Vi har fördjupat oss i hur brottsanalys och gärningsmanna-profilering används som ett komplement i utredningar av grövre brott.

This essay deals with the principle of surprise warfare and its development as well as the adaptation of military action that had to be made to surprise the opponent in the modern era.The concept of surprise is divided into its components in order to clarify what is required to implement a surprising maneuver, to understand the complex concept and form a theoretical framework for gathering facts in the case study.Development and adaption are demonstrated by a comparative case study where Pearl Harbor illustrates an example of historical surprise and Operation Desert Storm illustrates a modern surprise. The product will then be analyzed in order to detect the development and how military conduct is forced to adapt in order to carry out a surprising maneuver. The results shows that the military action of performing a surprise attack has had a major development and is now carried out in a different stage of the attack..

The EU has decided that it should be possible for consumers to get information about the origin of the electricity they buy. Therefore, there is a need to examine different systems for electricity disclosure. In this thesis two ways of disclosure have been studied:? Certificate system. A certificate system involves two parallel markets, one for trading electrical energy and one for trading certificates of origin.? Separated Markets.

Tematiserande intervjuer har genomförts för att undersöka och förstå huruvida vuxendöva personer som har genomgått en CI-operation har iakttagit förändringar i sin identitetsupplevelse när hörseln förbättrats. Studien är kvalitativ och utgår från individens egna upplevelser kring cochlea implantat (CI). Antalet implantat ökar. Studien belyser personliga berättelser och erfarenheter av CI när man återfår hörselförmåga. Dessa berättelser är mycket viktiga eftersom de ger oss kunskap om det stöd dessa personer behöver genom deras rehabilitering, en slags kunskap som fortfarande i stor utsträckning saknas.

Pyometra är namnet på en av våra vanligaste och allvarligaste hundsjukdomar. Sjukdomen drabbar främst äldre tikar och innebär en varig och inflammerad livmoder. Den exakta patogenesen diskuteras fortfarande, men alla är överens om att sjukdomens utveckling beror på ett samspel mellan en hormonellt påverkad livmoder och opportunistiska bakterier. Tikar som drabbas blir ofta mycket snabbt nedsatta och tillståndet kräver akut behandling. Den vanligaste och säkraste metoden innefattar en operation där livmodern och äggstockarna opereras bort. De senaste 30 åren har emellertid en hel del studier gjorts av möjligheten att behandla pyometra medicinskt för att kunna bevara den reproduktiva förmågan hos tiken.

This thesis work is executed at Business Unit Ericsson Test Environment (BETE), in Linköping. BETE is the department at Ericsson, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the company's Operations Support System (OSS). Their management system was outdated and they wanted it to be updated and it also required new features. The database needed to be replaced and the data migrated to a new database without licensing costs. The system also needed a part where employees could manage existing users.As a programming language PHP was chosen for its dynamic possibilities, platform independence and good support for database intergration.

Syftet med detta fördjupningsarbete är att få en fördjupad kunskap om polisens samarbete med vårdpersonal. Vi har avgränsat oss till att studera polishandräckningar åt psykavdelningen och tillnyktringsenheten i Skellefteå och Umeå för att se om det finns någonting som går att förbättra. Vi tror inte att det är en tillfällighet att det sker olyckor vid just handräkningsärenden. Vi har efter lite efterforskningar insett att det inte finns så mycket information nedskrivet om hur samarbetet fungerar, utan det mesta är oskrivna rutiner och regler som både vårdpersonalen och poliserna tar förgivet att motparterna vet. Det vi vill belysa är hur polisen och vårdpersonalen samarbetar rent säkerhetsmässigt och hur det kan utvecklas.

Perioperativ omvårdnad är de vårdhandlingar och vårdaktiviteter som utförs av en anestesi- och operationssjuksköterska under de pre-, intra- och postoperativa fa-serna i samband med en patients operation. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa patienters upplevelser av perioperativ omvårdnad med inriktning mot peri-operativ dialogmodell. Forskningsprocessen inspirerades av Goodmans sju steg och metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie som grundade sig på tio veten-skapliga artiklar. Som teoretisk referensram har Orlandos omvårdnadsteori an-vänts. Resultatet visade att när den perioperativa omvårdnaden var organiserad enligt perioperativ dialogmodell upplevde patienterna bland annat att sjuksköters-kan hade tid för dem, operationen var något de skulle genomföra tillsammans och sjuksköterskan upplevdes se patienten som en resurs.

