Bakgrund: Otillräcklig information, att inte bli uppmärksammad, lyssnad på, samt att inte bli sedd som en individ med individuella behov, har visats leda till osäkerhet i interaktionen mellan vårdare och patient samt missnöje med vården. Det är en fördel för sjuksköterskan att ha självkännedom för att kunna skapa ett bekräftande möte. Bekräftelse i ?Jag-Du-mötet? anses vara grunden för allt mänskligt liv. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva betydelsen av att bekräfta identiteten hos inneliggande patienter på sjukhus, utifrån ett patient- och sjuksköterskeperspektiv.

Bakgrund: Personcentrerad vård är ett arbetssätt som nu implementeras i vården. Arbetssättet syftar till att se hela patienten med ett holistiskt synsätt. Att arbeta personcentrerat betyder att patienten ges möjlighet att inkluderas i sin vård. Delaktighet är därmed ett centralt begrepp för arbetssättet. Att öka delaktigheten för patienter som lider av schizofreni är en utmaning för den psykiatriska vården då sjukdomsbilden gör att patienten har bristande sjukdomskänsla.

We have made a qualitative study where we have chosen to interview a number of respondents consisting of ophthalmologists, eye nurses and patients. The purpose of the study was to examine employees' perceptions of patient-related status and treatment and quality, and meaningful participation in the work. The conducted interviews, we then sat in relation to how patients experienced the visit to the eye clinic and their perception of accessibility and hospitality. The result is then compared against the policy of the Title use of internally and we have also tried to explain what is happening with the help of various theorists. Theorist that we made use of is Maslow, Foucault, Deming (TQM) and Herzberg.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and leadership style as well as participants' perceived leadership style and job satisfaction. Sixty-two participants answered a questionnaire containing 56 questions regarding perceived leadership style and job satisfaction. The leadership styles examined in the study was transformative, transactional and laissez-faire leadership. The results showed a relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and job satisfaction but not with laissez-faire leadership. The results also showed that employees experienced a laissez-faire leadership.

The use of coaching is fairly up to date in the business world although it?s relatively new.Despite this, there?s a lack of clarity about what coaching is and what it signifies. Our point ishowever not to define coaching. Based on the normative coaching literature, the purpose is,from a critical discourse analysis to explore the power relations that affect the coach andcoached in their relation to each other, so as to be able to criticize managerial coachingrelationship as presented in the literature. This will contribute to enabling for a more opendiscourse.The theoretical image of managerial coaching described by the literature as a democraticexercised leadership by a certain type of behavior and attitudes, will lead to improvedorganizational performance.

The aim of the study was to describe parents' experiences of empty nest. The sample consisted of individuals who had experienced one child moving out of the parental home. Data were collected through qualitative semi-structured interviews and were analyzed by using thematic analysis. The thematic analysis revealed four themes, Concerns about the new time in life, Changing roles, Socializing in the family and Testing the relations. Due to the themes participants' stories reveal anxiety facing the time that will come when children takes the step to leave the nest.

In the European Convention and the EU charter the principle ne bis in idem is provided, which implies that a person can not be tried or punished twice for the same offense. Since the European Convention was incorporated into Swedish law in 1995 the principles application has been discussed in tax law. Several cases have been examined by the European Court and the Supreme Court (HD) in order to determine whether dual punishment has occurred in the national rules concerning tax surcharge, tax crime and accounting fraud. The judicial trials have brought different assessments concerning the matter, which have resulted in a lack of clarity on the application of the principle in Swedish law.The thesis purpose is to clarify whether the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime, and the relationship between tax surcharge and accounting fraud.The authors' conclusion is that the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime because both sanctions are considered criminal in nature and concern the same crime, since they are based on substantially the same circumstances. Swedish healthcare is in continuous need of cost savings and efficiency improvements in order to meet the increased demand for care. The theories of lean, developed from the industry, are applied more frequently on healthcare systems to increase effectiveness and reduce waiting times in patient processes. However, some processes seem to be more successful in their lean implementation than others. In this thesis, factors influencing flow efficiency in lean healthcare are examined. Through interviews with the top executive board at Capio St Göran's hospital, data is collected in order to analyze reasons for success.

Bakgrund: Vårdmiljön på sjukhus har traditionellt utformats av arkitekter. Fokus på patienten har skiftat från subjekt till objekt, för att åter gå mot en syn som subjekt. Intresset för utformning av vårdmiljön har de senaste åren ökat. Problem: Patienterna inneliggande på sjukhus befinner sig i en utsatt situation. Sjuksköterskor på sjukhus har lite kunskap om hur vårdmiljön påverkar patienterna vilket behövs för att kunna arbeta efter ett personcentrerat perspektiv.

Sammanfattning:Syfte: Att belysa barnsjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att bedriva relationsbaserad vård för det förtidigt födda barnet och dess föräldrar.Bakgrund: Aktuell kunskapsgrund redovisar vikten av en familjecentrerad, relationsbaserad, neonatalvård i strävan efter tidig anknytning och självständigt föräldraskap. Bakgrunden redovisar även barnsjuksköterkans erfarenheter av den relationsbaserade vården.Design: En intervjustudie utifrån en kvalitativ ansats, med ett vårdarperspektiv som studiens teoretiska referensram.Metod: Data samlas in under 2015 genom öppna och semistrukturerade intervjuer med 10 barnsjuksköterskor verksamma vid neonatalavdelningar. Som stöd för intervjuerna används en intervjuguide, som testas i en pilotintervju. Materialet bearbetas i en kvalitativ innehållsanalys, och resulterar i tre kategorier, 10 subkategorier och ett tema.Resultat: Resultatet redovisas utifrån följande kategorier: att utveckla en vårdande relation, att använda relationsfrämjande arbetssätt på neonatal, att erfara svårigheter att bedriva relationsbaserad vård. Temat för resultatet är; en varsam och utmanande vägledning.Konklusion: Barnsjuksköterskornas erfarenheter av att bedriva relationsbaserad vård på en neonatalavdelning kan förstås som en varsam och samtidigt utmanande vägledning mot föräldraskap.

Bakgrund: MRSA, metcillinresistenta staphyloococcus aureus, ökar idag i Sverige och i hela världen och bidrar till längre vårdtider, kostsamma behandlingar och mycket lidande för de drabbade patienterna och deras anhöriga. Syfte: Studien syftar till att undersöka hur patienter med MRSA upplever sin livssituation.Metod: Litteraturstudie  baserad på tio kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i tre teman benämnda ?Att vårdas?, ?Upplevelse av social förändring? och ?Att vara smittad med MRSA? med tillhörande subteman. Patienterna beskriver att bristfällig eller utebliven information om MRSA, dess symtom och effekter var ett problem. De beskriver också rädsla för att smitta sina närstående och vänner.

Background: Fall injuries are a costly problem for society, with costs ranging up to 14 billion a year. In addition to economic loss accidental falls also creates human value losses and reduced quality of life for its victims. In order to prevent the occurrence of injury related to accidental falls healthcare providers utilize various scientifically developed risk assessment tools, one of them being Downton Fall Risk Index. Method: Empirical, quantitative cross-sectional study. Objective: The purpose of the extended essay was to describe the categories in Downton Fall Risk Index that have a bearing on patients' risk of falling while in hospital and in municipal care, and to illustrate how nurses can use the fall risk assessment tool.
