. There is a lack, to the best of our knowledge, in studies that deal with the communication pattern in a leaderless computer supported collaborative project.Method: We have chosen to use a quantitative method where we systematically group several messages according to their content. This method was used in a similar study to illustrate the communication between participants involved in an Open source project. We have taken the same Kripendorff based method and adapted it to our study by adding more descriptive variables.Theoretical perspectives: Manuel Castell discusses the aspects of a new communication power that is rooted in the individual as part of a larger creative audience.

Bakgrund och problem: För att företag ska klara sig i den hårda konkurrenssituationsom råder idag krävs att de ständigt förändras. Dessa förändringar bör genomföras påett sådant sätt att de gynnar företagets prestation genom att öka medarbetarnasmotivationsnivå. Att dra nytta av företagets humankapital blir allt viktigare då det somdriver lönsamhet och tillväxt i ett företag rör sig från utnyttjandet av fysiska resurser tillatt använda sitt icke?materiella kapital optimalt. Utmaningen företagen ställs inför idagär att ständigt förbättra sin prestation för att locka kunder och klara konkurrensen.

På lång sikt är en ekonomisk tillväxt driven av teknologiska förändringar samt innovationer. Teknologin har gett oss möjligheten att bli innovativa genom helt andra vägar, där fler samarbeten sker över gränser. Open Innovation är ett fenomen som bygger på öppet samarbete mellan organisationer och externa aktörer. Mer transparens och öppenhet för externa kunskaper kan generera nya värden och bidra till den interna utvecklingen. Förekommande exempel på detta sorts samarbete är många, där syftet kan vara att tillsammans skapa nya produkter och eller utveckla nya marknadsföringsvägar.

AbstraktRöntgen är ett område där man ställer frågan om processen skulle kunna automatiseras för att göra den enklare för sjuksköterskor. På så sätt ökar antalet patienter som kan röntgas eftersom det skulle gå snabbare. Med hjälp av datorseende och en servostyrd röntgenkamera kan man förverkliga delar av dessa drömmar genom att låta röntgenkameran själv justera sig efter en patient och även flyttas till en vald kroppsdel.Här undersöks och testas Open-source biblioteket OpenCV. En prototyp på ett automatiskt system tas fram med syftet att testa OpenCVs funktionalitet och besvara ett antal frågor:Hur kan röntgen automatiseras genom användning av Open-source programvarubibliotek med inriktning på bildbehandling?Vilka för ? och nackdelar kan användandet av ett datorseendebibliotek vara?Kan man med dagens teknik utveckla en automatisk lösning som kan göras till en kommersiell produkt?.

Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish national authority responsible for the work politics, and its main purpose is to create and build a solid and sustainable job market.Economic crises together with changes in the society and in the organization over the past few years mean that the unemployed individuals that come in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen are no longer a homogenous group. A lot of effort is put into helping those who may find it difficult to enter the work environment, such as youths (19 ? 26 years old), people who have been unemployed or on sick leave for a long period of time, people with disabilities or immigrants who are newly arrived in Sweden.A harder social and economic climate can lead to frustration among the unemployed which mean that security measures at the offices has had to become adjusted. Local offices now have a public area where they have meetings with their clients and a locked Open plan office space to which the public have no access. Working within an Open plan office environment can cause health problems, mostly due to the constant background noise that comes from people having conversations on the phone, or with each other.

AbstractThis work is about children?s motor activity. You can often hear in media about sedentary children, and that one of the factors which contributed to this is computers and things like that. The main goal with this work is to find out how preschool teachers take care of children?s joy of movement and how they work to promote children?s progress of motor activity.

Denna studie tacklar ett av de problem som modern IP-telefoni brottas med, som gör att det är svårare att konkurrera med traditionell telefoni: fördröjningar på grund av otillräckliga Session Initiation Protocol-servrar (SIP). Genom tester av de viktigaste faktorerna jämförs fyra högaktuella Open Source SIP-servrar: OpenSIPS, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH och Yate. Avsikten är att underlätta valet av SIP-server för nya applikationer inom IP-telefoni, öka prestandan samt snabba på utvecklingen. Studien behandlar de intressantaste faktorerna vid val SIP, såsom användarvänlighet, hastighet, lagring av användardata samt ljudkvalité. Slutsatsen blev att Kamailio stod som klar segrare, med överlägsna resultat i jämförelse med övriga servrar, på de parametrar som valts ut.

During our education to become lighting designers at Jönköping University, the artificial lighting has been in focus. Therefore we wanted to learn more about daylight. We chose to do this from a visual approach in Open plan offices. Since daylight is part of the architects´ responsibility to master, we wanted to examine what architects think of when they plan daylight environments in Open plan offices and how this is expressed in the buildings with focus on the visual factors.Our questions at issue are:What knowledge do architects have concerning daylight planning, and how do they use this knowledge in their practice?How well do the chosen daylight environments meet the end-users need of a good visual environment? The study consists of three case studies, carried out in the same way.

Pulsatilla vernalis is one of several endangered plant species that benefit from wildfires and small scale disturbance events that repel competing vegetation and create Open patches in the vegetation cover. Previous studies argue that Pulsatilla vernalis is decreasing in numbers due to vegetation changes associated with the decrease in wildfires, forest grazing and changes in forest management. This is a study about the relation between the Swedish school and the political system of Sweden. I wanted to see if the relation had changed since the election of 2010 as it was in that election the Sweden Democrats got over five percent of the votes and took seat in the Swedish parliament. The thing that is unique about this election is that it was really the first time a right-wing party had been elected into the Swedish parliament. Many experts argue that this is the first xenophobic party that has been elected into the Swedish parliament. This led to a problem for schools and their principals and a difficult question to answer because xenophobia is contrary to the school?s core values and the school?s democratic mission.Should the school still be Open for political parties? How do schools manage to distinguish between political information and political propaganda? If parties still are welcome into the schools, which parties should be allowed? The equality ombudsman has said in a report that the schools have to comply with the principle of objectivity, which stipulates that the public sector has to be unbiased.I have chosen to make use of a qualitative method because I think the study then gets a deeper understanding of the topic.

Ericsson har utvecklat ett ramverk för multimediakommunikation som heter Mario. Mario kan användas för att sätta upp video- och ljud-samtal över IP och finns fungerande på Android och iOS. Mario är en del av web browsern Bowser som finns att hämta på Google Play eller App Store. Bowser möjliggör att köra WebRTC applikationer skrivna i HTML5 och JavaScript på Android och iOS.Nu när Microsoft släpper sina nya plattformar, Windows RT, Windows 8 och Windows Phone 8 så finns ett intresse att försöka flytta detta ramverk till dessa plattformar. Vi kommer göra ett försök att porta Mario till Windows RT.

Tumble dryers and drying cabinets have to a large extent replaced the traditional way of drying clothes outdoors. They are faster, more convenient, require less space and can be operated regardless of weather conditions. This replacement has significantly increased residential energy consumption, due to the fact that tumbles dryers consume large amounts of electrical energy. In the USA 9 % of the households electric energy is consumed when drying clothes. Over 4 million tumble dryers are sold in Europe each year and 20 % of the residential electricity consumption in Sweden is used drying and washing clothes.
