Studien avsåg att undersöka om mer attraktiva röster bedöms tillhöra mer attraktiva ansikten. Både manliga och kvinnliga deltagare gjorde attraktionsbedömningar av fyra manliga och fyra kvinnliga röster samt fyra manliga och fyra kvinnliga ansikten. Deltagarna bedömde sedan vilka röster som tillhörde vilka ansikten. Resultatet av undersökningen visade att männen och kvinnorna var överens om vilka röster och ansikten som var mer attraktiva och vilka som var mindre attraktiva. Rösternas attraktionsbedömningar korrelerade positivt med ansiktenas attraktionsbedömningar vilket tyder på att människor till viss del bedömer att mer attraktiva röster tillhör mer attraktiva ansikten.

The purpose of this essay was to, by the ecology of human development theory, examine 10-year old childrens own experience of their lifesituation outside the time of school. The study was based on qualitative interviews with six 10-year old children from a smaller community in Sweden. The main guestions was:1. What is the experience of being 10 year?2.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka individers rädsla för framgång och hur de har lyckas övervinna den rädslan. Det har inte utförts tillräckligt mycket forskning som tar upp hur individer övervinner rädslan för framgång och därför är denna studie fördjupat i det ämnet. En kvalitativ datainsamlingsmetod valdes för att samla in materialet. Fem individer som har övervunnit sin rädsla för framgång valdes som intervjupersoner. För att analysera data har programvaran ATLAS.ti använts och sedan redovisats i fem kategorier.

Information about vibration injuries as a preventive measure is beneficial to society as well as the individual. As early as after a few years work with machines that vibrate can cause young sensitive persons to develop vibration injuries.An evaluation has been done on a web page with focus on information about work related vibration injuries. As a part of the evaluation a user observation and interview study was performed with workers who worked in different occupations. The workers all used machine that vibrate as part of the work. A total of eleven workers participated in the study.

This study aims to examine play as a phenomena from a phenomenological approach. This I do by discussing a dominant approach to play, an perspective which is reproduced in the context of pre-school and in where the play and learning is in single focus. Using alternative perspective on play, mainly by Gadamer and Bakthtins philosophical thoughts about the feast or the carnival, contents differ significantly from educational or developmental psychology perspectives. I open up for an understanding of what play as ontology can be understood as, and thereby enable second readings. I illustrate this thought by an empirical example from a pre-school context which where created alongside with the children in the study.

Several theoretical models of change exist concerning attachment, but an integrated view and knowledge of the role separate factors of change play for the individual is lacking. This phenomenon is hereby studied by semi-structured interviews of 20 persons. Change and factors of change are examined statistically with affectregulation as measure of attachment. The results show that these individuals´ changes are small and mostly towards secure attachment. Metacognition is related to greater change towards secure attachment.

Purpose: To examine the hearing environment for tattoo artists regarding occupational noiseand to see whether tattoo artists are exposed to hazardous noise according to Swedish WorkEnvironment Authority regulations. Method: Using a dosimeter we measured a total ofseven sessions of approximately one hour on seven different subjects, located on five studiosin Gothenburg. As a complement we did also hand out surveys based on twelve questions toexamine habits, experienced sound environment and to see if there were any hearing relatedpatterns. Results:. Sound level measurements showed that the lower exposure action valueLpAeq,8h 80 dB(A) in one case was reached if applied to the average working time of sixhours.

This study deals with the complex phenomenon of occupational health. There is knowledge of how a good work environment should look like, but despite this, many employees experiences ill health in the workplace mainly in the form of neck and back pain. This study is a case study conducted in a high-risk workplace. The overall purpose was to describe and analyze the health situation of a specific company with neck and back problems. Mainly, eight interviews had been used as the data collection method, but additional observations had also been implemented.

