Vilka psykologiska processer som gör att vissa individer klarar sig bättre än andra i påfrestande situationer har väckt allt större intresse hos forskarna. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka vilken betydelse socialt stöd har för anpassningen till kronisk reumatisk sjukdom. Studien utfördes i form av tolv halvstrukturerade intervjuer. Analys av materialet som helhet antydde att intervjupersonerna ansåg att socialt stöd från omgivningen hade hjälpt dem att anpassa sig till sjukdomen. Vården, i form av bland annat läkare, framstod som ett särskilt viktigt socialt stöd.

Mergers and acquisitions are common phenomenon in today´s society in order to increase shareholder value. Two years ago a fusion of Sweden´s two largest companies in the industry of real estate took place and even though three out of four mergers and acquisitions financially fail this certain case turned out highly successful. The aim of this thesis is to examine how the organizational structure and the management control have been designed and characterized the organizational performance and furthermore what are the success factors of the integration. By studying an acquisition and its potential effects on organizational structure and management control parallel to a model that describes the best practice guidelines for managers to successfully deliver value from their acquisitions, it can be shown that an acquisition has direct effects both on the acquirer and the acquired company and thus the new organizational structure. The main results, thus, is that through active leadership, increased specialization, and more decentralized and thus efficient management control a new organization has emerged consisting of the best features of two separate worlds..

Bakgrund och problem1999 utfärdade BFN (bokföringsnämnden) en anvisning rörande redovisning av helägt dotterbolag, BFNAR 1999:1. Debatten kring detta område har pågått sedan mitten på femtiotalet, då olika uppfattningar om hur fusioner ska redovisas har varit ständigt närvarande. Eftersom olika uppfattningar finns, är inte alla nöjda med BFN?s lösning som en generell anvisning för redovisning av fusion av helägt dotterbolag. Nu (2005) har anvisningen blivit praktiserad under snart 5 år.

Arbetet består av en undersökning av förskollärare examinerade 2002 och deras första tid i yrket. Fokus i undersökningen har varit på lärarnas ambitioner och på svårigheter att förverkliga dessa. Tolkningen av materialet har varit att försöka förstå relationer mellan ambitionerna och svårigheterna. Övergången från lärarutbildningen till att arbeta i verksamheten, är den fruktsam för professionens utveckling? Det är ett fenomen jag undersökt.

Denna uppsats studerar formella regler och informella rutiner utifrån det institutionellaramverket med ett fusionsperspektiv. Studien har företagits med hjälp av semistruktureradeintervjuer av anställda på olika nivåer i den valda organisationen, Trafikverket. Fusionenskonsekvenser för de formella reglerna och informella rutinerna visade sig avhängigt huruvidagamla tillvägagångssätt slopats eller behållits. I organisationen vi undersökte inträffade detförra vilket ledde till att den tidigare presenterade bilden av den lösa kopplingenskonsekvenser inte gällde. Skillnaden kan förklaras av fusionsmomentet.

I september 2007 lanserades en ny varumärkesplattform för Sverige. Denna uppsats har undersökt hur denna är utformad och vilken betydelse den har för svenska företag. För att genomföra en genomförlig analys har även det svenska varumärket i helhet analyserats. Detta för att fastslå om det har någon betydelse för svenska företag. En kvalitativ metod har använts där den primära data blir de genomförda intervjuerna.

This study is mostly based on previous research, which includes Sub-national actor?s attitudes and regional action towards the European Union. The purpose of the study is to investigate if four Swedish municipalities in Värmland operate internationally towards the European Union and deepen an understanding of their actions. The main research question is: - How can we increase our understanding of municipal action against the European Union? The research questions of this study are answered through qualitative method and semi-structured interviews were conducted.

Uppsatsen undersöker hur de olika panoreringsteknikerna, direkt/ambient och direkt-överallt, för 5.1 surround uppfattas utav lyssnare. Enligt direkt/ambient ska alla direkta källor panoreras till frontkanalerna (L, C, R) och endast ambiens finnas i surroundkanalerna (Ls, Rs). Enligt direkt-överallt kan direkta källor panoreras till alla kanaler. Ljudstimuli i tre genrer har utav undertecknad framställts, rock/hårdrock, jazz/fusion och hip hop. Ett exempel enligt direkt/ambient och ett enligt direkt-överallt framställdes i varje genre.

