In this paper we have theoretically built a house designed for people with impaired mobility. Theessay begins with an introduction in which the purpose of the work, the methodology and thedepth-research part is presented. Then the layout that explains how we intend to adapt the housefor the demands detailed in the depth-research part is presented. In the same chapter variousstructural components, such as different floors and walls, are specified.In the selection of materials we have taken into account the criteria of our specialization andadaptation to the aesthetic aspects, where we evaluate materials based upon our wishes regardingtechnique and form. There are also other aspects that are important in the selection of materials,including that these are adapted to technical traits of the construction elements and installations.In a later chapter the technical installations such as ventilation systems, heating systems,electricity and sanitation are presented, where both technical and financial aspects are describedin detail.

Ekonomiska aspekter och krav på minskad energianvändning leder bland annat till tilläggsisolering av vindsbjälklag och byte av uppvärmningssystem. Åtgärderna ger ett kallare och fuktigare klimat på vinden vilket gynnar mögeltillväxt. Minst 60 % av alla traditionella vindar med självdrag kan anses ha riklig tillväxt av mögelsvamp (Ahrenens och Borglund 2007). Syftet med denna studie är att ta ett steg i rätt riktning om vilka åtgärder som kan göras på de vindar som idag är angripna.I denna studie har tre vindars fukttillstånd utretts och jämförts. Ett av objekten har simulerats och utsatts för olika åtgärder.

I ett samhälle som präglas av diskussioner kring klimatförändringar, energikris och överkonsumtion är aktörer på alla nivåer skyldiga att bidra till ett effektivare energiutnyttjande. Klart är att Sveriges energikonsumtion måste sänkas för att klimatmålen ska kunna uppnås och denna rapport ämnar undersöka hur detta kan göras på kommunal skolnivå, en instans med knappa resurser men goda effektiviseringsmöjligheter. Målet var att frambringa förslag på åtgärder och förändringar som kan bidra till att minska energiförbrukningen i svenska skolor. Objektet för fallstudien är Bergshamraskolan, en relativt stor skola belägen i Solna kommun utanför Stockholm. Skolan byggdes på 60-talet och har sedandess genomgått ett fåtal upprustningar och renoveringar, energistandarden var därför genomgående låg. Utredningen inleddes med en omfattande litteraturundersökning där tidigare forskning och liknande arbeten granskades.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether a L2 learner could correct or imitate structures of the language that they could not produce in written production defined by processability theori levels.The Informants had Arabic as their mother tongue. The study showed that the ability of correction developed slower than the capacity for imitation and the ability to written production. The ability of the correction developed by the duration of the stay. The result was a confirmation of theory formation in processability theory. Corrective elicitering could be developed into a useful diagnostic tool in the classroom and thus provide an education that followed a natural learning order according to processability theory by Pienemann.Keywords: processability theori, imitation, correction, written production.

Bakgrund: Många av patienterna på en neurointensivvårdsavdelning (NIVA) vårdas med respirator under en längre eller kortare period av vårdtiden. Neurointensivvårdspatienterna bedöms ibland utifrån de kriterier för urträning och extubering som används på allmänna intensivvårdspatienter. Detta kan leda till för tidig extubation med reintubation som följd. Syfte: Redogöra för vilka kriterier som ska bedömas hos neurointensivvårdspatienter inför en extubering. Metod: Litteraturstudie.

The environment became an established issue on the international political agenda after World War 2. How to preserve natural resources became an issue that concerned several powerful participants, affected by changed conditions in the environmental legislation. This paper is a study of the growing environmental work within the multinational Swedish corporations Boliden, IKEA and SAS and how it was affected by the globalization. The material studied is environmentally related information produced by the companies and also interviews with the Environmental Managers. The information provided has been analyzed and compared with well-known opinions of globalization, trying to find out how the process of globalization has affected the handling of environmental work within the companies.

The essay is about how teenagers around 18 years of age in a small town in Sweden talk about gender, body and sexuality. The study is based on two focus group interviews with five boys and four girls. We have then thematized and analyzed the material with queer theory.The results show how young people see heterosexuality as something 'natural' and gender as biologically determined. The teenagers are critical towards anything that deviates from the traditional nuclear family consisting of mother, father and children. Norms are created in their speech as some of them acts as so called "border guards" for these norms.

