Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva vilka faktorer som kan orsaka risk för fel i samband med sjuksköterskans läkemedelshantering samt vad sjuksköterskan kan göra för att förebygga att fel uppstår inom den somatiska slutenvården. Syftet var också att granska artiklarnas kvalité utifrån urval och bortfall.Metod: En beskrivande litteraturstudie som baseras på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar med både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Litteratursökningen genomfördes i databaserna PubMed, Cinahl och Academic Search Elite. Resultat: Faktorer som orsakade att sjuksköterskan begick fel i läkemedelshanteringen var hög arbetsbelastning, bristande kunskaper inom farmakologi, mindre erfarenhet av sjuksköterskeyrket och avbrott i arbetet. Förebyggande åtgärder för att minimera risken att ett fel uppstod i samband med läkemedelshanteringen var att sjuksköterskan ökade sina kunskaper i farmakologi, bidrog till förbättrad arbetsmiljö och kommunikation med annan vårdpersonal samt var nogrannare vid kontroller.Slutsats: Flera förekommande faktorer som orsakade fel i samband med sjuksköterskans läkemedelshantering som hög arbetsbelastning och bristande kunskaper inom farmakologi borde inte vara svåra att förebygga.

Previously when I have made proposals for privately owned gardens, I have found it difficult to find strong, extensive designs and to work with room and space. Since this is the field within which I am going to work in the future I feel that I need more experience, reference material and ideas on how I, in an early stage of the working process, can work with and consider room and space. The aim of this project has therefore been to procure experience, reference material and ideas for design of a garden in relation to space. To procure experience and reference material I have, during the fall of 2008, made two incredible study tours to France and to Japan. I have interviewed the landscaping architect Maria Arborgh and studied literature. I have also used a garden outside of Gothenburg in which I have been able to try out different thoughts and ideas regarding shape that have appeared during the course of my work. My conclusions about landscaping are that you should first find the different functions in the garden. The next step is to find an overall theme or shape, use a small number of materials, build a room with sealing, walls and portals with the help of vertical elements e.g.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patientens upplevelse av besöket på akutmottagningen samt vilka faktorer som påverkade upplevelsen. Syftet var även att beskriva vilka faktorer som möjliggör och hindrar sjuksköterskan att arbeta utifrån ett omvårdnadsperspektiv. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie där 10 artiklar granskades och låg till grund för resultatet vilket visade att patientens upplevelse och faktorer som påverkade upplevelsen av besöket på akutmottagningen var sjuksköterskans omvårdnad, väntetider, akutmottagningens miljö samt vårdpersonalens information och kommunikation. För att sjuksköterskan skulle ha möjlighet att arbeta utifrån ett omvårdnadsperspektiv krävdes vissa kunskaper hos sjuksköterskan, bland annat att ha bred kunskap inte bara i omvårdnad utan även inom medicinska sjukdomar, för att bättre förstå patientens situation. Att vara emotionellt involverad, känna ansvar, ta egna initiativ, vara öppen och lyhörd, genuint intresserad och involverad av patienten och göra det där "lilla extra" gjorde att sjuksköterskan kunde arbeta utifrån ett omvårdnadsperspektiv.

This examine illustrates the section heads' and caregiving staffs' perceptions of the influence of New Public Management (NPM) in public retirement homes in Malmö. A central theme is to investigate if the main features of New Public Management are noticeable and if that's the case, are the consequences an advantage or disadvantage? The main features of New Public Management in this examine are: decentralization, competition, internal market, cost- conscious, management by objectives with a focus on results and costumer focus. To reach answers to the questions above, a quantitative and a qualitative approach has been chosen. The study is based on 41 questionnaires with enrolled nurses/nurse's assistants and four semi-structured interviews with section heads of retirement homes. Four different retirement homes have been participated in this study.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze youth community service in the Kalmar municipality. Our focus was on juvenile offenders and predecessor of public authorities. The juvenile offenders in our study have completed youth community service. A qualitative study was undertaken which include seven interviews. Our empirical data were compared and analyzed with previous research data.

Background:In Sweden and Northern Europe, cardiovascular disease mortality rates are high. The clinical picture in the Western world is dominated by lifestyle diseases in which individual behavior and attitudes have a significant impact on the health effect. In the society cardiovascular disease is seen as an illness factor and contribution to disability. Conditions for a good life are not only good health also factors such as intimate relationships and meaningful work which affect the person's quality of life.Aim:Lifestyle changes and quality of life for patients, regarding cardiovascular disease.Method:A literature review was made. Eight articles, quantitative and qualitative were analyzed.

