Nordic Cab AB är ett företag som säljer multifunktionella barnvagnar. Dessa barnvagnar har utbytbara delar vilket gör att man kan omvandla dem till en jogging-, cykel-, skid-, hund- eller vandringsvagn.Syftet med denna uppsats är att prissätta Nordic Cab AB:s multifunktionella barnvagn. För att uppnå detta beskriver vi först hur olika faktorer påverkar Nordic Cab AB:s prissättning. Dessa faktorer är företagets mål, kostnader, efterfrågan och konkurrenter. Utifrån dessa faktorer och intervjuer med återförsäljare av multifunktionella barnvagnar och VD:n för Nordic Cab AB kommer vi fram till att Nordic Cab AB borde använda sig av en prissättningsmetod som baseras på upplevt kundvärde.Genom att låta återförsäljare av multifunktionella barnvagnar betygsätta hur viktiga olika egenskaper hos dessa är för kunden och hur bra de olika företagen på marknaden är på att tillgodose dessa egenskaper kan vi presentera ett kundvärde för Nordic Cab AB och två av deras konkurrenter.

Problembakgrund och syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka huruvida det finns samband mellan pensionsredovisningsmetoder och volatilitet i bolagens Eget kapital. Enligt pensionsredovisningsforskningen finns samband mellan pensionsredovisningsmetoder och volatilitet i total Eget kapital. Enligt Amir skapar redovisning av aktuariella vinster och förluster mot Eget kapital (totalresultatet) upphov till volatilitet i Eget kapital. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om forskningen som påvisar detta samband även stöds gällande Large Cap bolagen i Nasdaq OMX Nordic Stockholm. Stämmer det att bolag som redovisar pensioner mot Eget kapital (totalresultatet) påvisar större volatilitet i Eget kapital än bolag som använder andra pensionsredovisningsmetoder? Detta är den grundläggande problemställningen i uppsatsen.Metod: För att svara på syftet använder vi oss av bolagens årsredovisningar där vi undersöker vilka pensionsredovisningsmetoder bolagen väljer och volatilitet i total Eget kapital mellan åren 2006-2011.

The following thesis is examining compliance with EU-law from a member state perspective. The variation in the compliance level between the member states from 1995 to 2005 is analyzed to prove the fact that the Nordic member countries during the measured time period experienced a low number of infringements. The infringements that did occur were resolved faster and more efficient in the Nordic countries then in the other member states. The theory used to explain the Nordic compliance rate is divided between external and internal pressure in a pull and push model. The external pressure is illustrated with argumentative persuasion from the EU-commission to the individual member states; how the state responds to the persuasion in order to act compliant.

Syftet med studien är att klargöra och analysera vilka faktorer som är viktiga vid börsbolagens val av skatterådgivare i Sverige och hur valen har förändrats genom de nya oberoendereglerna. Studien utgår från ett abduktivt angreppssätt medan undersökningsmetoden använder en kombination av kvalitativt och kvantitativt tillvägagångssätt. I teorin beskrivs utvecklingen av den komplexa miljön kring skatterådgivning, begreppet jurisdiktionell konkurrens, oberoendets två sidor samt ett antal kritiska faktorer vid val av skatterådgivare. Som ett komplement till den teoretiska referensramen har författarna valt att presentera ett kapitel med aktuella regler och normer. I den empiriska delen presenteras resultatet av de tio intervjuer som gjorts med börsbolag på OMX Nordic Large Cap.

Tidigare studier indikerar att det finns en problematik med redovisningsstandarden IAS 36, angående goodwillnedskrivningar, då standarden skapar utrymme för resultatmanipulering i form av stålbad. Enligt tidigare studier har företagsledningar incitament för stålbad när företag uppvisar svaga preliminära finansiella resultat. Denna studie undersökte i vilken utsträckning resultatmanipulering i form av stålbad genom goodwillnedskrivningar förekom för företagen på OMX Nordic Large Cap under perioden 2006 till och med 2009. Det gjordes genom att det i studien undersöktes huruvida det fanns ett samband mellan goodwillnedskrivningar och svaga finansiella resultat.En kvantitativ metod användes och sambandet mellan goodwillnedskrivningar och svaga finansiella resultat testades med hjälp av statistiska metoder. Undersökningen utgick från Jordan och Clarks (2004) trestegsmodell som i första steget testade huruvida goodwillnedskrivningarna var väsentliga, då det är ett tecken på stålbad.