The terror attack in New York year 2001 was a turning point in international politics. New policies were reformed in both USA and EU to secure their citizens from terrorism. The power of the institutions has developed and the question is; how does the new security policy affect people?s freedom? Is it the agencies new policies that are restricting the freedom or the actions of a terrorist? The purpose of this study is to examine if the security policies in USA and EU are protecting their citizen?s freedom. Many individuals are not aware of how much the security policies are affecting their lives.

Teknikprogrammet på Ållebergsgymnasiet i Falköping blir mer och mer populärt samtidigt som det kommer att saknas utbildade ingenjörer. Därför väljer Ållebergsgymnasiet att satsa på en ny kurs i byggteknik och samtidigt ta in fler elever till Teknikprogrammet.Arbetet med denna rapport har främst handlat om att samla in information för att utforma ett kurskompendium för en gymnasiekurs i byggnadsteknik till Teknikprogrammet på Ållebergsgymnasiet i Falköping. Teknikprogrammet har tidigare planerat att starta upp en sådan kurs och tidigare elever har varit intresserade av densamma.Kompendiet är inriktat mot småhus med trästomme och kursen ska vara allmänbildande och skapa intresse för byggbranschen i allmänhet och småhus i synnerhet. Det inledande kapitlet av kompendiet handlar om byggfysik med bland annat fukt, energi, ljud och ventilation. Sedan följer ett kapitel om byggteknik med förklaringar till hur en byggnad kan vara uppbyggd från grund till tak, vilka uppvärmningssystem som finns med mera.

In the spring of 2014 Sweco Systems AB were commissioned to design a ventilation system for a newly built preschool in Linköping. Terms from the client was that it cost efficiency would cope with the energy demands that are placed on the building. The unit chosen was a cross-flow heat exchanger, and this work is to compare it with two other heat exchangers to see if a more energy and cost efficient could have been chosen. The heat exchangers that was chosen for the comparison was a rotating- and a counterflow heat exchanger. Simulations have been made to the different heat exchangers by the manufacturers.

During the last 100-200 years people have change their way of living and the condition and need for survival is no longer depending on the agricultural work. The forestry has replaced the farming and a lot of the natural pastural have been lost. Wessmantorp in the north part of Skåne is an old place for forestry and farming where people have been living for several hundred years. Studies of selected parts of the everyday landscape, that earlier have been settlement with small crofter?s holding, show that the changes in the landscape mostly depends on the human factor and that a lot of the cultivable soil have been replaced with spruce. Some of the areas, which the earlier dwellings were placed, still contain some remains of old house foundations and stone fences and can regard as being of an historical value. The studies provide the reader with a short background, the place as it is today and the changes of the land use in Wessmantorp.

This project has been about illustration, text and format with illustration as the main communication path.A study has been made of how these three elements interact, particularly how text and format affect the illustrations. The goal has been to create an illustrated story in a form of a book. The story is about the feeling of being alienated from other people and invites the reader to make their own interpretations. The main target audience has been the ones who is interested in illustration and storytelling, no matter of age.Colors has been inspired from animated movies and the natur. Various textures such as wood, fabric and metal for example has been scanned to create a rough feeling.

By conducting qualitative interviews five pedagogues and eight children in the ages three to five have answered questions regarding environmental work in preschool.The purpose of this report was to examine how environmental work is pursued at two preschools and what children at these preschools think about environmental work. Recycling of garbage and small cultivation projects together with the children is what the pedagogues consider being the most common environmental work at their particular preschools. In the professional role of the pedagogue if can be clearly seen what special interests he or she has.Most of the children associate the forest with some kind of snack and animals. Half of the interviewed children also think about animals when they visit the forest. Half of the interviewed children also have an understanding of where peels from fruits should be tossed, but no one knows the meaning of the word environment.

The production of cut flowers has diminished in Sweden and the remaining growers produce mainly in greenhouses. This situation could be changed if hardy, garden perennials suitable for Swedish conditions were to be used as cut flowers. A grower with suitable equipment as plastic tunnels or houses would be able to provide florists with an attractive assortment of perennials for cutting, during an extended selling period compared with the natural flowering period for these cultivars. This assortment would be based upon imported perennials already used by florists, but would also contain new products. To investigate the demand for locally field grown perennials as cut flowers, an inquiry took place.

This paper aims to examine whether there are any substantial differences between a generation of users born during the 1960?s and younger generation born during the 1990?s regarding the use of digital technologies connected to the Internet. Based on Marc Prensky?s theories on people born before and after 1980 saying those born before are not as natural when it comes to using digital technologies. We used diaries as a qualitative method to gather data from 16 respondents.
