This study is an attempt to shed light on problems and possibilities of the school library of the Swedish comprehensive school concerning library law and goals of the school and the school library. Many investigations about the role of the school library of the comprehensive school have been carried through. They have all more or less come to the same conclusions. In spite of Swedish library law and goal documents of the school library, the school libraries are often neglected, if not will and commitment are to be found among teachers. Using a model of the school organisation by Gunnar Berg, three cases of school libraries are presented and analysed in a larger organisational and political perspective.

During the last few years the alcohol consumption has increased and is now the highest in 100 years, one usually count that 10 % of the grown up population abuse alcohol and/or drugs and most of them are hidden abusers with families and work. This leads to great costs for the companies. But the much greater cost for the companies are the much larger group of risk abusers. According to the Swedish law the employer has a responsibility for the work milieu and also for the rehabilitate for the employed and drug/alcohol abuse applies to this.I have done qualitative interviews on four companies in the south of Sweden with one representa-tive for the management and one representative for the union. I have investigated their attitudes to alcohol and drugs and how they describe the alcohol culture at the company.The companies define alcohol problems when they are established and obvious and when it is dis-covered they put in resources and because of this they don't work preventive so much.

In Sweden between 800.000 and 900.000 people have some kind of alcohol related addiction. Each and everyone are expected to have three relatives who in some way are involved in the abuser´s way of life. The consequences of living close to someone with an abuse of alcohol is described as a chaotic life with extreme emotional stress, fear and anger.The aim with our essay has been to look into how social workers are describing their work, from the relatives´ point of view. We also wanted to understand how the relatives´ situation can be. We reached our aim through interviews with social workers and by literature studies.The primary conclusion of the essay is that the dominating theory is that addiction is an illness.

In this study we have examined how teachers work with the documentation of formative assessment with focus on how to design the right technological support to make it more simple and more efficient. We have studied how teachers? work with documentation in practise based on the guidelines for formative assessment presented at the National Agency of Education. We performed observations and interviews in primary schools with teachers in different subjects in Ska?ne and Norrland.

Anorexia nervosa is a psychosomatic eating disorder that involves self starvation and fear of gaining weight. Our purpose was to study the methods of treatment available and the function of them. Another part of the purpose was to find out what kind of goals the treatment has and if an anorectic person can be cured. To understand the methods of treatment we also wanted to find out what the causes to the development of the disease can be. The questions were: 1.

The aim of this thesis is to study why Swedish authorities do organizational changes. Two organizations are analyzed; The Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) and the National Statistics Office of Sweden (Statistiska centralbyrån). A qualitative method, consisting mainly of interviews with key officials, is employed to study two aspects of organizational change: first, the main reasons for changing the organization and, second, how the process that preceded the actual change was carried out. Furthermore, two different theoretical perspectives are used to construct a basis for the analysis. One of the perspectives assumes a social constructivist approach, while the other is rationalistic inspired.

AbstractAs a result of globalisation, there are indications that National cultural differences between countries are becoming increasingly vague. Research shows that industries develop similarities, as a result of the integration between corporations that has followed the interNationalisation. The aim of this study was thus to investigate whether different countries in the same industry can develop similar perceptions regarding what is considered effective leadership. The study also aimed to investigate whether these perceptions can influence how leadership is exercised. The leader qualities that were identified were categorised based on the leadership attributes that were formulated in Project GLOBE.

Our main aim has been to examine and analyse how Landskrona Commune is working with preventive measures against narcotics among youth in the agespan 15-18 years old. The central issues have been to examine how you work preventively, which measures are taken when someone has tested/used narcotics and how the cooperation works between the different actors. To get answers to our questions, we chose to interview and observe specialists coming I contact with the youth. We have also used previous researches by using existing literature on the subject.Our work has been based on an historical review of Swedish politics and the lawful aspects on the use of narcotics.The concepts used to answer our questions are preventive-, secondary- and tertiary prevention. We have found that the preventive work is of importance to the youth, the parents and society.

Swedish Armed Forces are according to their development planning process taking actions to establish a new joint unit (SWEWOSE), with electronic warfare capability. SWEWOSÉ S main task will be designated to produce electronic warfare libraries for electronic warfare systems within the armed forces. The unit shall have capability to support with libraries in any state of conflict situation even if the supported unit with library needs conducting operations abroad.This essay examines the requirements that justify the establishment of a new unit in times when the armed forces conducting reorganizations and cutbacks in both economy and personnel.The possibilities to buy complete system solutions from an external supplier are examined. But also what kind of library support model that is to prefer according to the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces desired, in terms of capability in platform protection and battle space awareness.The results show that the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces has decided, best will be ful-filled and justified by a National electronic warfare unit, with library production as a main task..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur kommunikation och ledarskap formas i ett internationellt projekt.För att beskriva hur kommunikation och ledarskap formas i ett internationellt projekt har vi använt en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod. Vi har även använt oss den hermeneutiska tolkningen för att kunna belysa och jämföra våra respondenters syn på kommunikation och ledarskap. Vår studie har visat att nationell kultur har en stor påverkan på både kommunikation och ledarskap i ett internationellt projekt som kännetecknas av komplexitet och risker för missförståelse. Detta beror på att de personliga värderingarna skiljer sig åt mellan olika nationella kulturer. Språkbarriär, olika arbetssätt och arbetsmetoder, i det flesta fall är det kulturella skillnader som medför svårigheter i under projektets gång.

After repeated criticism of the social services about how they manage family care, the National Board of Health and Welfare decided to solve the problem by importing a model used in England (Integrated children's system). This was translated into Swedish conditions and named BBIC (Barns behov i centrum = Child?s needs at the center). Our study aims to investigate whether BBIC will contribute to more and more extensive follow-ups of children placed than before, with a focus on the child's best. This has been studied through qualitative interviews with six social workers who work with children investigations.

Det finns många olika källor där man kan få information om sårbarheter i routrar och switchar. Mängden information gör det dock svårt att på ett enkelt sätt ta reda på vilka tillverkare som drabbas och vilken typ av sårbarheter man hittar i nätverksutrustning. Därmed är det också svårt att veta hur man ska skydda sin utrustning mot attacker.I detta examensarbete analyseras ett antal befintliga sårbarheter i routrar och switchar. Dessa sårbarheter har valts ut genom att i National Vulnerability Database söka på orden ?router? och ?switch?.

Swedish design is known all over the world and is seen in National as well as in interNational arenas. There is only one design organization in Sweden that has the task to represent Swedish design in public. The organization is Swedish Form and it is the oldest design organization in the world. It has a huge influence in our society, within design and form. In the end of 1990 the association received its first government assignment, which still continues.