BAKGRUND: HIV/AIDS (Humant Immunbrist Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) är en epidemi där världens utvecklingsländer är hårdast drabbade. I studier har det framkommit att sjukvårdspersonal har en negativ attityd gentemot denna patientgrupp. Orsaken till detta tros bero på okunskap och rädsla. SYFTE: Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur patienter med HIV/AIDS upplever stigmatisering och diskriminering från vårdpersonal. METOD: En litteraturöversikt, med tio stycken vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserats för att besvara studiens syfte.

This paper conducts a qualitative examination based on interviews with six childrens librarians. The purpose is to put a perspective on the librarians competence and focal knowledge within the area of reading promotion and reading stimulation aimed for children, and also to examine how this competence and knowledge is constructed. The work is based on the following questions: How do childrens librarians experience reading promotion and reading stimulation within their profession? Which competence and what knowledge do childrens librarians experience as most important in order to make their work with reading promotion and reading stimulation function? What can be concluded regarding the construction of their competence and knowledge? The analysis is carried out from theories about competence, tacit knowledge and reading promotion. Following primary conclusions are drawn from the study: The professional role is mainly experienced as promoting reading as pleasure, but also as an important factor for childrens language development.

Introduction: In Sweden the definition of ambulance nursing is the examination and treatment of sick or injured people done by ambulance nurses during transport.  This means not only focus on the illness or injury but also the human being treated. The paramedic service must be based on the presumption that the medical needs of the patients are guaranteed, and that the expectations and demands of the public are satisfied. Competence and availability are basic terms for a well-functional paramedic service. There is a lot of pressure put on the people working with pre-hospital nursing. One mistake can lead to serious consequences for the patient.

Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskans inställning, upplevelse och erfarenhet gällande anhörigas närvaro under HLR samt vad som påverkar sjuksköterskans inställning.Metod: Deskriptiv litteraturstudie. Data till studien inhämtades från databaserna Cinahl, Pubmed och Swemed. Resultatet baserades på 16 artiklar.Resultat: De flesta sjuksköterskor ställer sig negativa till anhörigbevittnad HLR. Nackdelarna överväger fördelarna med att anhöriga närvarar. Utbildning och erfarenhet har betydelse för hur sjuksköterskor ser på anhörigbevittnad HLR.

The purpose of this paper is to study how people without home experience social services and how they experience their space of action when they meet social services. In order to answer these questions, a qualitative approach has been used. The empirical material consists of five interviews with people who have contact with social services because they are homeless. To support my analysis of the space of action for the persons being interviewed, I?ve used two theoretical perspectives, power analysis by Michel Foucault and Rational Choice.

Inom vården kan sjuksköterskan möta patienter med suicidalt beteende, vilket kan upplevas påfrestande och väcka starka känslor hos sjuksköterskan. Det kan även finnas en rädsla och en osäkerhet hos sjuksköterskan till patienter med suicidalt beteende, detta kan leda till att sjuksköterskan nonchalerar de suicidala patienterna. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa sjuksköterskans attityd till patienter med suicidalt beteende. Litteraturstudien genomfördes genom att 5 kvalitativa och 10 kvantitativa artiklar granskades. Det framkom två kategorier, den fördömande attityden samt den tillåtande attityden.

In the world of today, crises and crisis situations are inevitable parts of an organization?s everyday life and it is important for the organization to be prepared for these crises. The organization and its employees have to be in a constant state of alert and they should also have an organized plan for what they will do when (not if) the crisis occurs. The charter tour industry has during a long period of time been active in the global market. They serve thousands of travellers every day and it is the responsibility of the companies within the industry to make sure that their customers are safe and that crises can be prevented, or at least be handled.

Bakgrund: Perifer venkateter (PVK) är en allmän och rutinmässig åtgärd inom hälso- och sjukvården för att kunna lindra, bota och behandla genom att tillföra infusioner, läkemedel eller för att hålla en fri venväg. PVK består av ett främmande material som i kontakt med blod kan leda till att komplikationer som tromboflebiter bildas. Vid minsta tecken på rodnad, ömhet, svullnad, tromboflebit eller extravasation ska PVK avlägsnas. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att beskriva de senaste forskningsrönen kring sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder för att undvika PVK-relaterade komplikationer. Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie där resultatet baserats på kvantitativa och kvalitativa artiklar.

In my essay, I will start with a story that represents my dilemma from my own experience. In the story, dealing with children that challenges teachers and other children in preschool, I wonder how I as a teacher can be fair and inclusive when I feel insufficient on several occasions. I reflect on my own approach because it can be difficult when we encounter children with different needs and abilities in preschool.I write the essay in experience-based essay form. The essays form makes it possible for me to reflect on my own experience and by using selected theoretical perspectives processing my dilemma. In my essay, I explore my own approach, what is meant by fairness and how the concept can be interpreted and how I can in the best way include all children in activities.I conclude that fairness from a perspective can be seen from the five criteria similarity, need, performance, compensation and rights.
