Denna uppsats behandlar rapportering av IT-incidenter. Mer specifikt har jag undersökt vilka rutiner som behövs för att organisationer på ett bra sätt ska kunna rapportera incidenter till Sitic, Sveriges IT-incidentcentrum. Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att rapporteringen till det relativt nya Sitic har varit trögstartad. Jag har undersökt vilka rutiner som bör finnas hos de rapporterande organisationerna och hos Sitic för att få till stånd ett effektivare samarbete. Resultatet har visat på att det finns brister i en del rutiner på båda sidor av förhållandet.

I en tid då allt fler röster höjs angående FN:s ineffektivitet har vi valt att undersöka hur organisationen behandlar medlingsuppdrag i mellanstatliga konflikter. Utifrån den pågående konflikten på Cypern och kriget mellan Iran och Irak på 1980-talet ser vi hur FN som tredje part har agerat dels utifrån ett systemperspektiv och dels på medlingsnivå. De valda konflikterna grundar sig i liknande frågor om nationell identitet, etnicitet och gränsdragning. För att täcka flera problemområden använder vi oss av realism, socialkonstruktivistisk organisationsteori samt erkända medlingsteorier.Efter att ha analyserat konflikterna har vi sett att FN är i behov av reformer som stärker möjligheterna att medla fram lösningar i konflikter, då rådande omständigheter gör FN beroende av stöd från andra aktörer och egna medlemsländer..

I detta arbete belyser jag elevers tankar om fotosyntes och nedbrytning. Syftet är att studera hur elever tillämpar naturvetenskaplig kunskap på vardagsfenomen. Jag studerar hur eleverna använder sitt vardagliga språk och den teori de lärt sig i skolundervisningen. Aktuell forskning på dessa områden presenteras tillsammans med teorier om lärande och analyser och kommentarer till kursplanen.Intervjuer har genomförts med ett antal elever där undersökningens huvudmål har varit att se hur eleverna utvecklat sin förståelse rörande frågor om fotosyntes och nedbrytning när de gått från grundskolan till gymnasiet samt om vetenskapliga språk förändras i någon utsträckning. Resultatet har sedan jämförts med en nationell utvärdering av skolans naturvetenskapliga undervisning där samma frågor användes.Det resultat arbetet utmynnat i har gett mig den insikten att elever ofta har mer kunskap än de spontant visar.

Spelbaserad tr?ning har visat positiva effekter p? motivation och engagemang i andra sammanhang, men hur idrottare uppfattar spelbaserad skadeprevention ?r inte unders?kt.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka drogturismen från ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv, alltså försöka förstå fenomenet som den upplevs av aktörerna. Baserad på en fältstudie där jag genomför intervjuer så är målet att kunna förklara hur och varför drogturism uppstår. Intervjuer har genomförts med individer som har rest till Barcelona under olika tidsperioder och tagit del av drogscenen. Tidigare studier har visat att semesterresor är vanligt förekommande för att initiera ett drogbruk. En hypotes avseende orsaken till droganvändandet är att resan till semesterorten skulle vara en medveten handling som genomförs med syfte att använda droger, s k drogturism.

Background and problem: The importance of banks was clearly shown during the last financial crises, when the crises that started in the banking sector spread to the rest of the world. This is one of the reasons that this thesis is focused on banks in particular, one other reason is that a lot of previous studies has chosen to exclude banks because of the fact that their balance sheet differ from non-financial companies. This thesis is a beginning in filling in the gap that exists in the knowledge of banks capital structure. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to prove that it is possible to explain the capital structure in banks and that differences in the capital structure of the banks in Great Britain, Sweden and the United states of America exists. Method: The fact that our study is partly a replication of two earlier studies made a deductive approach most appropriate.

On the third of August 2002, in the middle of the ongoing Swedish election campaign, Lars Leijonborg beeing the leader of Folkpartiet (the Peoples Party) presented the partys new intergration programme for foreign nationals. One of the proposals was to instigate a language test for all immigrants seeking to obtain Swedish citizenship. This thesis addresses the medial debate that followed the proposal in the daily press. Using discourse analysis and postcolonial theory this thesis looks into the fact that there were not unity in the wake that followed the language test proposal resulting in one medial and one popular discourse. The newspapers investigated were largely negative in their tone, whereas on the opinion pages, the view of the people seemed much more positively inclined.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine which role public libraries play or could play within bibliotherapy. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five librarians who, in one way or another have experienced bibliotherapy activities. Further, we have interviewed two treatment assistants and one counsellor, who have cooperated with the librarians, to get their view. We have used the following research questions: Which bibliotherapeutic activities, if any, are pursued in public libraries in Sweden, and how do they look upon bibliotherapy? What role do public libraries play/could play within bibliotherapy? Ever since the term bibliotherapy was coined in the beginning of the twentieth century, the definition has been under debate. We have identified four main subjects of discussion.

This essay has an aim to map out the discourses in the debate around local self government and national equivalence, which are both essential democratic values. The essay is delimited to the area of the comprehensive school. Interviews have been made with key persons in different positions in a selected municipality. I also use material that has been written in the context of Ansvarskommittén. The material is analysed using an integrated discourse analysis.

This bachelor?s thesis is a study that examines cactus groups in Sweden from a heritage conservation perspective. Through interviews and an analysis of both historical and modern literature, the research explores why cactus groups became popular and what is required to preserve those still in existence today. A recurring challenge has been the lack of comprehensive source material, leaving some questions open for further research. The study focuses on four cities?Norrk?ping, Skellefte?, Varberg, and V?xj??that have maintained their cactus groups for nearly a century.

Mergers between companies has become more and more common in Sweden and in the rest of the world with the motive to increase the competitive strength in the current markets and has an important role within organisational development of companies. When organisations merger there is not only buildings and objects that are put together but also their individual organisational structures, people, values and cultures. This can be a difficult process and can affect many people in how they think conscious as well as unconscious, feel and react.The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of how employees are affected following a merger when changes in the organisational culture come up, and how these changes are expressed.This thesis is delimited to investigate only one company, Skruf Snus AB and only focus on their business and employees in the region of Stockholm. The thesis contains a qualitative investigation with semi structured interviews that has been carried out with eight employees at Skruf Snus AB. The thesis is partly based on a model of Schein which describes the different levels in organisational culture and partly on some theories about reactions to change in relation to the integration between the employees following a merger.The results of the investigation indicate that with a merger the whole organisational culture is affected and therefore also the employees.

Syftet med detta arbete är att fördjupa våra kunskaper om terrorism samt att ge läsaren en inblick i ämnet och få lite kunskap om hotbilden i Sverige samt vad Sverige har för resurser att möte terrorism. Första delen av arbetet försöker vi definiera vad terrorism är, beskriva olika organisationer redogöra för Sveriges definition av ordet terrorism. Därefter försöker vi förklara olika typer av terrorism som nationell, internationell, vänster, höger, stats, och religiös terrorism. Nästa del av arbetet handlar om Sverige, där vi berör terroristdåd som utförts i Sverige samt hotbilden i Sverige nu och i framtiden. Därefter berör vi Sveriges beredskap och de olika myndigheter som är ansvariga i Sverige för arbetet mot terrorism.
