Datasäkerhet : Hur man skyddar sig mot interna hot
As the companies of today are good at protecting themselves against external threats, but are having problems with internal threats, we focused on how information can be protected from ending up in the wrong hands. First and foremost to protect information from employees who might steal it and sell it to another company. Since the security investments needed are connected to the financial costs of implementing them we have tried to create a balance between the investments needed and the cost of implementing them. The different kinds of protection needed are first and foremost protection to make data less accessable, passwords and traceability. While it is hard for us to estimate the amount of money a company lose by the hour when the production stands still, we have not been able to use any of the excising models to calculate the profit of installing countermeasures.
Integration mellan skog & förädlingsindustri : en intervjuundersökning
The aim of this master thesis is to study the integration in Sweden between forestry and bulky industries as fiber- and sawmilling companies. The analysis is based on theories about transaction cost economies and competitive strategy. The studied companies are active on the Swedish roundwood market. The buying actors on this market were divided into two groups; fiber- and sawmill industries. Three companies from each group were chosen subjectively by the author.

AbstractThis essay contains a comparison between principals and supervisors within the Health-care and is focused on their view regarding their own leadership. It contains a comparison between their respective models for leadership and how to evolve as a leader within these two organizations.The study is carried out as in dept interviews with four principals and four supervisors.The results show that the principals have a sufficient education and a broad network, but they need the opportunity to a personal development within their leadership. On the other hand, within the Health-care, the supervisors stand on a good base of education where focus lies on the personal development within the leadership. However, they need more opportunities to build up their networks.The conclusion that can be drawn is that these two organisations would gain on learning from each other, in order to establish as good conditions as possible to improve the leaderships within their own organization..

Today every organization is committed to some kind of environmental scanning in order to get necessary knowledge of the world around them. The acquisition, organization and storage of information in combination with a strategic use, is today an important factor for a successful organisation in any sector of our society.In this Master thesis I have studied how an organisation such as The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) handles its information resources. I have also looked at the flow of information within the organization. The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is Sweden?s largest business federation representing 50 member organizations and 55 000 member companies.

Our task was to create a virtual test bench for verifying memory addresses in our commissioning body?s models. The purpose with the testbench was that it should be created in such a way that it would be easy to change the device under test without any major changes in the testbench.To solve the problem that the testbench had to be able to verify different devices we had to create a general enviroment for how the testbench had to be composed. By doing an analysis of which com-ponents that are usually included in a testbench and which components that were necessary in our project we came up with a generall enviroment for the testbench. Women who support themselves through self-employment are relatively low compared to men, in Sweden. Women make up around 30 percent of newly started enterprises. The Swedish government considers that the Swedish economical growth would increase if there were more companies. Through encouraging women to start enterprises to the same extent as men, Sweden can increase growth rate and create more employment. Despite all efforts being made, advances are not really reached.
Webbkonfiguratorer - Konsten att skräddarsy på Internet
Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att identifiera och beskriva de faktorer
som kritiskt inverkar på en webbkonfigurators framgång och öka förståelsen
kring faktorernas påverkan ur ett företagsperspektiv. Vårt syfte är även att
försöka identifiera och beskriva eventuella mönster, som kan ses som generella
inom området för webbkonfiguratorer.
Metod: Som metod för insamling av empirisk data, har vi använt oss utav
enkäter. Dessa har sänts ut via elektronisk post till de medverkande företagen.
Vi har även genomfört ett test av de medverkande företagens webbkonfiguratorer.
Slutsats: Vi har med bakgrund av våra empiriska och teoretiska data
identifierat och beskrivit ett antal faktorer som vi kan se som essentiella för
en webbkonfigurators framgång. Vi har även kunnat urskilja vissa mönster, som
är generella och oberoende av bransch eller produkt..
Complexity Leadership: En analys av ledarskap och dynamiska nätverk
Undersökningens syfte är att förklara hur chefer agerar vid ledningsdrivna och
vid spontant uppkomna förändringsinitiativ i en organisatorisk miljö där det
finns informella nätverk av specialiserade kompetenser.
Arbetet kombinerar en kvalitativ ansats för att utforska och beskriva chefers
ledarskapsmetoder genom djupintervjuer med en kvantitativ undersökning i
enkätform riktat mot chefer och även mot deras medarbetare med
specialistkompetens.
Studiens slutsats är att de undersökta cheferna har metod och förmåga att skapa
goda förutsättningar för förändring samt att stötta samverkan och innovation i
informella nätverk inom den lokala enhetens kontext. Cheferna saknar dock god
förmåga och metodik för att kunna utöka detta till att omfatta och inverka på
företagets nyttoskapande som helhet.

Chachaklum, a viable initiative? : a stakeholder management approach towards a community enterprise
Due to poorly functioning local and regional markets, the smallholders in San Francisco, Petén, were dependent on intermediaries that took advantage of the smallholder?s distance to markets. In an attempt to secure income and strengthen their bargaining position, 189 smallholders joined forces through the creation of a social smallholder network, held together by a community based enterprise. This enterprise was initiated in 2011 with the help of government incentive programmes and NGOs that within a few years will leave the enterprise to auto regime.
This study treats the sustainability of a community forest based enterprise, Chachaklum, in northern Guatemala. The study identifies factors that enable smallholders to organize themselves in order to obtain business practices that support an improved standard of living.

This master thesis deals with the differences in the design of the environmental scanning between different kinds of organisations, as well as the demands and regulations etc. in the respective environments that influence the environmental scanning. The content of the environmental scanning and the organisation of the function are outside the scope of this study. Two organisations that do not have an organised function but are scanning their environment were chosen for the investigation. A model for conducting the environmental scanning developed by Frankelius is used to analyse the practice of environmental scanning.
