In this essay, a search strategy for citation index is studied. The strategy, which is essentially a citation cycle, starts with documents retrieved by a subject search, wherefrom new documents are identified following the network of citations backwards and forwards in time. Based on the theory of polyrepresentation, the strategy exploits overlaps between cognitively different interpretations of the same documents in order to automatically select references seed documents used as a starting point for the forward chaining. The purpose of the investigation is to evaluate the retrieval effectiveness of the search strategy and to find out whether the strategy can be used to expand a subject search with the help of the network of references in order to retrieve new relevant documents. Two questions are formulated: 1a.

This bachelor thesis portray a project where the main task were to develop a computer based system prototype for handling of absence report at the upper secondary school af Chapman in Karlskrona. The project has been conducted in cooperation with students from the university programs software engineering and information economy at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Our task as MDA-students have been to survey the process of absence report of today through field studies and give a proposal of a graphical user interface which later were developed by the software engineers. The thesis also handles the cooperation with other students from other university programs..

Uppsasten vill ge svar på vilka förutsättningar som måste anses uppfyllda för att ett varumärke skall erhålla skydd genom inarbetning. Dessa förutsättningar har beskrivits med utgångspunkt i 2§ 3st VmL. Fokus i uppsatsen har även legat på marknadundersökningens roll vid fastställande av inarbetning. Där har en intervju genomförts med en representant från Stokholms handelskammares varumärkesnämnd. Varumärkesnämnden låter olika undersökningsföretag utföra diverse marknadsundersökningar.

Syftet med denna studie var att genom en litteraturöversikt beskriva olika sätt att förändra den fysiska boendemiljön för att främja aktivitetsutförandet i dagliga aktiviteter hos personer med demenssjukdom. Litteratursökningen genomfördes i databaser samt manuellt i referenslistor. Analysen av de 16 valda artiklarna genomfördes med en kvalitativ analysmetod och resultatet presenterades i tre kategorier: ?Att känna igen?, ?Att arrangera? samt ?Att förtydliga?. Resultaten av studien tyder på att en mer hemlik och familjär miljö, arrangemang av rum och föremål så att överblickbarhet medges samt förtydligande av boendemiljön genom till exempel skyltar och färgkontraster främjar aktivitetsutförandet.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att beskriva personer med traumatisk hjärnskadas erfarenheter av fritidsaktiviteter. Den undersökta gruppen bestod av sju personer i åldern 26 ? 54 år. Tid efter traumat var minst två år. Datainsamlingen genomfördes genom individuella semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundman (2004) och resulterade i tre kategorier: ? Previous studies have shown that teachers in school are having an insufficientknowledge about the bullying at their own school. These studies are based from pupils point of view at the senior level of the nine-year compulsory school. Based on this literature we became critical and wanted to examine this closer.The purpose of this essay was to find out and to examine how the staff in two different senior level of compulsory school notice, prevent and counteract bullying in their daily line of work. With this essay we hope to get the schools attention and understanding about this existing problem. We have done a qualitative study using qualitative method for collection of data.

This work is a study of subject teachers in social studies and science understand the concept of sustainable development. The work uses a qualitative and a quantitative approach. Teachers in various schools and stages have been answering questions about how they perceive sustainability, how they implement it in teaching and if they feel that school is important for the future of sustainable development at large.The theoretical background is based on environmental ethics as well as the different meanings and definitions of the concept of sustainable development. These theories and definitions are coupled with the empirical results.The study concludes that all teachers throughout the study perceive the concept of sustainable development as something ecological, something that has to do with nature. A few teachers also state economic and social dimensions.Questions about how the teachers in the study implement the concept in their teaching can be seen as three different approaches.
