Bakgrund: I och med den tilltagande teknologiska utvecklingen och globaliseringen ställs dagens företag ständigt inför nya utmaningar. För att handskas med detta måste företag arbeta för att skapa innovationer på ett sätt som de inte gjort tidigare. Det handlar om att släppa sargen ochvåga göra saker påett nytt sätt! Ett sätt för dematt göra detta är att tillämpa synsättet som kallas ?Open Innovation?, alltså att man tar hjälp av intressenter utanför företaget för att bli mer innovativa. Crowdsourcing är en del av open innovation ochinnebär bland annat attföretagtar hjälp av ?folkmassan?för att skapa nya idéereller lösa problem.

Background During the child?s first year of life there is a continuous contact with the Child Health Services (CHS) and the parents feel confident and involved. After the first year, the visits to the CHS is reduced at the same time as the everyday life changes for the family as the child starts going to day-care and the parents often go back to work.Aim To examine what it is like being a parent to children aged one to five and what kind of parenting support parents of children aged one to five are in need of.Method Semi-structured interviews were used to interview 25 parents in 21 telephone interviews and one focus group with 4 parents. The recruiting of parents was done on site at one open day-care and with the help of CHS nurses in Sweden. There were 10 men and 15 women.

The purpose of this study is to examine the medial depiction of Muslims in the case of Pastor Terry Jones' intention to burn the Quran. Our study is based on theoretical framework regarding an alleged clash of civilizations, how that leads to global conflicts and controls the world politics. It?s also based on the western way of characterize Muslims as violent, irrational human beings, and how mass media have a tendency to depict Muslims as ?the others?. The questions we aim to seek answers to are: How were Muslims portrayed in CNN's and Al-Jazeera's reporting regarding Terry Jones plan to burn the Quran? Which discourses exist about Muslims in each news channel and what are the main differences between them? The qualitative method used is a critical discourse analysis on empirical data consistently of twelve articles.

Denna uppsats handlar om öppna förskolan, en verksamhet för barn och föräldrar som vissa kommuner väljer att tillhandahålla. Trots att verksamheten funnits drygt 30 år, är den sparsamt utforskad. Uppsatsarbetet har därför inriktats mot ett explorativt sökande efter olika föreställningar om öppna förskolan. Föreställningarna har på formuleringsarenan eftersökts i tryckta källor, och på realiseringsarenan genom en etnografiskt inspirerad fältstudie i två öppna förskolor. Syftet har varit att uppnå förståelse för arenornas föreställningar om öppna förskolan och hur dessa föreställningar förhåller sig till varandra.

The aim of this study is to widen our knowledge about the basic idea about having an open preschool for adopted children as understood by parents of adopted children and a preschool teacher. Sweden has a large number of international adoptions, in an international comparison among the highest numbers of adoptions per capita. Interviews were carried out with seven adoptive parents and one preschool teacher teaching at a special preschool for adopted children. It was found that adoptive parents had no particular problems with placing their children in an "ordinary" preschool. However, they choose to place the children in an open preschool solely for adopted children because of the possibility of sharing similar experiences as parents and children as well.

Purpose: The objective of this study is to illustrate how participants in leaderless based projects communicate with each other. Several studies have focused on technology-supported projects, such as open source projects, with an established project manager and goal. There is a lack, to the best of our knowledge, in studies that deal with the communication pattern in a leaderless computer supported collaborative project.Method: We have chosen to use a quantitative method where we systematically group several messages according to their content. This method was used in a similar study to illustrate the communication between participants involved in an open source project. We have taken the same Kripendorff based method and adapted it to our study by adding more descriptive variables.Theoretical perspectives: Manuel Castell discusses the aspects of a new communication power that is rooted in the individual as part of a larger creative audience.

Bakgrund och problem: För att företag ska klara sig i den hårda konkurrenssituationsom råder idag krävs att de ständigt förändras. Dessa förändringar bör genomföras påett sådant sätt att de gynnar företagets prestation genom att öka medarbetarnasmotivationsnivå. Att dra nytta av företagets humankapital blir allt viktigare då det somdriver lönsamhet och tillväxt i ett företag rör sig från utnyttjandet av fysiska resurser tillatt använda sitt icke?materiella kapital optimalt. Utmaningen företagen ställs inför idagär att ständigt förbättra sin prestation för att locka kunder och klara konkurrensen.

