The purpose of this study was to find out what are the information needs of the nurses and if the hospital library can satisfy these needs, and see how the hospital library reaches the nurses with their information provision. The main questions are: what kinds of service exist at the hospital library? What kinds of needs have the nurses concerning the hospital library? How are the needs satisfied by the hospital library? What marketing strategies are used by the hospital library to reach out to the nurses? Is it enough to achieve the goal? The method in this study was a case study with the emphasis on the qualitative interviews. The study was conducted at the hospital library at Södra Älvsborgs Sjukhus in Borås. The interviews concerned the nurses views on the hospital library, information needs and marketing.

GPS is perhaps the future in agriculture. The next years will show it but the precision becomes only better and better and the number of users becomes only more and more. This work shows experiences from today's users and how the profitability can be improved on a farm with normal plant cultivation. The aim is to show how big the actual advantage can be to have a GPS and how good precision there is with the equipment. John Deere and Trimble are the big producers of GPS equipment to the agriculture.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the library habits of young people, age 15 to 24. Our empirical data are gathered in a survey distributed to 104 young men and women at three different public libraries. The questions are about how young people use the public library, what media and services they use and whether or not they are content with what the public library can Offer them. In our analysis we have compared our results to previous research and used a model by Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen to determine how they use the library.

The aim of our bachelor thesis was to study how the personnel incharge of the mobile websites at two University Libraries and thestudents at those Universities viewed the mobile websites, and iftheir views in any way differed.Our research questions were:Why have the examined Libraries chosen to Offer mobilewebsites?How do the students at the examined Universities experience anduse respective mobile website?Are there differences between the staff?s intentions with themobile websites and how they are used and experienced by thestudents, and how could they be explained?Semistructured interviews were conducted with six staff membersresponsible for the mobile websites and eleven students that hadexperience in using these. The theoretical framework for thisthesis consists of Klasson?s three models for University Librarianspersonas, and the parts of Rogers theory about diffusion ofinnovations that concerns the attributes of innovations and thecommunication channels.The result of the study indicates that there are some differencesabout how the students use and experience the mobile websitesand the staffs intentions for them. The students required contentwhich the staff had discarded.

High-performance equine athletes have an energy requirement that often reaches twice the maintenance requirement. Horses are grazers and adapted to a grass diet, and diets high in grains and concentrates are associated with digestive upsets and behavioural disorders. It could therefore be of interest if the energy requirement of a high-performing horse could be met by forage. It is important that the forage have a high concentration of energy so that the horse is able to consume the whole amount of energy needed from the forage without exceeding the maximum voluntary intake. The purpose of this literature study was to investigate if the energy demand of a high-performance horse can be covered by forage produced under Northern Swedish climate conditions.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur Offer för sexualbrott upplever bemötande av polisen, främst under förhör men också under rättsprocessen. Denna studie lyfter sju berättelser angående anmälan av sexualbrott. Vi har i denna studie analyserat de kvalitativa intervjuerna med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Denna analys gjordes utifrån teorierna stigma-, system- och stämplingsteorin. Genom analysen av intervjuerna har vi bland annat kommit fram till att intervjupersonerna har olika uppfattningar om vad som anses vara ett gott och dåligt bemötande.

En av de största affärerna vi gör i livet är förmodligen då vi köper bostad. Idag råder det en relativt hård konkurrens bland både fastighetsmäklarföretag och fastighetsmäklare. Det gäller därför att leverera tjänsten bättre än konkurrenterna, för att kunna bli ett framgångsrikt fastighetsmäklarföretag på dagens marknad. Ett lyckat koncept kan då vara word-of-mouth, det vill säga rekommendationer. Studier visar att rekommendationer påverkas av kundlojaliteten som i sin tur påverkas av kvaliteten som tjänsten erbjuder, tillfredställelsen kunden känner samt kundnyttan.

