The purpose of this paper is to examine the constructions of sexuality, which are produced when judgments concerning asylum are made, based on an asylum seeker?s sexual orientation. The question formulations are the following: Which constructions of sexuality are produced when necessary condition, fear of persecution due to sexual orientation, is applied in judgments regarding refugee status? Furthermore, how constructions of sexuality differ in the judgments where the asylum seeker has been consented and rejected is investigated. The empirical material consists of 13 judgments, which were announced between the years 2009-2013 by the Migration court.

Storm water is rain and melted snow that runs off, primarily from impervious surfaces.Future storm water management is facing the challenges of increased precipitation, asclimate changes, and increased areas of impervious surfaces due to the expansion anddensification of the cities. Impervious surfaces reduce the potential for water to infiltratein the ground leading to increased surface runoff and higher peak discharge.The runoff coefficient is closely related to the percentage of impervious surfaces andrepresents the maximum percentage of a catchment that can contribute to runoff. In thisstudy, the objective was to evaluate the weighted runoff coefficient for three differenturban types; apartment buildings, townhouses and residential areas and a comparisonbetween today and the 1970`s was made.The runoff coefficient was determined by manual mapping of the different surface typesin each area based on data in the form of orthophotos and aerial photographs. The surfacetypes that were mapped were asphalt, permeable areas, tiles, sand/gravel and roof.Tiles and sand/gravel were the most difficult surface types to map. In order to see towhat extent these categories influenced the weighted runoff coefficient a sensitivityanalysis was carried out and the runoff coefficient based on surface type was changed indifferent scenarios.The results of the sensitivity analysis showed that the surface types tiles and sand/gravelhad little impact on the weighted runoff coefficient which in mainly due to the fact thatthe percentage of these surfaces types of the total area is small.The result of the study showed that the largest change in the runoff coefficient occurredin residential areas where the increase in the percentage of impervious surfaces causedby new roofs in the form of porches and garages and from paved or tiled driveways.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att fördjupa vår förståelse kring matematikspråk och kommunikation som verktyg i matematikundervisningen. Detta har sökts svar på genom att observera och intervjua tre stycken matematiklärare i grundskolans lägre åldrar. Vi har undersökt hur dessa lärare använder och ser på muntlig kommunikation samt infor-mellt och formellt matematikspråk. Vi redogör för tidigare forskning kring språk och kommunikation i matematikundervis-ningen. Studiens utgångspunkt är Vygotskijs syn på språk och kommunikation i ett so-ciokulturellt perspektiv.

The goal was to give sugges-tions that help the company to reach its business ratio that the production de-partment uses within use of paper and productivity in the corrugated cardboard machine.Stora Enso Packaging is a part of the forest group Stora Enso and is one of Swe-den?s leading producers of corrugated cardboard. Stora Enso Packaging acts pri-mary on the Swedish market, where they have a market share of 25 %.To be able to analyze orders with special qualities we did a data collection during two months, where we mapped incoming orders.

Our starting point has been to use the football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a model person for individualism that seams to break the ordinary socialization pattern in Sweden. The purpose of this study is to examine how the team leaders handle the socialization of more individualistic focused individuals/young persons into groups, since the Swedish School Curriculum is designed to meet each individual on his or hers former experiences. Is the socialization of individuals within team sports affected by their cultural background? And, in that case, should those facts have consequences for the sport subject at school? Those are the questions we want to explore. Besides a survey of documents, we have been seeking answers to our questions through interviews with the team leaders Roland Nilsson and Peter Bergander, the pedagogues/teachers Karin Jutterström and Håkan Jensgård and the professional football player Abgar Barson.Our study shows that the leaders and teachers of today have begun to change their view about individualists.

The object of the thesis is to propose a new design for the neighbourhood of Veiberg that is situated in the small Norwegian town Jessheim. My approach was to first make an analysis of the whole community and the structure of the town, and then gradually focus on the actual neighbourhood to continue the research there. On the basis of my research the block will be redesigned. The research will lead to a well-planned design of the neighbourhood, which will adapt it to its surroundings in a sustainable and constructive way. The project will lead you through the history of the town and the intentions and aims of the municipality. The project also examines the structure of the town and the function of the neighbourhood in the town today as well as investigation of the history, the structure and the qualities in the area.

Picker robots are often mounted close to each other above a conveyor belt. To be able topack robots even closer, it is desirable to reduce the footprint of the robot?s base. One way toachieve this is to skew the arms of the robot which makes it possible to move them closer toeach other.This Master Thesis has been carried out at ABB Corporate Research. Detta examensarbete är resultatet av en utredning av produktionsbegränsningar och produktutveckling på Volvo Construction Equipment AB Component Division i Eskilstuna. Produktionssystemet på Volvo CE genomgår en stor förändring då det går från att fungera som en funktionell verkstad till att bli flödesinriktat. Detta gör att helt nya krav ställs på produkternas konstruktion och utformning. Det är nu inte möjligt att anpassa maskinerna eller operationsföljderna efter artikeln i samma utsträckning som tidigare, man kommer att vara tvungen att anpassa artiklarna efter produktionslinan. Därav har en litteraturstudie inom Concurrent Engineering gjorts som belyser hur man bör jobba som organisation och vilka verktyg man har till sitt förfogande, för att utveckla produktionsvänliga produkter.

A building has an architectural biography: the creation, destruction, change and the decay. The concept of ruin is considered to be a state of this decay, rather than a dead building.

Detta examensarbete har utförts inom borrstålstillverkningen på Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) i Sandviken. Borrstål är en viktig produkt för SMT, vars efterfrågan har ökat stadigt under en lång tid och även i framtiden spås öka. SMT har länge strävat efter att höja leveransprecisionen på det borrstål som levereras, då leveransprecisionsmålet som i dagsläget ligger på 95 procent inte har uppnåtts på länge. SMT har även uttryckt önskemål om en kortare ledtid för tillverkningen av borrstål från råvara till kund, vilken historiskt sett uppskattats till åtta veckor.Syftet med examensarbetet är att, genom utförandet av en värdeflödesanalys, identifiera förbättringsförslag som kan effektivisera produktions- och planeringsprocessen vid ett tillverkande företag.De metoder som har använts för att utföra examensarbetet är litteraturstudier, observationer samt intervjuer. Utöver detta har prognos-, beställnings- och leveransdata samlats in med hjälp av de system som används på SMT samt även information kring cykeltider för de ingående processerna i borrstålsflödet.De mest tongivande teorierna som examensarbetet utgått ifrån och som författarna genomgående haft i åtanke är Lean Production, värdeflödesanalys, lagerstyrningsprinciper, linjebalansering och SMED.Genomförd kartläggning av nuläge och analys visar att kundernas prognos- och beställningsmönster inte stämmer överens av olika orsaker samt att balansen i borrstålsflödet inte är optimal.