Objective:This study aimed to investigate the correlation between physical activity level (PAL), measured with activity diary and accelerometer, among overweight and obese children and adolescents. The aim was also to study differences in PAL between girls and boys.Design:55 children and adolescents, whom been subjected to a physical activity registration with a physical activity diary and accelerometer during three or four days, were included in this study. From the data received from the children?s journal records PAL was calculated and compiled for statistic analysis.Results:The results of the study showed that the children underestimated their physical activity level when measured with activity diary, in comparison with the physical activity level measured with accelerometer. Differences between girl and boys PAL values were not statistically significant, although the girls PAL values from the accelerometer, but not from the activity diary, reached a moderate activity level according to Nordic nutrition recommendation.

CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, has become increasingly important in a globalised world where the responsibilities of companies and governments are somewhat blurry. The textile industry is an industry where long supply chains and raw material production in developing countries are factors adding to the complexity and difficulties of solving ethical issues. Cotton production faces many environmental, social and financial challenges in the value chain. Therefore this case study takes a closer look at five Nordic home textile companies, Ikea, Hemtex, S Group, Moko and Finlayson, and how these companies choose their cotton related CSR tools and communicate their work on this area. These companies are of various sizes and therefore the resources for CSR work are also different, as well as the perceived values for working with CSR.

En god smärtlindring efter operation leder till minskat lidande och kortare vårdtider. Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor kan bedöma postoperativ smärta hos patienter med höftfraktur. Metod: En litteraturstudie där 10 artiklar granskats och sammanställts. Resultat: Det finns många olika instrument för smärtbedömning.

Thinning is the partial removal of trees in a forest stand prior to final harvest. The term can be divided in pre-commercial thinning where little if any volume is removed from the stand and commercial thinning where removals are intended to provide a positive economic result. From a silvicultural point of view, the goal of thinning is to enhance future crop tree quality by removing low-quality stems and providing sufficient space for the accelerated development of retained ones (Huuskonen & Hynynen, 2006). The goals of this study was to see if commercial thinning could positively affect the short and medium term timber supply (MTTS) in the Interior regions of British Columbia (BC), and whether or not Scandinavian forestry practices could be adopted in the BC context. The mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae Hopkins) has created significant forest planning problems in BC. The annual allowable cut (AAC) was raised to capture beetle-killed timber while still merchantable.

AbstractThe use of temporary agency workers has increased significantly during the last decades. Due to considerable differences in the legal status and working conditions of temporary agency workers within the EU, the directive 2008/104/EC on temporary agency work was adopted in 2008. The current directive has a two folded purpose, first and foremost to improve the employment and working conditions for temporary agency workers, by establishing the principle of equal treatment. The second purpose is to create greater acceptance for the temporary work agencies, and also to review and remove any unjustified restrictions or prohibitions against them.There are several different models for labour market regulation represented within the EU. The Swedish and Nordic model has through history relied heavily on regulation via collective agreements, entered into by the social partners, with a minimal amount of state interference and regulation.For Sweden there is a potential problem in the implementation of the directive on temporary agency work, since it follows from case law by the European Court of Justice (ECJ).

The work place is becoming more flexible and an increasing number of employees report to a leader in another location or country. The borders between different countries, work places and cultures are diminished to a greater extent than before. Working from a distance means new opportunities in terms of competence development, flexibility in working hours, tasks and resources, a larger platform for various career opportunities and an expanded network. The purpose with this study is to examine how leaders can create a successful virtual team and motivate remotely. The qualitative study is carried out through interviews with leaders and employees within Nielsen Nordic.

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to analyze the experience of being a woman diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Another aim was to analyze how the women think itwould have influenced them, if they had been diagnosed during childhood.In the study, with a qualitatively approach, three women diagnosed with ADHD were interviewed. The data was analyzed with qualitative content analysis.The result shows that the women perceived affirmation when they received their diagnosis but they also pointed out that they had wished to receive the diagnose during childhood to avoid unnecessary suffering.The conclusion of the study was that it is essential to, as early as possible, follow up deviances in children and adolescents. Therefore, there is a need for more knowledge of how symptoms of ADHD in girls present itself.It is reasonable to believe that if healthcare and school have increased knowledge of symptoms of ADHD in girls, then these girls would be diagnosed at an earlier time.Keywords:ADHD,women,girls,treatment,self?esteem.
