The purpose with this essay is to investigate whether the legal capital can be justified as creditor protection and whether the legal capital prevent entrepreneurship.Historically the legal capital has been justified by means of creditor protection. Nowdays the development within EU rather reduces or abolish the legal capital. Sweden has recently, 1 of April 2010, reduced the legal capital from 100 000 Swedish crowns to 50 000 Swedish crowns. In the preparatory work it has been admitted that the legal capital does not in reality Offer creditors much protection. Although the lawmaker decides to retain the legal capital and justifies the legal capitals existence with the argument that involuntary creditors has the need of the legal capital.

The recent financial crisis has entailed in a fierce debate whether CEOs variable remuneration has caused unsound risk exposure in public companies. Hence it is considered as interesting to elucidate if this connection exists empirically. With grounding in principal-agent theory, and its implicit assumption of risk adverse agents, this study aims to find empirical evidence for a positively correlated relationship between CEOs variable remuneration and company risk exposure. Through a regression analysis of multidimensional data from 102 listed Swedish companies during the period of 2000-2009, we show that the relationship between CEOs variable remuneration and company risk, in contrast to our expectations, is significantly negative. The coherent result is interpreted as the inherent risk in companies seems to explain the usage of variable remuneration for CEO, rather than vice versa.

The study uses a quantitative approach with qualitative elements which has its foundation in the theory of social constructivism and priming theory. Political science can be studied from the perspective of power, and media has a central role of this power.

Stormwater from trafficked areas often contains high pollution levels. In traditional stormwater management design, stormwater is first transported away through piped networks, and then in most cases passes through oil separators before finally reaching the recipients. While this traditional method removes certain pollutants from the stormwater, it does not reduce the total flow, as in the case of ecological stormwater management. In the ecological method the stormwater is not simply transported away, but is recirculated through infiltration, percolation, and detention. The aim of this study is to investigate possible advantages of ecological management designs, in contrast to traditional management.

This qualitative study is focused on the way ?papperslösa? (undocumented/illegal/irregular immigrants) are portrayed in Swedish daily newspapers, what images are presented in the articles, what discourses permeate the text, what identities are being constructed, etc. The empirical data consists of thirteen articles published in Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet (two of the biggest daily news papers in Sweden) during the period 2010-10-01 ? 2011-04-01, and I?ve used a type of discourse analysis called ?diskursanalys med inriktning på identitetskonstruktion? (?discourse analysis with focus on identity construction?), as the method to analyze the articles. The results of the analysis showed that four discourses and identities were constructed, re-produced and upheld in these articles.

Systemavveckling behandlas ytterst lite i befintlig litteratur, till exempel hur en systematisk avvecklingsprocess skulle kunna genomföras. Utifrån detta utformades uppsatsens syfte att belysa ämnet systemavveckling och kartlägga centrala begrepp. För att uppnå syftet har två fallstudier genomförts samt en genomgång av befintlig litteratur.

This bachelor thesis explores the library collaboration "HelGe-libraries" goals, guidelines and strategies for their resource sharing of library books and digital resources. The questions asked were: What does the resource sharing look like when it comes to media and services? What goals and guidelines do they have for the resource sharing? What common strategies do they have for the resource sharing? What challenges have they encountered with resource sharing and how have they dealt with them?The theoretical framework consists of Jennifer Rowleys theory of innovation strategies for libraries and Rosabeth Moss Kanters theory on the art of alliances. The method used to collect material was interviews and document analysis. Four informants were interviewed.My study concludes that the "HelGe-libraries" has formulated goals for their resource sharing and that the resource sharing is connected to their goals.

The purpose of this study is to examine the situation of the school for boys 15-21 years of age lacking compulsory school attendance and is being located at five residential care units from the pedagogues? point of view. The study was conducted by interviewing four pedagogical leaders and two teachers. The results demonstrate that the boys can choose the subjects they study as well as the amount of time they spend on studying each week. The teachers include non-learning activities during their lessons.

Detta arbete är en forskningsöversikt över kränkande behandling och mobbning av sexuella minoriteter i svenska och nordamerikanska skolor, samt skolors antimobbningsarbete och vilka förhållningssätt som verkar kunna motverka negativa trender. Ramen för uppsatsen är den svenska lagstiftningen om diskriminering och kränkande behandling av barn och ungdomar, som ställs i relation till forskning i skolor för att påvisa samband och skillnader mellan teori och praktik. Nordamerikansk forskning är inkluderad för att ge mer insikt i ämnesområdet och att bidra med ett transnationellt perspektiv. Den valda forskningen visar att sexuella minoriteter löper en högre risk att falla Offer för kränkande behandling och mobbning, samtidigt som konsekvenserna är högst oroväckande i form av bl.a. nedsatt psykisk hälsa, depression och självmordsförsök.

Syfte och frågeställningar: Vårt syfte är att belysa hur nättidningarnas makt konkret kommer till uttryck i beskrivningen av romer. Syftet nås genom följande forskningsfrågor: Hur konstrueras bilden av romer i inrikesnyheter i Aftonbladets och Dagens Nyheters nättidning? Hur förhåller sig nyhetstexterna till romernas utsatta situation? Vilka diskrimineringsmekanismer och maktstrukturer kan identifieras i sättet att skriva om romer? Metod och material: Undersökningen bygger på sex inrikesartiklar publicerade i Dagens Nyheters och Aftonbladets nättidning under 2014. Dessa artiklar har analyserats med hjälp av Teun A. van Dijks kritiska diskursanalysmodell, men även Kristina Boréus typologi kring diskursiv diskriminering används som ett komplement. Huvudresultat: Studien visar att nättidningarna framställer romer i negativa sammanhang och konfliktartade situationer där de beskrivs som diskriminerade, oskyldiga Offer.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate how an industrial company can increase customer value by Offering added services to their core products. Theses added services can be categorized into the three different parts of the buying process. The company that was investigated is Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner in Piteå, a large international industrial company active on a business to business market. We have conducted a case study and made interviews with three respondents within the company. The result of the study show that the company Offers value added services in each stage of the buying process.

A too large public sector impedes the economic development of Sweden and more privatization could increase the efficiency, quality and diversity of the services Offered. It is therefore important that firms operating in traditionally public sectors are given the opportunity to grow. We have through a case study examined two mid-size firms that Offer services to, and compete with, the public sector. This thesis aims to describe the growth strategies these firms are using and if competing with the public sector implies any differences in possibilities or barriers when it comes to the firms? growth.
