Interviews were conducted with employees of ABB and were to serve as the basis for our empirical work. A survey by the Communication Center was made in the spring 2010 and was also the basis for our empirical work.ConclusionsThe communication has been increasingly from one-to two-way communication. To get a functioning organization, it is required that the internal communication in the first place will work.

This essay deals with the subject of communication through Facebook. In this survey we studied 100 youths from Karlstad and their communication habits and behavior patterns on Facebook. The social network site Facebook has since its start in 2004 made a mark in modern communication. Today in 2010 the site has more than 500 million users. Background: Domestic violence is a globally widespread problem. One in three women will at some point during their lifetime suffer from domestic violence. These women, who come from all groups of society, often seek contact with health care and therefore the nurse plays a vital role in caring for these women.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe nurses? experiences of caring for women subjected to domestic violence.Method: Literature review based on twelve original articles.Result: The result is presented in four main themes: Lack of knowledge and education, The nurse?s approach and attitude in the encounter with women who suffered domestic violence, The nurse?s emotional challenges in the encounter with women who suffered domestic violence and The nurse?s experience of identification of domestic violence victims.Discussion: Education is important on several levels for the nurse's work with domestic violence victims. Education is required in order to efficiently identify the women, manage emotional impact and to respond to women in a professional manner..

Vårdprofessioner kommunicerar på varierande sätt, har olika mål med kommunikationen samt att det finns flera samtalstekniker. Ett hinder i kommunikationen beskrivs som avsaknad av ett gemensamt språk eller att tolk används till hjälp. Syfte: Att belysa kommunikation, samtalet och lyssnandet i mötet mellan patient och vårdare i vårdmiljö.

The aim of this literature study has been to investigate the general nurse's knowledge of diabetes type 1 and its complications. The questions were: What does the general nurse need to know about diabetes type 1? What does the general nurse know about diabetes type 1? To answer these questions, a literature study has been done of 8 scientific articles. The theoretical reference study on which the study has been based is Gustafsson's SAUK Model for affirmative nursing care. The result shows that the nurse lacks knowledge in the nursing care of diabetes patients and this reflects the fact that little research has been done on diabetes mellitus type 1 in recent years.

The importance of internal communication within companies has increased in recent years. However, there are still a number of companies that are not adapted to the modern world and the new modes of communication the Internet provides. This study evaluates the internal communication of a medium sized company by holding semistructured interviews with the employees. The goal of the interviews was to develop a requirement specification. This requirement specification was later used as the basis to analyze possible aids for the internal communication of the company.

Mulitresistent staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacteria that is resistent against penicillin, this makes it difficulte to treat. MRSA causes woundinfections and other seriouse conditions. If MRSA establishes in an hospital environment it often spreads fast. Common ways of spreading MRSA is through direct or indirect contact. The nurse should work according to guidelines, apply hygienic routines and prevent the spread of infections.

Nurses have an important role caring with the suicidal patient as they often are the first to encounter these individuals. In order to develop their skills, nurses need to understand the complexity of the problem around the thoughts of wanting to die. The purpose of the study was to compile and elucidate research that describes how nurses can provide care to suicidal patients. The method used was a literature review. The results were divided into seven themes that can guide the nurse in the work: to be there, give time and listen, to recognize and assess risk factors, working in a team, to be attentive to own attitudes, to give hope, to be able to process their feelings, increased knowledge of the causes of suicide.

Background: Type 2 diabetes is a chronic disease that vigorously increases worldwide. The disease can affect the entire everyday life which usually results in major lifestyle change.
