The aim of this study was to understand how social workers deal with honour-related violence, with special focus on the processing from sheltered housing. Our qualitative interviews with social workers that work with this kind of problems show that there are both obstacles and opportunities in the processing from sheltered housing. On the negative side are the loneliness, the shame and the guilt that the girls may experience when they need to leave their families. The social services can both be an obstacles and an opportunity. When the girls need to create a new life in a new city they have a lot of opportunities and in the same time it is hard to get to know new friends when you don´t know the city or have much money.

Introduction: Breast pain, mastalgia, is a common problem for many women. The pain can cause so much concern that the woman seeks help in health care. The cause of concern is often that that the pain may be due to breast cancer. Women with mastalgia are referred for mammography to investigate the cause of the pain. Experience says that the mammography is mostly normal.Aim: The aim of the study was to get an overall picture of the results of the mammograms performed on Mammography SU / Sahlgrenska in 2011.

This is a case study influenced by Grounded Theory and Symbolic Interactionism. Its focus is on a small group of pupils isolated both geographically and socially from the ordinary school. The composition is written from the children?s perspective. Observations and interviews have made it possible to study both the interaction between the children and also the adults, how the children are described by the adults working with them and what expectations they have on the children.In the light of earlier research, our case study can be seen as an example how the school is dealing with the children?s problems.

The purpose of this study is that the stories provide insight into and understanding of institutionalized girls experiences and views on their schooling, and from their stories also explore how schools can create opportunities for students who challenge. An overriding purpose is also that the girls? life stories in the long run lead to a school developing work. Every tenth year a financial crisis tend to interfere with an economy. Price bubbles with an accompanying market plunge are therefore not a new phenomenon. Such market disruptions have been causing problems for centuries, as history has a tendency to repeat itself. The intention with this study is to learn more about the bubble phenomenon and increase the knowledge in this area in order to, if possible, prevent such a thing from happening again. The purpose of the essay is to identify factors that significantly affected the development of the so called IT-bubble in Sweden and Finland during the years of 1995-2000.

Background: Bone anchored hearing system is a surgically implantable system for treatment ofindividuals with hearing loss. The Softband is intended for patients who can benefit from a boneanchored hearing system but who are not yet suitable for implant surgery.Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate whether an adhesive bone conductor, Adjoin, canbe used as an alternative to Softband.Material and Method: Twenty adult subjects with normal hearing participated in the study.Measurement of functional gain and speech intelligibility was performed with Softband and Adjoinwhich then were compared. A questionnaire was answered by the participants after the measurementsthat treated their subjective experiences with each option.Results: The objective measurements yielded no overall difference between Softband and Adjoin forthe group studied. The subjective results showed differences in the perceived comfort as well as whichof the two bone conductors that would be preferred to use in everyday life, with Adjoin being thepreferred option. No difference was detected on participants perceived gain, sound quality and speechintelligibility.Conclusion: Based on the measured results, Adjoin seems to be a suitable alternative to Softband.However, there are questions about how Adjoin works with long-term use..

A manual preparing of the samples is required. More recently an automated and enclosed blood cell counting, Celldyn Sapphire has been introduced. In this study the performance of the Flow cytometer EPICS XL as a reference method for analysis of CD3+, CD4+ and CD8 T-lymphocytes was evaluated with blood from 40 individual?s samples.

Syftet med min uppsats har varit att undersöka hur tre kvinnor genom sina berättelser om jobbiga förlossningar gjort sina upplevelser begripliga i relation till normer om kvinnlighet. Undersökningen består av tre semistrukturerade intervjuer vilka jag, med ett narrativt angreppssätt, analyserat genom att göra en innehållsanalys och en formanalys. Resultatet visar att det i kvinnornas berättelser framkommer tydliga normer kopplade till kvinnlighet. Normerna är flera, men handlar på det stora hela om att barnafödande är någonting naturligt som kvinnor ska klara av utan problem. Då kvinnornas berättelser handlar om upplevelser som avviker från denna norm måste de hela tiden positionera sig själva och sina upplevelser i relation till normen för att kunna förstå sin upplevelse och göra den legitim.

Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva anhörigas upplevelse av att leva med och vårda en person med Alzheimers sjukdom i hemmet. Metod: Studien utfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie.

The main aim of this essay was to find out what kind of advantages and/or disadvantages giving marks in pupils order and behaviour can cause for their development of knowledge and emotional and social skills. We let teachers answer a questionnaire about giving marks in pupils order and behaviour. We have also interviewed one person that was involved to prepare the latest curriculum in 1994, Lpo 94, and they decided that Swedish teachers do not have the right competence to judge ones order or behaviour. We have also looked at different theories about: mark as motivation, mark as information, mark as control, self-fulfilling prophecy, emotional disorders and gender, with whom we analyse the fact to give marks in order and behaviour.What we can establish is that giving marks in pupils order and behaviour seems to bring more disadvantages than advantages. Boys mature later than girls and have there for, in general, not as good behaviour as the girls have in the classroom.

En av barnmorskans uppgifter under förlossningen är att ge kvinnan stöd. Det finns lite forskat kring vad som ärstärkande för en kvinna i samband med förlossning. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad kvinnor upplevdesom stärkande under normal förlossning. Fyra kvinnor intervjuades och de transkriberade intervjuernaanalyserades genom innehållsanalys med en induktiv ansats. Resultatet består av fyra kategorier: tillit till sigsjälv och sin kropp, förberedelse, stöd från partnern, och stöd från barnmorskan.

Bakgrund: Ett flertal studier tycks visa på att kolhydratdryck under träning fördröjer tröttheten och många forskare hävdar att en kolhydrat- dryck kan öka prestationsförmågan. Det finns däremot få studier som har utvärderat om kolhydratdryck påverkar precisionen, endast Burke och Ekbloms studie från 1984 på tennisspelare har berört denna aspekt. Syftet med studien var att utvärdera huruvida dryck med kolhydrater påverkar en basketspelares precision jämfört med en dryck utan kolhydrater.