På lång sikt är en ekonomisk tillväxt driven av teknologiska förändringar samt innovationer. Teknologin har gett oss möjligheten att bli innovativa genom helt andra vägar, där fler samarbeten sker över gränser. Open Innovation är ett fenomen som bygger på öppet samarbete mellan organisationer och externa aktörer. Mer transparens och öppenhet för externa kunskaper kan generera nya värden och bidra till den interna utvecklingen. Förekommande exempel på detta sorts samarbete är många, där syftet kan vara att tillsammans skapa nya produkter och eller utveckla nya marknadsföringsvägar.

Purpose ? The purpose of the study was to examine how to promote a personal trainer in the fitness industry, as a personal brand, with digital media.Method ? To fulfill the purpose, the author have used three different methods. Both literature and quantitative and qualitative data in forms of a digital survey and interviews with two personal trainers regarding marketing and branding.Result ? Based on the collected literature and empirical evidence, facts could identify the importance of having a strong brand as a personal trainer, in order to recruit new clients. The result revealed that digital media is an excellent communication channel to nurture the relationship when you already have existing clients, but not when you want to recruit new customers.Implications ? This study is only developed through empirical data from a particular demography and a certain range, which could give a different result with other respondents.

AbstraktRöntgen är ett område där man ställer frågan om processen skulle kunna automatiseras för att göra den enklare för sjuksköterskor. På så sätt ökar antalet patienter som kan röntgas eftersom det skulle gå snabbare. Med hjälp av datorseende och en servostyrd röntgenkamera kan man förverkliga delar av dessa drömmar genom att låta röntgenkameran själv justera sig efter en patient och även flyttas till en vald kroppsdel.Här undersöks och testas open-source biblioteket OpenCV. En prototyp på ett automatiskt system tas fram med syftet att testa OpenCVs funktionalitet och besvara ett antal frågor:Hur kan röntgen automatiseras genom användning av open-source programvarubibliotek med inriktning på bildbehandling?Vilka för ? och nackdelar kan användandet av ett datorseendebibliotek vara?Kan man med dagens teknik utveckla en automatisk lösning som kan göras till en kommersiell produkt?.

Media has power and impact. It is therefore important for managers to be able to handle media storms when they arise. If not, the brand can be affected negatively. It is managers who should learn to handle media storms because the managers constitute an important part of the external face of the company. Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish national authority responsible for the work politics, and its main purpose is to create and build a solid and sustainable job market.Economic crises together with changes in the society and in the organization over the past few years mean that the unemployed individuals that come in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen are no longer a homogenous group. A lot of effort is put into helping those who may find it difficult to enter the work environment, such as youths (19 ? 26 years old), people who have been unemployed or on sick leave for a long period of time, people with disabilities or immigrants who are newly arrived in Sweden.A harder social and economic climate can lead to frustration among the unemployed which mean that security measures at the offices has had to become adjusted. Local offices now have a public area where they have meetings with their clients and a locked open plan office space to which the public have no access. Working within an open plan office environment can cause health problems, mostly due to the constant background noise that comes from people having conversations on the phone, or with each other.

AbstractThis work is about children?s motor activity. You can often hear in media about sedentary children, and that one of the factors which contributed to this is computers and things like that. The main goal with this work is to find out how preschool teachers take care of children?s joy of movement and how they work to promote children?s progress of motor activity.

Denna studie tacklar ett av de problem som modern IP-telefoni brottas med, som gör att det är svårare att konkurrera med traditionell telefoni: fördröjningar på grund av otillräckliga Session Initiation Protocol-servrar (SIP). Genom tester av de viktigaste faktorerna jämförs fyra högaktuella Open Source SIP-servrar: OpenSIPS, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH och Yate. Avsikten är att underlätta valet av SIP-server för nya applikationer inom IP-telefoni, öka prestandan samt snabba på utvecklingen. Studien behandlar de intressantaste faktorerna vid val SIP, såsom användarvänlighet, hastighet, lagring av användardata samt ljudkvalité. Slutsatsen blev att Kamailio stod som klar segrare, med överlägsna resultat i jämförelse med övriga servrar, på de parametrar som valts ut.