Alzheimersjukdom är den vanligaste av alla demenssjukdomar och den ökar i takt med att de äldre utgör allt större del av befolkningen. Det innebär en förändring för hela familjen när någon drabbas av denna kroniska sjukdom. Deras känslor pendlar mellan oro och ilska, mellan skuld och förtvivlan. Även de är Offer - de tillgivna makar och övriga anhöriga som blir vittnen till hur en familjemedlem blir sämre för var dag. Undersökningen bestod av berättelser där huvudkaraktären antingen var tidigare kriminell som begått vålds- eller skattebrott, eller icke-kriminell och befann sig i en svår eller lindrig situation.

Since 1999 Sweden have a law that criminalises the person who buys sexual services instead of criminalising the one who is selling, which in most cases is a woman. Seven years has passed since this law took place and in this study we aim to investigate what kind of help the society Offer women in Malmö, Sweden, who wishes to step out of prostitution. Our aim with this study is also to look at the attitudes among citizens towards the new law and prostitution. The research is qualitative and all the six persons we interviewed has knowledge about the problems the women are facing when they want to step out of prostitution. To explane and analyse the answers we are using the theory of empowerment, labelling theory, the theory of gender socialisation and Jürgen Habermas theory of the lifeworld.The most significant outcome of this study shows a positive result in regard of the laws effectiveness in diminishing street-prostitution to half of what i t was before the law was put into practice.

The aim of this thesis is to examine collaborative tagging as a potential asset to libraries by a review of 10 social bookmarking sites and their features, and a discussion of these features? possible use when the environment changes from the web to a library. Previous research on collaborative tagging is presented, as well as overviews of social bookmarking, folksonomies and the concept of Web 2.0 and Library 2.0. The study itself is presented as a walkthrough of common features and how they work, followed by a schematic overview of which sites have which features. Finally each site is presented in a more detailed manner.

At present Getinge can Offer a new generation of trolleys that they produced in 2011. The trolley used to Getinge various autoclaves and has the primary task to help the user/sterilization personnel to transport shelves or baskets, with or without cargo, from a packing table to the autoclave. The purpose of this thesis has been to develop a primary solution how the docking process between Getinge trolleys and autoclaves can be improved. The work has in most part followed Fredy Olsson principle and primary construction method. The work has included product research, study visit and development of a requirements specification, to satisfy Getinge, their clients and circumvention products requirements.

Nathalia Edenmont is a controversial and uncompromising photo artist who has caused the whole world to rage over her obscene photographs. In this thesis I have researched Edenmonts artistry with help of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieus field analysis. By using Bourdieus's different field concepts I have researched Edenmonts artistic career by concepts such as habitus, consecration and different principles.The starting point of this research has been that Nathalia Edenmont is in the autonomous artistic field. I give examples of images that have been highly debated and I have collected information of how Edenmont sees her own images and her artistry. In this thesis I show amongst other things an example with Edenmonts photograph of dead rabbits with Elizabethan hair styling, cut up mice that work like finger puppets and children who are bound up in wire.Nathalia Edenmont autonomous artistry is deeply rooted in her background and the environment in which she was raised.

Areal is one of the major players in the Swedish market for real estate brokerage of agricultural properties and related additional services. The purpose of this report is to give a better picture of the needs for additional services of property purchasers of Areal. Add-on services are the type of counseling you may need to achieve good economy on an agricultural property. Through a survey of property buyers of Areal information has been collected and compiled. A very good response rate was obtained and the material seemed reliable as it reflected the population in general.

The overall aim of this case study is to find the conditions for pupils in the nine-year compulsory school with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are instructed in the ordinary classroom. The study explores what kind of support the schools Offer these pupils. The study also examines the views of the teachers´, special educators´, principals´ and municipal representatives on what kind of support these pupils need and ought to be Offered.The methods used were qualitative interviews and a questionnaire study.The theoretical basis of the study is the three different perspectives of special pedagogy. These perspectives represent three different views on the disorders of pupils.The overall result shows that the municipality Offers little support for schools. The study shows that there is little collaboration between schools and ASD-specific support outside school.
