Forestry supply chains are a significant part of the Swedish economy. These supply chains are highly susceptible to storms damage. In late 2013 Sweden was hit by multiple storms. This leads to the possibility to research how supply chains react to the shocks that storms cause. The aim of this thesis is to research the costs that storms increase, the actions that are taken within the forestry supply chain, as well as possible benefactors from storms. This thesis bases on previous work on supply chain mapping and cost theories.

Det finns en önskan om att finna bättre parametrar för att kunna förutse hur fodret fungerar i kon. Svenska Foder AB redovisar därför måtten smältbar fiber, ((NDF* EFD)+pektin) och fiberkvot, ((NDF* EFD)+pektin)/ stärkelse, i sina kraftfoder. Genom att välja olika sorters kolhydrater kommer foderstaten och därmed djuren att påverkas på olika sätt. En stor del av kornas foderstater består av kolhydrater. Arbetet har försökt att belysa om det finns en skill-nad i produktion och hälsa på gårdar där man har en hög andel smältbar fiber i foderstaten jämfört med gårdar som har en hög andel stärkelse i foderstaten.

The following thesis concerns the conceptualization of openness within the open access movement. Open accesscan be understood as a phenomenon or a movement that aims at changing the current system of scholarly communication.Consequentially, the movements goals arose in relation to the escalating serials crisis in scholarly communicationand the increasing power of commercial publishers. The purpose of the thesis is to study three centralopen access declarations with the aim of uncovering the different conceptualizations of openness found withinthese texts. Leaning on the theoretical position known as actor-network theory, the declarations role within a surroundingnetwork is explored by focusing on how openness as a concept has been produced and reproduced bycentral actors. Two overarching questions frames the study: How is openness conceptualized within the declarations?And how can openness, as a concept, be understood as an effect generated by a larger network?The first part of the study focuses on the first question.

Det föreligger fem dokument i uppsatsen. Dessa är krediten, säkerhetsbilagan, avtal i anledning av säkerhetsöverlåtelse, överlåtelseavtal samt godkännande av överlåtelsen av arrenderätten. Det är dock oklart hur dessa förhåller sig till varandra då de verkar för olika saker trots att de är upprättade i ett nära funktionellt och tidsmässigt sam-band. Syftets första del är att utreda hur avtalen ska bedömas, om de tillsammans ska ses som ett och samma avtal genom sammanflätning eller om de ska bedömas isole-rade från varandra då varje avtal kan utgöra sin egen kosmos. Sammanflätningen mel-lan tre avtal, ?Avtal i anledning av säkerhetsöverlåtelse, överlåtelseavtal samt godkän-nande av överlåtelsen av arrenderätten? ansågs vara så stark av olika anledningar att det inte skulle bedömas isolerade från varandra utan de utgör tillsammans ett avtal.

Idag tillämpas den s.k. bruksvärdeshyran som har sin grund i att lägenhetens standard avgörhyran. Företagets produktionskostnader ska ej tas i beaktande vid ett bruksvärdessystem. Detmedför både för- och nackdelar för hyresgästen. Om företagets kostnader överstigervärderingen av de standardhöjande åtgärderna kan detta inte åläggas hyresgästerna samtidigtsom hyresgästerna ej ålägger en hyresrabatt när åtgärderna kan avses avbetalad.

Purpose: Reading aloud to children and having a conversation about a book, which is read to them, has attracted much attention as important factors that influence children's language development. Language development for children is one of the most important tasks that the preschool- teachers have, and according to ?Läroplanet?, all children must have the opportunity to develop their language. The aim of this study was to examine how reading aloud, and by letting them speak about a certain book, ?boksamtal? impacts preschool-children`s ability to develop their language according to preschool- teachers.Method: I have used a qualitative method by interviewing four preschool- teachers.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine the virtual reference service Ask the Library [Bibblan svarar] from a postmodern perspective. Ask the Library is a Swedish online reference service that is run by the country?s public libraries. The postmodern theories of Jean-François Lyotard are used to study how information is managed and transmitted within the service.

Background: Getting older means a series of changes in life, some of which lead toincreased risk of poor health outcomes. Older people who immigrate to a new countryalso need to adapt to new cultures and norms, and having to learn a new language inorder to communicate with their environment. Being older and immigrant thus leads toa double vulnerability. Aim: The aim of this literature review was to examine how olderimmigrants? health is affected by not being able to communicate in a country?s officiallanguage.

Change is a natural state for both people and institutions, but as the surrounding world moves faster it becomes important to quickly be able to adjust to new conditions. Customers? force of negotiation increases as the global competition grows. One factor that becomes more vital to customers is the amount of quality standard a company can offer them. Several factors are essential if a work of change will be considered a successful investment, where the change can be perceived in both a positive and negative way for an employee.

This explorative study focuses on young, university attending males (22-27 years) and their understanding and pratice of the classic tail coat. It is based on five qvalitatively interpreted interwievs with a total of six participants, and through open questions regarding individuality and identicalness, limits and possibilities and inclusion and exclusion, a masculininty of a less contemporary hue takes shape. These conversations have revealed the tail coats potential of respresenting a male stereotype that can set a foundational and minimal standard for inclusion. Above this layer these males can then manifest and negotiate their masculine position in a homosocial hierarchy which decides the amount of passage, privilieges and confirmation of self- worth received for the wearer. These negotiation is performed by value bearing symbols (such as medallions, cordons and the like) allowed by the wearer and by the actions that systematically ensure that the lines of the tail coat are watched and unbroken.

In this essay I analyze the performative aspects relating to Marina Abramovi?'s The Artist Is Present, which took place in spring 2010 at MoMA in New York, from the context of the artist and work, institution and documentation. In this performance work, for the duration of the exhibition, Abramovi? sits completely still opposite another chair where anyone from the audience may sit. The art arises through this participation.

Vallfoder är en stor och viktig del i mjölkkornas foderstat i norra Sverige. Produktion av ett högkvalitativt grovfoder är av stor vikt för att minimera behovet av inköpta kraftfoder. Kons dagliga konsumtion bestäms av hennes behov av näring och energi samt vilket foder hon erbjuds. För att inte begränsa konsumtionen med för stor volym foder behöver vallfodret vara av god kvalité avseende fibersmältbarhet och energiinnehåll. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att studera om fibersmältbarhet skiljer sig mellan sorter inom arterna timotej och rödklöver.15 olika sorter av timotej respektive rödklöver ingående i SW Seed?s sortprovning skör-dades vid tre påföljande veckor från provrutor i Röbäcksdalen, Västerbotten, för att mot-svara tidpunkten en vecka innan axgång/knoppning, veckan för axgång/knoppning samt veckan efter axgång/knoppning under sommaren 2009.