Att arbeta evidensbaserat innefattar både ett förhållningssätt och en process, vilket ställer krav på den enskilde arbetsterapeuten att kontinuerligt ompröva olika arbetsmetoder. Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa arbetsterapeuters kunskap om och attityd till evidensbaserad praxis. Vidare att undersöka vilka hinder som angavs och förslag till lösning av eventuella hinder för att arbeta evidensbaserat. Metoden litteraturstudie användes och artiklarna valdes utifrån systematisk litteratursökning. Tio artiklar, publicerade 2000-2005, från fyra olika länder granskades avseende olika aspekter av evidensbaserad praxis.

Abstract Aim: Since there is a lack of research based educational interventions concerning the relationship between coaches and young athletes, the aim of this study was to implement and examine the effects of sport psychology intervention for coaches in a track and field club. The research questions were: What are the effects of an educational intervention for coaches, with focus on a motivational climate, on: A) the coaches´ coaching approach B) their athletes´ goal orientation and C) their athletes´ perceived competitive anxiety?Method: The coach education stretched over two months and consisted of four two-hour lessons with focus on motivational climate, goal orientation and sport anxiety. Six coaches (three females, three males), aged 38-52 (M=44.33 years, SD=4.84) and their 59 athletes (27 males and 32 females) aged 12-14 (M=13.10 years, SD=0.82), participated in the study. A control group of 35 athletes (10 males and 25 females), of the same age (M=13.46 years, SD=0.70) and with similar demographic data, was also recruited.

This study illustrates how drama methods and career counselling might interact. The aim is to investigate whether drama methods can enhance career counselling methods. Drama is here defined as an umbrella term that includes all forms of action methods used in psychology and education.A literature survey was carried out in parallel with qualitative research interviews. Three professional drama leaders were interviewed separately. This was followed by a group interview with five upper secondary school students, who had all taken a course in drama with a focus on personal development.The findings show that there are common and consistent goals and values between drama and career counselling.

This study deals with one of the most discussed work environmental issues in the modern society of Sweden today - work related stress, its causes and how stress can affect people in their working situation. Our study is based on a questionnaire among aid handling officers in two municipalities of the middle of Sweden, and two interviews with their directors. We found that aid handling officers has a complex occupational role. We also found that the officers in these two municipalities experiences about the same level of stress.Further in the study, we will deal with whatever could be the cause of the stressful situation, using the demand/control model of Karasek and Theorell. The result shows that despite the similarity of the stress experience, the cause was shown to be different.

Att beskriva erfarenheter av aktivitetsutförande för personer med whiplashskada och om aktivitetsutförandet påverkar deras livstillfredsställelse. En enkätstudie som genomfördes med personer som drabbats av en whiplashskada och som var medlemmar i personskadeförbundet RTP vid tillfället för studien. I studien användes två instrument som sattes ihop till ett frågeformulär. I det första instrumentet Occupational gaps Questionnaire berörs aktiviteter i områdena boende, fritid, arbete samt det sociala livet. I det andra instrumentet LiSat-11 berörs områdesspecifik livstillfredsställelse.

Det psykologiska kontraktet är ett ömsesidigt avtal, där innehållet i båda parternas löften och förväntningar färgas av individens kulturella bakgrund. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att ur den anställdes perspektiv, undersöka huruvida kulturella skillnader i individens uppfattning av det psykologiska kontraktet förändras över tid. En webbaserad enkätundersökning utfördes med totalt 54 deltagare, 29 födda utomlands och 25 i Sverige. De faktorer som jämfördes var maktdistans, hög/lågkontext samt generella uppfattningar kring det psykologiska kontraktet. Resultatet visar en viss förändring över tid hos de utlandsfödda deltagarna, men att skillnaderna mellan utlands- och svenskfödda är små.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how municipal archivists/records managers seek and use information in their daily worklife. Two mayor questions were addressed:1. What information resources and information channels do the respondents use in their daily worklife and which functions do these fulfil?2. How do the respondents experience their information seeking in relation to the work role and the tasks in the municipal organisation?A qualitative method with interviews was used.
