Bakgrund: Att förstå grunderna till företags strategiska handlande har blivit ett omfattande forskningsområde. Vissa forskare är av åsikten att företag bör vara marknadsorienterade, vilket innebär att de styrs av marknaden, medan andra anser att företagens egna kompetenser bör avgöra hur de ska agera. Mot bakgrund av detta undersöks i denna studie hur teleoperatörer handlar strategiskt, samt hur de går tillväga för att skapa flexibilitet. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad som karaktäriserar marknads- respektive resursorienterade företag, samt vilka skillnader som finns i deras sätt att skapa strategisk flexibilitet. Avgränsningar: I denna uppsats studeras svenska teleoperatörer som verkar inom både fast och mobil telefoni.

The first four AP-funds have a well-diversified Swedish portfolio, which is managed in similar way as the largest Swedish bank funds. Up until today, there has not been any comparable study that focuses specifically on this part of the AP-funds. Our aim is two-folded; First we will look at how well the AP-funds have managed their Swedish assets compared with Swedish funds of the four largest banks in Sweden during 2002-2006. This will be done by looking at some important key ratios and both absolute and active return. Secondly we will present a descriptive analysis of the management structure within the respective organisations, to be able to draw conclusions regarding the possible deviations in investment return.

The aim of the study was to examine collaboration and professional perspectives on the best interest of the child in regards to working with unaccompanied asylum seeking children. Firstly, our result show that counselling is available for the unaccompanied children from case workers, staff, school counsellors and emergency psychiatric care. All of the participants in this study describe the need for long-term counselling for unaccompanied children, however, providing the long-term counselling is not the primary purpose of the organisations in question. Therefore an additional service-provider working with counselling is a necessity. Secondly, the study explores the participants? professional perspectives on the best interest of the child.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom intervjuer med medarbetare i två olika organisationer undersöka om, och i sådana fall hur, olika delar i en organisation kan påverka arbetsgivare och arbetstagares förhållningssätt till frågor rörande alkohol och arbetet med drog- och alkoholpolicyn. Vidare har syftet varit att se vilken roll denna policy spelar i arbetet med dessa frågor.De frågeställningar vi har för avsikt att besvara är följande:? Hur förhåller sig medlemmar i organisationen till problem rörande alkohol?? Finns likheter eller skillnader mellan hur medlemmar förhåller sig till en organisations alkoholpolicy respektive hur de agerar i praktiken?? Vad är det som påverkar dessa förhållningssätt?De resultat vi har fått fram pekar på tydliga tendenser till att alkohol- och drogpolicyn inte används som ett verktyg i frågor rörande alkohol och droger i de undersökta organisationerna. Trots detta stämmer medarbetares tillvägagångssätt många gånger överens med det som står i respektive organisations policy. Detta beror till största del på dokumentens vaga utformning.

Förmågan att dela med sig av kunskap inom organisationen och att vara en innovativ organisation är idag avgörande för ett företags konkurrenskraft. Organisationens förmåga att lära är inget som uppkommer slumpmässigt och det har visat sig vara möjligt att skapa kreativa och lärande miljöer genom ett konsekvent arbete. Litteraturen visar på en rad element att beakta för att vara en lyckosam lärande organisation. En av dessa är hur organisationen strukturerar sina resurser. Det har visat sig ha stor betydelse på vilka nivåer besluten tas och hur nära besluten medarbetarna känner sig.

In the last years people has become more aware of issues regarding corporate social responsibility. This has led to a more thorough control of big multinational companies, which are often held account of violating social, ethical and environmental values. The term most often used for this is corporate social responsibility (CSR). H&M is a Swedish multinational company and the concept of H&M is fashion to a low price. The material most often used in producing clothes is cotton.

This study is about being manager in social care and social welfare organisations. Ten women managers participate in the study and share their thoughts about management. Such organisations are an area where women are most frequent, so we wanted to take part of experiences women managers in this area obtain. The study concentrates upon factors these women encounter and which they feel can affect them in their daily work. The study shows that the women we interviewed have a basic interest in humans and a strong commitment to working for human well being.

Organisations tend to focus more and more on product and process development to increase their competitiveness. Several major organisations, among them ABB, have developed models aimed to more effectively control and manage product development processes. ABB is using its standardised model ABB Gate Model for this. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the introduction of ABB Gate Model has affected the outcome of decisions and also the decision-making in the product development process. The study is limited to elucidate the version of ABB Gate Model handling product development projects.

Ett uttryck som har uppkommit inom den internationella beskattningsrätten under det senaste året är BEPS. Begreppet står för Base Erosion and Profit Shifting, och syftar till det projekt som OECD driver åt G20:s vägnar. Projektets syfte är att skapa förutsättningar och verktyg för länder att motverka aggressiv skatteplanering som eroderar länders skattebaser. Projektets resultat är i skrivande stund inte färdigt, men det finns mycket som tyder på att vi kommer att se en förändring inom både intern och internationell dubbelbeskattningsavtalsrätt inom de kommande åren.Ett av fokusområdena inom projektet är OECD:s modellskatteavtals omdiskuterade definition av fast driftställe. En definition som vi i Sverige delvis använder oss av vid utformning av definition till fast driftställe i IL 2:29, och där modellskatteavtalets kommentarer används vid tolkning av paragrafen.

In the long run many companies have chosen to use these benefits in an efficient way by promoting their own country brand, especially in their internationalization process. The aim of this study is to see what factors that influence companies in the Swedish food industry while using the fact that they are Swedish when they enter foreign markets. Method: Data was collected through interviews with export managers and sales managers at 6 Swedish companies exporting products within the food industry.

The thesis aims at describing how culture is produced and reproduced at IF Friskis&Svettis Stockholm, a Swedish non-profit training association. Background and research problem: The former highly inflationary property market is currently undergoing a stagnation process. Investors have been used to annual growth figures in double digits,but now this is no longer considered to be a realistic outlook for future years. According to a report from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Urban Land Institute, published by Avanza Wealth Management,the three most attractive markets for property investment in Europe are London, Paris and Stockholm. Because of this the authors have focused their investigation on two companies in the London andStockholm. The authors will additionally use an international bank, an estate agent and a consultancy firm for further information, with regards to the property market and risks associated with these typesof investment in particular.
