Förekomsten av stroke ökar och för att kunna tillfredställa individens behov av aktivitet och självständighet i transporter finns ett ökat behov av körkortsbedömningar. Restsymtomen efter en stroke kan variera. Därför krävs olika typer av bedömningar. Arbetsterapeuter som är vana att arbeta klientcentrerat och bedöma skilda färdigheter har mycket att tillföra i körkortsfrågor.

This will be achieved through a description of which values an arena causes in the surrounding areas and an understanding of how these values can be interpreted through the place brand. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur ungdomar och vuxna med cerebral pares och en kommunikativ nedsättning upplever och resonerar kring vad som påverkar social delaktighet i vardagliga aktiviteter. För att besvara syftet valdes en kvalitativ ansats i form av innehållsanalys. Datainsamling genomfördes med skriftliga intervjuer via internet utifrån en intervjuguide samt genom tillgång till dagboksanteckningar. Analysen resulterade i ett tema "Samverkan av interna och externa faktorer påverkar upplevelsen av social delaktighet i vardagliga aktiviteter" samt två kategorier ?Personliga faktorer? och ?Omgivningsfaktorer?.

Ett balanserat aktivitetsmönster anses inom arbetsterapi vara en viktig komponent för att uppleva hälsa i aktivitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva och förstå aktivitetsmönster och dess relation till upplevd tillfredsställelse med livet i allmänhet. Undersökningsgruppen rekryterades från en region i norra Sverige och bestod av 40 personer med diagnosen seropositiv reumatoid artrit. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med instrumenten Occupational Questionair, Life Satisfaction Questionnaire och FRIES index, bearbetades i dataprogram och redovisades med deskriptiv statistik. Resultatet visade att undersökningsgruppen hade en likartad fördelning av sina aktiviteter under dygnet.

This master's thesis is a study of how librarians are depicted in crime fiction. 12 American and English mysterynovels featuring librarians in a central role were studied and analysed using character theory. Recurring traitswere identified and organised into themes. Den gröna naturens betydelse för människans hälsa har länge diskuterats. I dagens samhälle bor allt fler människor i städer med en begränsad kontakt med naturen. Genom att låta personer med höga stressnivåer tillbringa tid antingen i en skogs- eller en hantverksmiljö, och därefter besvara enkäter om sinnesstämning samt upplevelser av miljön, undersöktes miljöernas påverkan på deltagarna. Både den gröna skogsmiljön och hantverkslokalens inomhusmiljö gjorde deltagarna mer avspända, piggare, gladare, mer harmomiska, lugnare och mer klartänkta efter besöket jämfört med före. Dock utmärkte sig skogen genom att den gjorde deltagarna signifikant gladare efter besöket och lugnare även före besöken över tid.

Respondents included in study are all teachers in vocational subject in upper secondary school. They also have experience from at practical profession before they began to work as teachers and started the teacher training. Method used in this study is the life stories of narrative nature.

Even though the American author H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) has been praised as one of the most influential writers of horror literature in the 20th century, his style of writing has occasionally been criticized. Lovecraft was using a writing style based on strict scientific language, where the human condition and existence are irrelevant in the narrative. This includes less focus on character development and more on the importance of atmosphere and environments. I am presenting narratological analyzes of what is often considered to be three of Lovecraft?s ?greatest works?: ?The Call of Cthulhu?, At the Mountains of Madness, and ?The Shadow over Innsmouth.? These analyzes are used to highlight Lovecraft?s science-oriented language and narratological techniques, with the focus of studying what methods Lovecraft was using to give his works and his readers a sense of dread, hopelessness, and an alien atmosphere.

This thesis deals with the characterization of Japan and Japanese people by Swedish travelers during the Meiji period. It seeks to answer what aspects of Japanese people two Swedish travelers chose to highlight, and how these aspects were presented in their travelogues. This thesis also has a second aim. By applying Edward Said?s theory of orientalism, it wants to answer if Swedish travelogues were influenced by western 19th century ideas of colonialism and imperialism.

 The english name of this essay is ?One man among many women?. This essay takes its starting point in the situation today with few male teachers in the earlier years of elementary school. I have decided to look at the small group of males that actually started the education to become teachers and why they did it when the profession as teacher today is low-paid, low status and is a profession with a large dominance of female teachers. I have chosen to write about this because of the importance for the children to meet both men and women as teachers in the early schoolyears.

AbstractAim: The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper knowledge of how nurse anesthetists feel about their own profession. It was hoped that by gaining a deeper understanding of how the nurse anesthetist is experiencing its own profession, it will create better conditions for development and evolution of the nurse anesthesia profession and skills. Method: for the study a qualitative approach was used in which ten anesthesia nurses were interviewed, aged 27-55 years, four men and six women participated in the study. The interviews were processed and analyzed based on qualitative content analysis. As a theoretical framework Patricia Benner seven skill domains was used.
