People play games now more than ever before. While the digital gaming industry dominates the market, boardgaming has been living in its shadow. Board games Offer a physical tangibility and a social experience that can be found in few digital games. How do we create a tool that further builds upon those strengths? The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of developing a service that consists of an mobile application and board game events to promote social face-to-face interaction. Focus has been on the social face-to-face interaction in the context of a board game session.

The main purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the understanding of information needs of eight vocational studies teachers at the Handicraft Programme at a senior high school. I have analyzed the teachers? needs of information and the empirical material has been collected through interviews with eight vocational studies teachers. To analyze the interviews I have used Lars Höglund and Olle Persson?s model for information needs and a model for information sources.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how six fantasynovels reflects or breaks the heteronormativity in society bylooking at how gender roles and sexuality are described.The theoretical framework is based on Judith Butler's theoryabout the heterosexual matrix which requires two separategenders and a compulsory heterosexuality and YvonneHirdman's two principles about dichotomy and hierarchy.The method used was idea analysis where dimensions basedon the theoretical framework were constructed. Thesedimensions were: behaviour, tasks, relationships and roles.The result shows that all of the books both breaks andreflects the society's values on gender and sexuality. Thereare some stereotypes present, for example that intuition isassociated with femininity and physical strength withmasculinity. However, the books also Offer characters ofboth sexes that break the gender stereotypes, such asstrong women and emotional men.

To be able to increase customer satisfaction Microsoft must know how their partners and customers define product quality. This study investigates product quality in general terms but also in the context of the product Microsoft Dynamics CRM in addition to experience from some of Microsoft?s customers and partners.

Forskningen är motstridig när det kommer till huruvida män är utsatta för våld i nära relation. Det talas om ett symmetriskt och om ett asymmetriskt våld. Det första syftar på att män i samma utsträckning som kvinnor blir Offer för relationsvåld medan det senare står för att majoriteten som utsätts för denna typ av våld är en kvinna. In spite of the strict law companies seem to have problems understanding the differences between what is legal and what is illegal. Bribery and corruption are not only counter-acted within the law but are also a frowned upon socially and morally. The common thought is that to accept a bribe is more corrupt than to Offer one.

Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka hur kvinnors och mäns livsvillkor gestaltas i den tanzaniska författaren Elieshi Lemas roman Bränd jord - en kärleksroman (2005) utifrån ett genusperspektiv. I fokus har centrala motiv som rör sedvänjor, utbildning, äktenskap, moderskap och faderskap stått. Jag har också undersökt vilka strategier som karaktärerna använder sig av för att påverka sina liv i ett starkt traditionstyngt samhälle. Analysen visar att romanen gestaltar ett genussystem där manligt och kvinnligt inte bör blandas och där mannen är norm. Detta genussystem ligger väl inkapslat i det traditionella levnadssättet, där könsidentiteten för kvinnor och män formas tidigt.

Our purpose with the study was to investigate how the image of a mother?s role is created by the magazines Mama and Husmodern. Mama is an existing magazine, but Husmodern ceased to exist in 1988. Both magazines focus on children, fashion and housework. We wanted to know what qualities you need to become a good or a bad mother.

Denna uppsats tar sin utgångspunkt i en problematiserande läsning av Edward Saids kritik av främst den västeuropeiska kulturens negativa representationer av framförallt den arabisk-islamska världen. Genom att ta fasta på teorins anti-essentialistiska grundpoäng ifrågasätts dess icke uttalade men effektiva tendens att återproducera en missvisande dikotomi. Endast ett sådant ifrågasättande kan på allvar öppna möjligheten att se bortom föreställningen om araberna som passiva och viljelösa Offer. En analys av muslimska författares kritik av islambilden i europeiska skolböcker, jämförd med hur islam framställs i svenska historieläroböcker, visar att de senare är långt mer anti-orientalistiska än muslimernas egna islambild. Studier har ändå visat att missförhållanden är vanligt förekommande i äldrevården. Syftet var att beskriva hot och våld i relation till vård av äldre. För att besvara syftet gjordes en artikelgranskning med kvalitativ ansats.

Sweden has had statutory audit, which also includes a management audit, for all companies since 1988. A legislative proposal now suggests that the statutory audit shall be abolished for all small and medium sized companies starting on July 1, 2010. The aim for this master?s thesis is therefore to study how the service of auditing will be affected by the legislative proposal. To answer the research question the authors have taken on a qualitative approach and fifteen interviews with representatives for different Swedish auditing firms have been completed.

Parenting is increasingly seen as a profession which requires training and support with the purpose of creating improved interaction. A central question appears to be how the concept of interaction is defined. The aim of this study is to examine how training programs, trainers and parents perceive this concept, whether they define it the same way and whether trainers succeed in reaching parents with the message of what it actually is that will improve in the area of interaction. The study uses a phenomenological approach and a qualitative method.The research subject is the parental training program Komet, a manual-based education program for parents. The goal of the program is to Offer families training in methods that have strong scientific support in order to reduce conflicts and to improve the relation and interaction between children and parents.One important result of the study is that parents and trainers viewed the concept of interaction from different perspectives.

The aim of this study is to investigate the public libraries use of their websites in their marketing. Our study is based on the websites of 60 public libraries. The libraries are chosen because of their geographical location in three different provinces? Skåne in the south, Östergötland in the middle and Norrbotten in the north. These three choices enable us to cover densely as well as thinly populated areas, the agricultural district, the woodland and cities of various sizes.

This thesis is based on an assignment from a unit within an international group manufacturing industrial products. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze and suggest ways to improve the cost accounting system in use at the unit. The main source of empirical data has been interviews with employees. The theoretical framework is based on a comparison between traditional/standard costing and activity-based costing (ABC). The cost accounting system in use is described in detail and classified as a traditional/standard cost accounting system.

Uppsatsens syfte var att beskriva och analysera kring varför män begår övergrepp, våldtäkt, mot kvinnor ur ett förövarpsykologiskt och psykodynamiskt perspektiv så som det beskrivs i ett urval av forskningslitteraturen. Den frågeställning som har varit i fokus för uppsatsen är; hur litteraturen beskriver och diskuterar ur ett förövarperspektiv med fokus på det psykodynamiska perspektivet övergrepp, våldtäkt, mot kvinnor. Studien utfördes i form av en selektiv kunskapsöversikt och bygger på ett urval av litteratur av svenska forskare och forskare med internationell koppling. Huvudinriktningen var att fokusera på utvalda teman där självbild/identitet, uppväxt, manlighet och alkohol användes för att belysa och strukturera upp problembilden. De viktigaste resultaten visade att förövarna var män som tidigt i livet blivit traumatiserade av olika slag.
