Uppfattningarna om skillnaderna i svenskarnas och finländarnas sätt att fatta beslut är väletablerade och dokumenterade i form av två nationella beslutsfattandemodeller: den finska och den svenska modellen. På 1980-talet var dessa uppfattningar den allmänna sanningen men nu, 20 år senare vill vi i vår undersökning ifrågasätta dessa skillnader och modellernas existens. Syftet med vår undersökning är därmed att utifrån de finska och svenska beslutsfattandeteorierna beskriva hur management beslutsfattandeprocesserna går till i respektive land. Vidare kommer vi undersöka huruvida beslutsfattandeprocessen ser likadan ut bland finska och svenska chefer som den ser ut enligt den finska respektive svenska beslutsfattandemodellen. Undersökningen bygger på den finska och den svenska modellen vilka är konstruktioner utav olika författares studier.

From an Evolutionary psychology point of view focusing on Attachment theory will this essay describe how adopted adults think about their roots. To find an answer to this purpose a several miner questions has been asked: Are their any earlier research according to Evolutionary psychology about internationally adopted? Is it possible to understand the creation of the identity in relation to the Attachment theory? In what way do the adoptees think that their youth has effected their situation of life? And finally, is there any specific time when the adoptees have had even more thoughts about their roots?We have tried to find the answer on these questions through a qualitative study. Questions have been asked to eight internationally adopted adults, in age between 24-33 years.The result from the study makes it even that adopted individuals thoughts about their roots get incensed in some specific periods in life. One period is adolescence, another is parenthood.

Sedan sensommaren 2008 har en global finansiell kris drabbat världen. Det blev turbulens på den finansiella kapitalmarknaden vilket även har drabbat de Svenska bankerna. Syftet med denna uppsats är följaktligen att beskriva hur de svenska bankerna har agerat för att hantera den finansiella krisen. Undersökningen innefattar tre av de största bankerna i Sverige, Handelsbanken, Nordea och Swedbank. Teorier inom krishantering ligger till grund för den modell i fyra steg (Krisförberedelse, Krisidentifiering, Krisåtgärder och Lärdomar) som sedan jämförs med hur bankerna har agerat.

The loss of a child affects the whole human existence, the grief can be very intense as well as in-depth and find expression both on an emotional, physical, mental and spiritual level. Aim: The aim is to describe parents? experiences of losing a child to illness. Method: Graneheim and Lundmans manifest content analysis method was used to the method based on qualitative raw material in forms of three Swedish autobiographies.

Abstract The aim was to see how burn victims experience their situation and if they feel suffering. Then it is discussed against different perspectives of suffering. The problems were ?How does a burn victim experience their situation??, ?Does a burn victim suffer?? and ? How does the attitude inflect the suffering?? To find the answers, the authors made a literature review in which already published interviews from ordinary papers were used. In the result, the authors used the individual?s own words.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how Irish people on a rural location practice their faith in everyday life. The intention is also to find out what strategies my interviewees use to negotiate the abuse scandal and what their thoughts on the Catholic Church are. The material mainly consists of interviews with seven people part of a rural parish in Ireland. My research also entails smaller observations and conversations in the homes of the participants.The results indicate that they all consider themselves religious, however not all Catholic. All of the participants integrate their religion in everyday life.

Every year an avorage of 40 000 Swedes fall ill with different forms of cancer. Chemotheraphy has an effect on the tumour cells as well as the healthy cells in the body, this causes many side effects which can be very problematic for the patient. The study was carried out in order to indicate the care measures that are taken to deal with the side effects i. e stomatit, loss of hair and sickness/vomiting, that are connected with chemotheraphy so that the outpatients will experience a quality of life. The method used was a qualitative interview with six nurses from the South if Sweden, all of whom are working with chemotheraphy patients.

The city contains a great multitude of people of different ages and different lifestyles and the urban environment should be planned and designed for everyone to take part in the social life of the city. The main reason among people for heading towards the city centre is to make purchases or to run errands, but also the social aspects are very important. A socially active city is worth striving for as an empty city can lead to unsecurity, fear and hostility between people. This paper discusses mainly the possibilities to encourage people to do physical activities on public places in the city. In Sweden the lifestyle of people in general has changed to the worse in aspects of health over the last decades which has led to the fact that many people in Sweden today suffer from obesity.

This degree project documents the meeting of four high-school students with working life before and during the practical training period, which is a mandatory part of the Swedish media curriculum. We looked into practical training, which we qualify as the crossroads between school and working life, from a student?s perspective. We chose to approach the problem theoretically via hermeneutics and we used the case study method for our field research. The foundation of our pre-understanding of the media curriculum?s practical training period lays on previously published research, the study of specialist literature, own experience gained during practical training and teaching experience at high-schools as well as a pre-study we carried out.

Syfte: Vi ämnar undersöka huruvida tillämpning av reglerna för säkringsredovisning bidrar till en bättre redovisning för bankerna. Dessutom har vi för avsikt att belysa praktiska problem förknippade med säkringsredovisning. Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Den består av två steg. Vi började med att kartlägga den offentliga debatten på området som att sedan följa upp de frågor som väcktes med semistrukturerade intervjuer.

The nurse´s role is to support both parents in their role as mother and father. Aim: The aim was to describe men?s and women?s experiences of the loss of a child.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att jämföra tre av Sveriges största bankers kontinentfonder under perioden 2008-2010, som innefattar både en nedgång och uppgång i börsen.Metod: Studien baseras på kvantitativ data från den oberoende utgivare av fondinformation Morningstar, där all information om de berörda fonderna finns. Kompletterande data kommer hämtas in från bankerna. Urvalet kommer bestå av tre fonder från Asien, tre från Europa och tre från Nordamerika. Bankerna som fonderna kommer ifrån är Handelsbanken, Nordea och SEB.Resultat och slutsats: De fonder som gick bäst under uppgångsfasen 2009-2010 var helt klart Asienfonderna som gick i snitt upp cirka 65%. Under nedgångsfasen 2008 däremot så hade Asienfonderna gått ner mest och de fonderna som klarade sig bäst var Nordamerikafonderna.

This leads to minimization of both transports to the recycling stations and truck transport for emptying the containers at the recycling station.The greenhouse effect deteriorates and becomes worse and worse leading to extreme climate changes and natural disasters such as floods as an example. Carbon dioxide emissions are the major reason for this and at least 30 percent of all these emissions come directly from transports. In the EU carbon emissions has decreased in the past few years.