The purpose of this report is to evaluate different methods for identifying states in robot models. Both linear and non-linear filters exist among these methods and are compared to each other. Advantages, disadvantages and problems that can occur during tuning and running are presented. Additional measurements from accelerometers are added and their use with above mentioned methods for state estimation is evaluated. The evaluation of methods in this report is mainly based on simulations in Matlab, even though some experiments have been performed on laboratory equipment.The conclusion indicates that simple non-linear models with few states can be more accurately estimated with a Kalman filter than with an extended Kalman filter, as long as only linear measurements are used.

This essay examines the love affair between the two main characters of Rut Hillarp?s novel Sindhia. It draws attention to the schism between the Surrealist version of love as an extatic-religious fusion of the sexes ? that in a way marks the relationship ? and the yet remarkable coolness between the two lovers.With the theories of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, I will show how the man and the woman project their unrealistic individual fantasies on each other, thus rendering impossible the Surrealist Meeting, with its road to an absolute reality. The Surrealist "l?amour fou", I will argue, is trapped in the ritualized "l?amor interruptus"; a lacanian term for a certain kind of love that wishes to conceal the fact that desire will never find its object.

This master thesis is a study on how a rategyro triad, an accelerometer triad, and a magnetometer triad can be integrated into a navigation system, estimating a vehicle?s attitude, i.e. its roll, tipp, and heading angles. When only a rategyro triad is used to estimate a vehicle?s attitude, a drift in the attitude occurs due to sensor errors.

With a hermeneutical method using narratology this thesis is interpreting the auteure Lars von Trier´s discussed movie Antichrist. On one hand within the limits of the hermeneutic Paul Riceours analysis of structure is used to reconstruct the narrative of the film out of the different part of discourses that I have construed in my first reading to find out a deeper comprehension of the relation between the characters and their relations to the different discourses. On the other hand the discourses which extracts out of His and Hers actions and statements are related to the clues that I´ve found out from interviews with von Trier regarding Antichrist where he, among other things, touches upon philosophical work of Friedrich Nietzsche and his own disregard about protestantism and religion. All in all this first phase of interpretation is termed the different horizons which I finally interprete and coalesce with my subjects comprehension on a metadiegetic and meta-metadiegetic level. By this a ?fusion of horizons? in the sense of Hans-Georg Gadamer can take place, which directly leads into the big scene of Relevations.

This paper investigates the grammatical construction intransitive motionconstruction with GOAL as it is used in Swedish (Swe. intransitivrörelsekonstruktion med MÅL).I examine in which ways the construction is productive, i.e. thepossibility to use the construction with new verbs as well as withordinary motion verbs with new functions. The notion of productivity isbased on the construction?s type frequency and semantic openness(Goldberg 1995, 2006; Barðdal 2008; Bybee 2010).

The aim of this work is to gain understanding of how predictions and images of future are created and maintained and how they are changed in society. An interdisciplinary approach to cultural and social aspects is used to examine how collective images about future are created. The distinction between collective images and private images is problematised. The subject matter is extracted from a previous explorative examination about Do It Yourself and OpenSource culture which are concepts of collective learning. That work is described in the foreword.The question ?How is a collective image about the future created?? is central for this paper.The interdisciplinary approach is a cross reference synthesis of philosophies, educational studies, film studies, strategicstudies and future studies.

Det råder i dagens läge en hård konkurrens mellan såväl bolag på den inre marknaden som mellan olika regioner. Möjligheten till ökat samarbete mellan bolag från olika EU-länder är en viktig del i att stärka Europas och de europeiska bolagens konkurrenskraftighet, vilket exempelvis kan göras genom gränsöverskridande fusioner. Det tionde bolagsdirektivet är således tänkt att möjliggöra och underlätta sammanslagningar av bolag från olika medlemsländer. Den 13 december 2005 kom det dock en dom från EG-domstolen som i viss mån kan tänkas underminera tanken bakom det tionde bolagsdirektivet. I Sevic Systems-domen, uttalar nämligen EG-domstolen att det ändå, trots att det tionde bolagsdirektivet ej ännu trätt i kraft, är möjligt att genomföra en gränsöverskridande fusion mellan två bolag, även om ett sådant förfarande ej är möjligt enligt de berörda ländernas lagstiftningar.