Aim: The aim of this present study was to assess the dental caries prevalence in children and adolescents aged 3-19 in the Nordic countries, and to examine if the caries prevalence is affected by socioeconomic and cultural differences.Method: The study is a literature review based on 20 scientific medical reports based on the aim of this study.Result: Decayed missed filled surfaces (dmfs) of the 3-year-olds varies from 0.3 to 0.99 and from 0.9 to 7.3 in 5-year-old children. The Nordic 12-year-olds have similar numerical values. In Nordic 14-year-olds caries prevalence increases. In the late teens there is a reduction in caries prevalence. Children at Greenland have five times more teeth decayed than other Danish children.

During the last few years, there has been a lot of debate regarding the price ofelectricity on the Swedish market. According to a recent survey from Sifo, anon-bias governmental institute for consumer research and testing, the priceof electricity is what worries Swedish households the most. An investigationof the eciency of the Nordic power grids inuence on the Swedish spotprice is therefore both relevant and valuable. Three quarters of all electricityproduced in the Nordic region is traded at the Nord Pool Spot power market.This survey examines how much of the variation of the swedish spot pricecan be descried by the variation of the nordic system price and how much iscaused because of ineciencies in the power grid. Primarily, linear regressionwith adjustments for endogeneity and heteroskedasticity has been used in orderto analyze data obtained mainly from Nord Pool Spot and Vattenfall AB.The results show that the variation of the system price can account for all butabout 40% of the variation in the Swedish spot price.

Denna studie undersöker i första hand huruvida insynshandel på Aktietorget och Nordic Growth Market genererar abnormal avkastning samt om det föreligger en skillnad i resultat mellan dessa marknadsplatser. Det som ligger till grund för studien är insiders samtliga köp- och säljtransaktioner under 2005 för bolag noterade på Aktietorget och Nordic Growth Market.

Four central Nordic actors about the progress and extent of Nordic cooperationThe Nordic cooperation are often spoken as in terms of a peaceful international cooperation that is built upon a wide range of similarities among its members, such as a common culture, language similarities and a related kind of political system etc. But in spite of the fact that these so called propitious factors are present, many of the attempts that has been made trying to bring the states of the North (Norden) closer together has turned out unsuccessfully. Therefore no far-reaching Nordic cooperation has come to be implemented. The aim of this essay is to find out what the main reasons could be why this has been the case.I have chosen to take a closer look at the motives given by the former Nordic Prime ministers Tage Erlander (Sweden), Karl August Fagerholm (Finland), Einar Gerardsen (Norway) and Mauno Koivisto (Finland).

This study deals with one particular instance of foreign policy change in Sweden; The political take-off for enhanced Nordic Defence and Security Cooperation in the beginning of the 21st century which led to an agreement on a Nordic declaration on slolidarity. The aim of this study is to explain why the political development has undergone a rapid upturn and when such a policy change occur. Its purpose is to explain what factors and conditions that influenced the policy change. It also explores the meaning of the Nordic Declaration of Solidarity. The theoretical point of departure is Foreign Policy Analysis combined with John Kingdons policy-window theory.

Uppsatsen Ingenjörkompaniets förändring från NBG-08 till NBG-11 ? En myt eller sanning? behandlar ingenjörkompaniet under Nordic Battlegroup-08 respektive Nordic Battlegroup-11. Uppsatsens skildrar de skillnader vilka fanns på respektive kompani avseende organisationen, materiel och utrustning samt de krav och uppgifter vilka kompaniet hade. Detta har genomförts med en komparation mellan de respektive kompanierna.Syftet med uppsatsen är att se vilken inverkan tidigare organisationer har på framställandet av en ny organisation under respektive Nordic Battlegroup. I detta fallet ingenjörkompaniet under respektive Nordic Battlegroup.En komparation mellan de två olika kompanierna innefattande tre av de grundläggande förmågorna verkan, rörlighet och uthållighet har genomförts kopplat mot två av krigsföringsförmågorna, konceptuella- och fysiska förmågorna.Resultatet av studien visar att slutsatser kopplade till i huvudsak brister kring kommunikationen mellan respektive ingenjörkompani där inget eller mycket begränsat erfarenhetsutbyte genomförts mellan dessa.

The aim of this study is to examine if the leadership style in Faiveley Transport Nordic Ltd has an impact on the psychosocial climate in the workplace. Henceforth, we have checked if the psychosocial climate influences the feeling of satisfaction that exists in the organization and if this in turn influences the degree of extra effort the employee chooses to impose on his or her task. In order to measure the leadership in the organization we have used the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ). The climate, in turn, has been measured through Ekvalls GEFA. All 125 employees in Faiveley Transport Nordic Ltd got the possibility to attend the survey, 58 participated.
