Logistics planning for a construction site is usually limited by traffic flow to and from the workplace. The geographical location of the construction site is determined by roads around the workplace and opportunities for well-functioning logistics. Inventory of material is often impossible because of the frequently small workspaces. As a result, a concern relating material handling remains . Even before the establishment of a construction site, it is required in the construction industry to eliminate errors that might arise in the planning stage.

Har riten en djupare mening, ett arv vi bär med oss och känner ett undermedvetet behov av? Kan riten ge oss tröst? Vad har riten för betydelse för oss?I mitt examensarbete har jag undersökt hur vi genom riten reflekterar och knyter an till erfarenheten av att vara människa. Jag har tittat på om riten finns i vår vardag, utan att vi ser den. Kan de olika upprepande och igenkännande handlingar i ett hem ge oss den trygghet som en rit kan ge? Riten kännetecknas genomkontinuitet, igenkänning, tillhörighet och tröst.

The aim of this study was to understand how the professional in social work handles the media scrutiny. When the media writes about social services there is seldom anything positive written about it, many social services organizations are instead heavily criticized and scrutinized by the media. When social services organizations are scrutinized by the media there is a crisis at work, and therefore should be handled as a crisis. Therefore, we describe how a crisis management might look like in an organization. The study is qualitative therefore we have interviewed four municipalities in Sweden that have been exposed by the media at a national level.

Denna studie handlar om hur mottagandet av nyanlända elever går till i Södertäljekommun.Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur staten genom kommunalnivå tänkersig att nyanlända elever ska tas emot i den svenska skolan och hur skolledning ochövrig personal förväntas arbeta med detta.Genom en kvalitativ metod har vi studeratkommunala dokument i kombination med intervjuer, hur mottagande av nyanländaelever kan gå till väga i praktiken.Det som kommit fram ur analysen visar på att detär av stor vikt att skolpersonalen och hela kommunen arbetar efter samma mål och attett gemensamt tänk genomsyrar organisationerna för att ett rättvist och gottmottagande ska kunna ges.Analysen visar att största ansvaret ligger på skolan ochden enskilda läraren. Slutsatsen är att samhället och skola behöver integreras mer ochregeringen behöver tillgodose skolornas behov av verktyg och resurser för att kunnage de nyanlända den bästa skolintroduktionen..

This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

This report is our Master thesis. Our work has taken place at a one-stop-shop in Sölvesborg during the spring of 2002. We have conducted ethnographical studies concerning the one-stop-shops frontdesk and telephone exchange. During these studies we became aware of some differences under which the daily work was to be carried out. When operating the switchboard the staff usually work alone and perform the tasks individually.

The aims of the study were to investigate the prevalence and antibiotic resistance of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli in chicken and chicken products, and to investigate farmer awareness of antibiotic resistance development. The study was conducted in the Can Tho province in Vietnam during six weeks in October to November 2008. Ninety-six samples from raw chickens were collected from twelve market places and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. A total of 96 cloacal swabs from 20 farms were obtained and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. Farmers were asked to answer eight questions concerning the housing of the chickens, modes of handling sick animals as well as use and knowledge of antibiotics and resistance development to antibiotics.

Ala sawmill in Ljusne, Hälsingland, has increased its flow through the sawing plant during the last couple of years. The problem now is the sorting plant, as this part of the mill is now slower than the rest. A close analysis of the sorting plant was therefore necessary to be able to increase the flow through. The aim of the project was to find solutions that can lessen downtime and increase flow. The goal was to increase the flow from 650 to 925 logs through the sorting plant per hour.

Large volumes of excavated soil and rock are generated in building- and construction projects. These materials need to be transported longer and longer distances due to the densifications of cities. The transportation affects the environment in terms of noise and emissions, but also makes high demands on road infrastructure. To reduce the transport distances an increased responsibility for the excavated rock generated needs to be taken. Responsibility can be increased through an introduction of means of control.

Ett av Skatteverkets mest effektiva förfarande för att kontrollera en skattskyldig är skatterevision. Revision görs för att kontrollera om en skattskyldig har fullgjort sin uppgiftsskyldighet. Skatteverket undersöker då huruvida underlaget till deklarationen stämmer. Detta görs genom att kontrollera att redovisningen stämmer överens med uppgifterna i deklarationen och att dessa uppgifter överensstämmer med skattelagstiftningen. Revision får göras hos bl.a.

Ansökningshandlingarna i ett kommunalt rekryteringsärende är vanligtvis att betrakta som allmänna handlingar. Detta har ibland upplevts som ett problem för kommunala arbetsgivare. Det befaras att många kompetenta presumtiva intressenter avstår från att söka sig en ny kommunal anställning, då det inte kan ske utan en offentlighet redan vid ansökningstillfället.  Under de senaste 20 åren har kommuner därför i allt större utsträckning anlitat konsulter vid rekrytering av högre tjänstemän. I samband med detta har det flera gånger diskuterats hur detta förfarande påverkar offentlighetsprincipen. När privata konsulter sköter kommunala rekryteringsärenden, menar vissa att ansökningshandlingarna i ärendet inte är att betrakta som allmänna när de inkommer till konsulten.

Hur fungerar teckning som ett resonerande verktyg? Vad ger den utforskande handlingen upphov till? I mitt examensarbete söker jag efter referenser och begrepp som styrker min mening om vårt behov av att utveckla tecknandet (en handling som i följande används i en vidare bemärkelse). Som landskapsarkitekter är det viktigt att vi skapar vårat eget förhållande till den verklighet som omger oss ? och sätter den i relation till andras ? för att fungera som formgivare. Genom att utforska världen och dess landskap erhåller vi nya perspektiv och breddar vårat vetande. Med utgångspunkt i gestaltpsykologin, enligt Rudolf Arnheim behandlar jag förhållandet perception ? registrering ? teckning, vilket utgör den outtalade grunden för det som lärs ut på konst- och designutbildningar idag.

Genom att använda sig av ett och samma klipp men med olika bakgrundsmusik vill jag försöka förstå hur musik påverkar uppfattningen av en film. Syftet är också att jämföra min och Rasmus Wedins uppsats som heter ?Ljudet är halva upplevelsen...

In the last couple of years changes in the legal systems treatment of young offenders has given the social worker more legal responsibility. In view of this, our purpose with this study was to examine how social workers and prosecutors apprehend the role of the social worker during the legal process. The study was delimited to look into the handling of young offenders between the ages of 15 and 18 years old. The questions we intended to look at were: How do the social workers reason when trying to see the need of a child within a legal context; Do prosecutors and social workers experience that they have different approaches when looking at young offenders, as a consequence of their different professions; What is the opinion among social workers considering the duty of the social services to administrate community service for young offenders; How do the social workers argue when determining whether or not a young offender has a "special need for care". These questions were answered through empirical studies where six social workers and two prosecutors were interviewed.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka begreppet Det kompetenta barnet. Genom att undersöka toddlares förmågor och kompetenser i ett undersökande arbetssätt, ville jag se vilka kompetenser som barnen visar och hur det kan förhålla sig till bilden av det kompetenta barnet. Jag ville undersöka på vilka sätt barnen kommunicerade med varandra i undersökandet. Med fenomenen flyta och sjunka, som ämnesinnehåll i barnens undersökande, ville jag se hur barnen använder sig av de olika materialen och hur de uttrycker sig kring fenomenen. Jag ville även i denna studie undersöka vilka miljöerbjudanden och invitationer till handling som utemiljön erbjuder barnen i undersökandet.
