The purpose of this study was to examine how the foster parent's need of support is provided. The study was built upon a qualitative method with interviews with ten foster parents. More specifically, its aim was too find out how the foster parents themselves looked upon how their need of support, and from whom the support was provided. According to the law, it is the social services obligation to provide the foster parents with all the support they could need. The picture the media sends out is different from what it should be because according to them, the social services fall short in the follow-up and also the support of the contact with the foster parents.

The overriding purpose of this graduate thesis is to evaluate if municipalities and county councils can deviate from the legislation of public procurement during procurement of customer choice agreements within the health and social care area. The intention of this Quasi-market is to provide the users with competition in terms of quality rather then the general principal rule of economic value.My conclusion results in a legal situation without rules of general procedure. So far the authorities make their own regulation in the field of customer choice agreements. The problem lies within the authorization of new contractors and their right to make an appeal against resolutions made by the authorities social care divisions.One solution is to legislate within the present law of public procurement. Another way to solve the problem is to create a lex specialis apart from the present public procurement regulation..

The construction and maintenance of a brand plays just like the communication a very important part. These parts also have a lot to common and affect each other in a large extent. Denna studie undersöker vad några lärare på en skola har för positiva och negativa erfarenheter av att integrera IKT i sin undervisning. Undersökningen tar sin utgångspunkt i några olika teorier som förklarar olika aspekter av undervisningspraktiken. Det är en kvalitativ, induktiv studie, som använder sig av intervjuer. Resultatet visar att lärarna ser IKT som något positivt, framförallt eftersom det möjliggör en mer varierad undervisning, och ökar elevernas motivation. De möter dock samtidigt många problem som gör att de inte kan utnyttja dess fulla potential, framförallt tekniska problem, samt bristande digital kompetens, både hos elever och lärare.

This study analyzes how the Swedish climate policy has changed during the years 1990-2008. Thisis done through a comparative analysis of three climate bills that were developed during this period.With a constructivist approach, and theories about discursive indicators and discursive fields,discursive changes in the bills' content are identified. The results show that changes have occurredin how the problem is described, how the issue is framed, which problem solutions that areadvocated, which legitimizing arguments and key concepts that are used and the extent of theknowledge that the bills are based upon. The conclusions drawn from the results describe adiscursive change between the bills in the form of a shift from a discourse that in a greater extentadvocates active policy responses, based on ethical arguments about fairness towards othercountries and caution towards the environment, to a discourse that more often favor market actionsbased on arguments about the economic viability of Sweden..

BackgroundIncreased prevalence of obesity in children- and young adults and risk for diseases related to obesity will increase the burden on medical care. It is important to identify early risk factors that can be noticed by nurses in the daily work.AimThe aim was to investigate whether children- and young adults themselves perceive overweight as a problem and if there was a difference in the measured activity levels between overweight children- and young adults in families with different socio-economic family status.Method descriptionExisting survey from the Obesity Centre at the Akademiska Sjukhuset were examined together with the results from an accelerometer, where children- and young adults activity was recorded, compared to their perception of how active they were. The results were compared using a statistical software program and compiled with descriptive and non-parametric statistics.ResultsThe results do suggest that the majority of children- and young adults experiencing excessive weight have a problem in their everyday lives. Nearly half overestimate themselves as more active than what the actual measurements with accelerometer demonstrated. Much time is spent in front of the TV and computers.

The aim of this study is to analyze how two different education books produce christianity and islam. The analyzed books is from 2003 and 2008 and the books are adapted for the last years of primary school. The meaning and translation of words is often a problem and can get the reader wrong understaning of the religion. The analyze include the perspective of this meaning and how the sacred things are described in each religion.The textanalyze is made with different criterias; the context, the pre- understanding and if the text is objectiv is some of the most important. The results can be a help to secure the chillchain.Method:The work started with a problem; map the distribution of cut flowers with focus on temperature losses. Data was collected on the basis of this problem, then analysed, and finally conclusions were drawn.Conclusions:The affect handling and distribution has on a cut flower is very complex.

Problemet med hembränd sprit i Sverige är inget nytt. Problemet började redan på 1400 talet när man började tillverka sprit. Hembränt är ett problem över hela landet och Boden är inget undantag. På grund av att hembränt är så billigt och lättillgängligt så blir det för ungdomar ofta en tidig inkörsport till sprit och andra droger. Som det ser ut idag så har polisen i Boden inte nog med resurser för att jobba riktat mot detta problem utan man jobbar mest utifrån tips.

Intern materialhantering är ett ofta bortglömt område inom logistik, ett ämnesområde som annars i takt med den snabba och globala utvecklingen har fått ökad uppmärksamhet de senaste åren. I detta examensarbete studeras den interna materialhanteringen på Fläkt Woods ABs fabrik i Jönköping begränsat till flödet mellan godsmottagning och slutmontering. Syftet med fallstudien är att undersöka vilka problem som finns med den nuvarande interna materialhanteringen samt ge förbättringsförslag för hur den skulle kunna utvecklas för att minimera antalet produktionstopp orsakade av materialbrist.Studien har en abduktiv ansats där datainsamling genom dokumentation, observationer och intervjuer ligger till grund för en flödeskartläggning av tre produktgrupper som företaget bedömt vara mest intressanta att studera. Utifrån flödet identifieras möjliga problem och med hjälp av ett analytiskt ramverk klassificeras dessa för att urskilja de problem som leder till produktionsstopp. Studien visar att dessa handlar om att komponenter av någon anledning är felaktiga/skadade, lagras in/plockas på ett felaktigt sätt eller att det sker felaktigheter vid godsmottagning med avseende på registrering och sortering.Genomförda litteraturstudier ligger till grund för ett teoretiskt ramverk innehållande principer som bör tas i beaktning vid arbetet med intern materialhantering.

Sammanfattning: Mäns våld mot kvinnor är ett stort socialt problem. Vårt syfte med denna uppsats var att undersöka vilken hjälp det finns för män som har problem med våldsamt beteende i dagens samhälle. Vi undersökte om hjälp finns och vad för behandlingsmetoder som är relevanta för dessa individer. Dessutom har vi studerat hur våldsamt beteende förklaras i litteraturen. Vi försökte ge en bild av hur männen själva talar om sitt våldsamma beteende i olika diskussionsforum.

Denna rapport handlar om Poker-AI som var mitt examensarbete. Jag tar upp vilka problem jag har haft, vilka lösningar jag har gjort och vad jag ser för framtida möjligheter. Jag började med att läsa böcker för att lära mig mer om vad man ska tänka på när man spelar och för att ha en bra grund till det fortsatta arbetet. Under tiden jag läste började en plan utforma sig för hur jag skulle göra AI:n. När jag hade läst klart gjorde jag själva grundprogrammet för att kunna testa min AI, jag stötte på en del problem och det tog lite längre tid än jag hade tänkt, men det blev en bra grund.

A study of communication content, frequency and problems was performed at the Swedish Air Force Air Combat Simulation Centre, FLSC. The purpose was to investigate the connection between team communication and performance variables, to study communication problems during air combat and to employ and develop the PILOT method of communication problem analysis. Ten fighter pilots and four fighter controllers engaged in simulated air combat beyond visual range in teams on two sides, Blue and Red, with four pilots and one fighter controller each.
