On a request from the water sewage plant Gryaab in Gothenburg a power quality survey was performed. The voltages and currents have continuously been sampled in the incoming 10 kV substation HSP01 from April-August 2008. Power quality measurements were also performed in Gryaabs other 10 kV substation HSP04 fed from HSP01 and at the terminals of the induction motor IN_PU4040 of 1.3 MW which controls one of the four large inflow pumps to the plant. The reason for the latter measurement was due to registered negative transients each time the motor was connected to the grid. The cause of the transients could be explained by the coupling in the substation, the ageing of the motor which could result in damage of the bearings or resonance in the motor circuit which amplifies high frequency harmonics.

Den här studien handlar om utevistelsen i förskolan. Studien har utgått från tre metoder, observation, intervju och enkät för att ta reda på vad barn gör och befinner sig på förskolans gård, pedagogens roll och syn på utevistelse och vad föräldrarna vet om förskolans utevistelse. Resultatet av studien visar att barnen helst befinner sig i den oplanerade miljön och den planerade miljön används mest som starthjälp, för att leken ska komma igång, men överges snabbt. Resultatet av pedagogens roll utomhus är att övervaka barnens lek samt ingripa vid konflikter eller andra problem som kan uppstå. Samtliga pedagoger i studien ansåg att utevistelsen är oerhört viktig men att den sällan planeras utan utgår mest från frilek.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka tankar och attityder lärare på en högstadieskola i Mellansverige har kring valet att köpa in iPads till eleverna. Ytterligare punkter är att undersöka hur lärare implementerar iPaden i undervisningen. En metodkombination av intervju och observation har genomförts för att få fram den data nödvändig för studien. Det resultat och de slutsatser som framkommit vid denna undersökning är att lärarna ansåg att iPaden tvingar lärare till utveckling, att elever och lärare kan arbeta mer kreativt på en iPad jämfört med en bärbar dator samt det läsprojekt som skett året innan iPads köptes in till eleverna tycks ha gjort lärarna positivt inställda till implementeringen av iPads i undervisningen. Lärarna tycks även använda iPaden när undervisningen gagnas av den..

Jag har i denna uppsats valt att undersöka om och på vilket sätt drama och folksagor kan hjälpa 10-12-åriga barn att utveckla sin återberättarförmåga. Jag har även försökt att finna ett sätt att med hjälp av gestaltning av folksagor skapa en bättre uppfattning av barnens inre utveckling. En positiv upptäckt under denna studie var att unga redan i första stadiet av sin utveckling lätt kan lära sig att personifiera olika objekt och utvidga sin fantasi, vilket kan leda till att de i framtiden lättare kan lösa mera komplicerade ting i livet. Ett problem var att jag var ensam om en sådan undersökning, som skulle krävt minst tre personer för att man skulle kunna genomföra hela proceduren från videoupptagning till observation, intervju och analys. Under denna undersökning har jag upptäckt att gestaltning av folksagor fungerar både som en bra metod i arbetet med utveckling av barnens fantasi och som ett sätt att få en bättre uppfattning om andra människor i samhället..

Syftet med denna rapport är att belysa innehållet i nuvarande akutsjukvårdsväska i förhållande till de situationer som polisen ställs inför samt presentera ett förslag på en akutsjukvårdsväska som möter kraven på användbarhet för polispersonal i alla tillämpliga funktioner. De datainsamlingsverktyg som är tänkbara för att undersöka den problemformulering som vi kommit fram är observation på plats, intervjuer och litteraturstudie. För att ta reda på om polisens sjukvårdsväska är adekvat för uppgiften den ska lösa. Då det gäller den deduktiva biten (sekundärdata) har vi använt oss av litteraturstudier i form av böcker och kompendier. Vi har också dragit nytta av vår utbildning som vi fått på Polis- programmet i Umeå.

Arbetet handlar om hur elever uppfattar och påverkas av rollspel som undervisningsmetod för främst samhällskunskap. Syftet var att undersöka ifall att elevers syn på metoden överensstämde med litteratur på området samt vlka faktorer som kunde tänkas ha påverkan på hur elever uppfattade metoden. Studien genomfördes på två gymnasieskolor i en kommun i Västerbotten. Undersökningen skedde med hjälp av två undersökningsmetoder, observation och enkäter. Utöver dessa undersökningsmetoder användes litteratur för att bygga bakgrund till studien.

This study´s focus was a group of participants of a social movement called The Zeitgeist Movement. The purpose of this study was to understand and convey what causes participants of this movement to engage despite that the prevailing culture teaches them otherwise.With qualitative methodology of participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with ten participants, our objective has been to answer the following questions: What are the driving forces that make these people act, which approach do they have to ?reality? and how do they relate to it, and what are the potential consequences with this approach?The study has shown that their critical and questioning attitude towards their perception of reality and their social constructivist view of it lead to conflicts between them and their fellowmen. The data was then analyzed with Alfred Schütz phenomenological theories in synthesis with Zygmunt Baumans critical societal analysis and theories.The study's focus was on the Gothenburg chapter of the Swedish Zeitgeist Movement. We did not make any comparisons with other national or international chapters of the movement..

Osteological examinations were executed on nine mediaeval individuals from Västergarn, Gotland, with the main aim to increase the knowledge about the people who lived there during the Middle Ages. A further aim was to compare the results from this study with other populations from the same time period, which in this case was the "Bonegathering" from Västergarn as well as previous osteological results from Sigtuna and Västerhus. Archaeological excavations have been occurring in Västergarn since 1971 and are still occurring in an educational purpose, for students of Gotland University. The age distribution of the individuals showed ages from 2 years old up to 44 years, with five adults and four children. The gender distribution show approximately five women and one man.

Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka vilka riskfaktorer det sociotekniska systemet bidrar med vid inmatning av producerade data till en specifik databas. Denna undersökning använder STAMP-metoden (Systems Theoretic Accidents Models and Processes) för att finna riskfaktorer i systemet. Metoden utgår från att samla data om systemet genom intervju, observation samt analys av annan dokumentation kring databasen för att sedan applicera STAMP-analys på dessa. Resultaten pekade på ett antal riskfaktorer vid inmatningen av producerade data, dessa kretsade primärt kring problem med existerande säkerhetsåtgärder, avsaknad av träning samt bristande kommunikation. Resultaten ledde till en slutsats om förbättringsåtgärder på dessa punkter.
